Dentists are artists emphasizes Dr. Jamil Alkhoury. He is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) with a degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, and he is an artist in his free time. The Doctor admits he is a perfectionist, determined to change how patients experience dental visits.
He approaches his patients' care much as he does a canvas. Dentist, artist, and research specialist with five patents in dentistry, Dr. Alkhoury believes in fact-based dentistry. He tackles problems with an innovative mindset, based on reality rather than perception.
Dr. Alkhoury is a member of the California Dental Association (CDA), American Dental Association (ADA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Jamal Alkhoury talks about his journey of becoming a dentist who not only fixed dental solutions but personally designed smiles and inculcated aesthetic design in his work to give people the look they wanted. From undergoing several board examination to fine tune his knowledge and skills on dealing with craniofacial pain, Dr. Alkhoury finds deep satisfaction in enabling patients regain their jaw function and enjoy a stress-free painless life.
My interest was cosmetic as I got the artistic skills and I am always passionate about making people look good and having a great smile and then I went into cases big cases where I was doing full mouth reconstruction there was something there that was missing.
So I decided to apply to craniofacial pain, sleep medicine, took courses and went back to school and learned more took my fellowship and went through all the steps, exams oral exams, hands on and then took the board exam written and oral and I passed it so I have got dual boards in sleep and pain.
I look at the problem not from just a dental, a tooth, an oral point of view but more like a patients total, and that is what is missing in dental school where they teach about teeth and inside the mouth never outside of it.
He pursues continuing education with an insatiable thirst for knowledge. In 2013 Dr. Alkhoury completed rigorous study and testing requirements to earn Fellowship in the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) and Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Along with his well-trained, caring, courteous staff, Dr. Alkhoury has dedicated his professional career to providing patients with the best that dentistry has to offer. He continually upgrades professional skills to the most recent approaches and techniques. Dr. Alkhoury's goal is to deliver better dentistry that meets patient expectation for comfort and personalized care, with an artistic touch.

Dr. Belli currently has a mobile anesthesia practice traveling to dental facilities all around the San Francisco Bay Area providing sedation and general anesthesia for dental procedures to children, adults and patients with special needs. Prior to starting her mobile practice, she provided general anesthesia at five separate pediatric dental surgery centers where she treated over 3000 children ages 13 months to 13 years. Dr. Belli received her DDS from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, attended a GPR at the V.A. in San Diego followed by a two year anesthesiology residency at Lutheran Medical Center,
Prior to her career in anesthesiology, Dr. Belli had a 20 year career in the software, IT and defense technology industries designing and implementing large scale database and communications systems. She also held positions in senior management as director, vice president and chief technology officer for various companies. She holds undergraduate degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

On Christmas Eve last year, my 18 month old son needed an emergency upper lip frenectomy. We didn't have an appointment...we were visiting family nearby when we realized he had an issue biting food and the team at Brentwood Family Dental were AMAZING. They found time to see my son by staying open later than planned and delaying their own holidays. A team of 5 helped perform the oral surgery and he has been doing so well since then. My son was smiling and eating later that day! The whole team, from the first phone call, were so kind and professional and I cannot thank them all enough. My son's pediatrician has since praised the dental work and he has had no complications whatsoever.

We moved Brentwood a couple years ago and needed to find a dentist. Based on reviews and what I read about Dr. Alkhoury I figured we would give them a try. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed! The ease of scheduling appointments (and me having to reschedule), to the care my daughter received has been incredible. We have gone through braces transformation and not only did Dr. Alkhoury walk us through the process each step of the way but Claudia did as well. She was very helpful with allllll my questions and she was so patient with me an my daughter. They will certainly be our Family dental office. Thanks to the entire staff for making us feel very informed and well taken care of!!

I would recommend Dr. Alkhoury to everyone I know. I've always had issues with my teeth and getting numb. That definitely is not the case with Dr.Alkhoury. I instantly got numb with no pain at all. He is very professional and very good at what he does. The staff is always great there as well. It is an overall great office and a good experience

Im excited to recommend Dr. Alkhoury for braces for the second time. My second daughter has now had braces placed with Dr.Alkhoury and just like the first go around it has been a great experience...staff super nice and Dr.Alkhoury really knows his stuff. It's an overall great office!

It's never fun to go to the dentist, but the friendliness and skill of Dr Alkhoury and his staff make it the best experience possible. Everyone was fantastic at every step of the process, from the quick appointment to no pain at all during the treatment, and the result looks great. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Deragopian helped me out a lot! I don't like going to the dentist, but to make a long story short, another dentist office was giving me the runaround trying to get me to schedule a consultation and a several dentist visit long term process that I didn't want to do (I really really don't like going to the dentist). Dr. Deragopian took me in the day I contacted his office, examined me, and did the work that my extremely painful tooth required all in the same day. Within 2 hours I was out of there and feeling much better. I am so glad that they were so fast. They entire staff was friendly. I was so happy that they didn't schedule me for a different day or drag the process out. Very professional!
