Way 400% overpriced because not in network with anyone and difficult to get an appointment due to only being open 3 days a week. Seem to only want to adminster expensive botox treatments. Claims to treat TMJ yet has no continuing education to prove it. Refuses to explain in detail treatment options. Avoid this quack.

I am so pleased with the end result! My teeth are now perfectly aligned, and there is no more night grinding due to misalignment and jaw pain. Dr. Holmes has a gentle way about him, very personable, and interested in me and my concerns. He takes the time to answer all my many questions prior to beginning any procedure. Allow me to give a longer review as I have just completed extensive reconstruction of every tooth! My teeth were problematic due to years of grinding, misalignment, and yellowing. I was experiencing sensitivity to heat and cold, had frequent headaches, and grinding woke me up nightly. Dr. Holmes made a personalized treatment plan for me that included resurfacing every tooth! Dr. Holmes lab created my crowns using a 3D printer right in the office! This is such a great service because I did not have to go through the pain of having temporary crowns put on only to go back a few weeks later to have them removed and put the permanent crowns on. My teeth are degrees whiter and much larger, which created a beautiful smile, improved my bite, and increased my self-confidence. Dr. Holmes said I am "ready for Hollywood!" In fact, I am now a "tooth model" for older patients who other dentists and specialists were unwilling to take the risks to help. Dr. Holmes' staff include some of the most caring folks who make sure I understand exactly what the treatment process will involve. They explain the amount insurance will potentially pay and the fees that are my responsibility. In case all the wonderful things I have said have not made it perfectly clear, I want to say that I am happy to recommend Dr. Holmes to you! He will provide you with professional, caring treatment and guidance to help you make good decisions about your teeth. After all, it is your teeth and your smile that matter the most!

I had a complicated dental problem that no dentist wanted to try and fix. I heard about Dr. Holmes and drove 5 hours to see him. He fixed my problem with his 3D printed crowns and now I'm pain free and have a great smile! The entire staff and office is awesome!

New to the area and I had a bad jaw injury that damaged my TMJs. No doctor was able to figure out what was wrong or even listened to me until i found Dr. Holmes. They had a high tech office and awesome, kind staff. If you have a TMJ problem don't waste time and money anywhere else - go to Dr Holmes!!!

After years of being misdiagnosed and suffering from TMJ pain I heard about Dr Holmes and traveled from out of state to see him. He accurately diagnosed and treated my problem by his thorough testing and i am finally pain free !! Staff very knowledgeable and kind too!

We heard about Dr. Holmes from a friend who highly recommended his office. Even though it's a long drive for us, we decided to give them a try. Our experience there was far beyond our expectations. Firstly, the office staff is friendly, helpful and very transparent and communicative regarding their charges. The office is clean, smells great and they provide snacks and other dental goodies while you wait. Secondly, I got right in, no waiting. I am a disabled person and require extra time and effort to get in and out of the chair and they were so patient and willing to make certain I was safe and comfortable the entire time. Thirdly, Dr Holmes is amazing! I hadn't been to a dentist in a while and I had to have some crowns put on. I've never had any major dental work, so I was really apprehensive. Dr Holmes and his techs were kind, reassuring, patient and gentle, I was impressed that they went out of their way to make the process pain-free and relaxing. The office is very communicative and high tech from the front desk to their lab, with their own 3D crown creations. We highly recommend Brentwood Dental! Great professionals, great people!

I've been to several doctors all around Nashville to fix my TMJ problem. Thankfully i finally found Dr Holmes ! He is the only doctor that listened to me and performed a thorough exam and discovered my true problem. Great staff and office too!

No treatment plan was offered. Surprise charges. I regret not demanding, up front, a TMJ treatment plan, to know what was supposed to happen. In the end, all I got was a fancy splint that I stopped wearing (I'll explain a few lines down). Halfway through the "program", Brentwood Dental charged me $600, in addition to the hundreds of dollars I had already paid. I don't know why they didn't ask me for the money all at once, or at least give me a heads up before the day of. I finished an office visit. Then out of nowhere, "Your fee today is $600.00." This was a complete surprise. Also, after beginning the program, I'm told to have my wisdom teeth removed. To my surprise! Why didn't they tell me up front? Months earlier? After being told to wear the dental splint 24/7, I'm told to just wear it nightly, for at least 4 hours. A day later, my jaw started feeling like it was dislocating, every time I ate something, even if I was eating something very soft like noodles. The bottom of my jaw would just slip forcefully to the left. THAT HURT. A LOT. My jaw did NOT do that before. Before, there was only clicking and popping, and the feeling of a mild earache. So, I stopped using that splint altogether. Know what? The slipping/dislocating action stopped. Completely. I'm back now to the familiar clicking and popping. I was told at the beginning of the program that I'd be instructed on some jaw exercises. NEVER got instructed on any exercises at all. I'd not return to this office due to the level or lack of communication. So, folks, just make sure to ask if you can get a written treatment plan, so there's no surprises or misunderstandings. If a doctor cannot respect you to give a treatment plan in writing, you might want to try somewhere else. My regular dentist is GREAT about detailed treatment plans. For my situation, I wish I'd gone to a chiropractor who specializes in TMJ first and left my wisdom teeth alone. They were not bothering me. My treatment at Brentwood Dental & TMJ was most of the year in 2021.

I actually look forward to my appointments! My whole family goes here and I refer Dr. Holmes to literally everyone I know. Have you ever had a dentist you've wanted to refer? He's amazing, everyone here is amazing. Do yourself a favor and make the appointment.

From Mary: Referred here for TMJ issues. Staff & Dr. Holmes are awesome!! He is very patient and explains the treatment in detail. Six weeks into treatment and going very well. Pain was gone after one week of beginning treatment. Cleaning today by Morgan and she did a great job.

Dr Balch and Dr Young, the surgeon, worked together to fix some denture problems unique to me. They worked with me to come up with an affordable plan. Leaving open a plan for improving them in the future. When I was ready for the improvement I found out Dr Balch had been replaced by Dr Holmes. Because I trusted Dr Balch to pick his successor, I made the appointment. Dr Holmes still uses Dr Young and the staff remembered me, so they knew exactly why I was there. They gave me a beautiful smile plus usable, comfortable, functional teeth. I am so grateful. Thank you ALL!

I'll start by saying I'm a dentist in Venezuela and was having a hard time finding a dentist here that I could trust, since every phony out there wants to make a full mouth of crowns to "even out your bite". Luckily I found Dr Holmes and from the first minute I knew I could trust him. I just finished my TMJ treatment and the improvement is unbelievable. No crazy full mouth crowns, no super expensive unnecessary treatments, just minimally invasive procedures performed. Thank you Dr Holmes and Big Thanks to the team who are always so kind and caring.

First impressions means a lot and this office is AMAZING. I walked in and the office smelt like heaven, it was so clean. They even offer treats while you wait, even though I didn't have to. The staff was AMAZING from the time I hit the door until I left. The tech, Morgan was AMAZING she broke everything down and took her time going over everything every step of the way. She was kind, patient and I could tell she was a genuine person. She made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Holmes came in to seal the deal, he is a kind man and all the staff have BEAUTIFUL SMILES.. he said he will get me one too...lol I can't wait to go back

There aren't enough stars to rate the experience I had visiting Dr. Holmes office. I was involved in an accident over the weekend and Dr. Holmes made time for me first thing on Monday morning. Dr. Holmes was able to assess the damage and come up with a treatment plan that required replacement of a broken crown. Dr. Holmes was able to fit a new crown on site with their 3D technology and the results were a perfect match. With this 3D technology, there is no need for a temporary crown, the tooth is designed and fitted same day. The technology is state of the art! I would also like to thank Dr. Holme's entire staff for such wonder customer service! From the second you walk into their office to the time you leave, it is obvious that their #1 priority is the patient. THANK YOU Dr. Holmes for the best possible experience!

This was my second time visiting Dr Holmes in the past week. Once for a TMJ assessment and another for a cleaning. Very impressed with the detail in which they explain everything, how quickly they were able to get me in and everyone was super friendly. Highly recommended!!

Received a thorough cleaning and a myriad of x-rays. Dr. Holmes seems very personable and patiently answered questions. Office staff was cordial and helpful. Very good initial visit.
