I received his BA at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Upon graduation from Hendrix, I spent four years at Oklahoma City at the OU Health Sciences Center from which I achieved my DDS degree. Following dental school, I completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This opportunity gave me intimate experiences in all specialties of dentistry, and pursuing what was one of his favorites of the specialties, I completed an Oral and Facial Surgery Internship at JPS Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. I have had the education to allow me to perform and master procedures outside the scope of general dentistry. These include implant placement, wisdom teeth removal and other soft tissue surgeries. Their use in the comprehensive care of a patient is invaluable.
Continuing education, in my mind, is the driver of successful dentistry. It allows for refinement through continually learning to provide the best for patients. I have achieved my Fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Implantology in this process.
I have proudly served the great people of Fort Worth since 2002 with the last 10 years having worked as a sole proprietor in owning and running my own office. I truly believe I have the best staff in the world and am blessed to work alongside such wonderful people.
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, I have lived in Fort Worth, Texas for the past 16 years. My family includes my mother Janie, and my brother Brad. In my spare time, I enjoy long-distance swimming, hunting, gardening, and adventure travel. I am also active in our community as a volunteer for Save-A-Smile of Tarrant County and the Salt and Light dental clinic through First Presbyterian Church in downtown Fort Worth.
Brenda is a registered dental hygienist. She earned her RDH at Tarrant County Community College. She is married to her best friend and has 2 awesome children. Brenda has worked with Dr. Spear since 2010. She currently resides in North Richland Hills. Brenda enjoys music, watching movies with her family and loving on her fur babies.
Beth has been a registered dental assistant since 1998. She has worked for Dr. Spear since 2016 as his dental assistant. Beth has also had the opportunity to work in Texas, Kansas and Arkansas and has increased her knowledge and skills over the years through multiple continuing education classes and on- the-job experiences.
Ali attended Concorde Career College where she received her RDA certificate. She started her career as an extern with Dr. Spear in 2019 and was soon hired on to be a part of the team. She loves being a dental assistant because she loves helping people and loves seeing patients smiles transformed.
Ali is married to her best friend Zach. They have a German Shorthaired Pointer fur baby named Cooper. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends. She also loves being outdoors, country concerts and DIY projects.
Katy recently joined Dr. Spears team in April of 2021. Before joining the office, Katy used to be an equine veterinary technician in Decatur, TX. She had worked as a front desk team member at the beginning of her dentistry career. Since then her career has evolved into being trained to be a dental assistant.
Shanna has worked in dentistry for 3 years. She has worked for Dr. Spear since November 2017. She works as an office assistant and Social Media Coordinator for Dr. Spear. Being able to help patients and form friendships with them is something she has loved about dentistry.
Katherine has been working in dentistry for over 8 years. She started working for Dr. Spear in 2020 as an office assistant. Helping an office run smoothly and successfully is always something she has loved about dentistry.
Cassandra graduated from Concorde Career Institute receiving her RDA in 2013. Since then, has been in the dental field for eight years with both clinical and administrative training. With her experience, she understands the importance of helping patients and being part of a great team.
