Dr. Takagi and his staff went the extra mile to help me replace a broken crown that I'd been avoiding fixing for years! His hygienists and staff always take great care and have been far ahead of the curve for adopting new health and safety measures. My husband and son both switched to Dr. Takagi and after hearing how highly we recommend his office my mom and grandma now see Dr. Takagi, too. Location is very convenient - I think the building is called the Pan Am - just across the street from Don Quijote, near Ala Moana. Easy validated parking, too. Definitely recommend!

Excellent service and a friendly, comforting bedside manner, very accommodating schedule. I was in a lot of pain from multiple issues that I had procrastinated taking care of. Dr Takagi and his staff arranged for a treatment evaluation and Bonnie explained what my insurance would cover and what I'd pay out-of-pocket. Then they setup an immediate care appt to get my pain under control on their lunch break, very much appreciated! Jade does a great job of explaining dental care and I actually enjoy my cleanings. Dr Takagi was recommended to me by a friend and I recommend his clinic to all my friends looking for excellent care.

Dr. T and staff: thank you so much! I am not the best patient; yet you and your staff continue to treat me like I am. When I attend my appointments, I truly feel, as soon as I enter that door, that I'm not inconveniencing anybody in that office. I appreciate Dr. T's patience and grace in educating me with my dental needs. You know, I've gone through so many damned dentists; not one of them had ever come to a complete stop in the work to address my darn bite. Until I had come to this office, I never knew my true bite. Dr. T and his staff pretty much stopped in their tracks and had to go back to the drawing board because my bite was kooky and a re-cast was needed ... long story short, I had to go back several times just to take care of one broken crown. But each time I go back, I don't feel bad or embarrassed, and I feel respected. The entire staff is excellent in what they do, and the pride they have in what they do makes me feel rest-assured that I've found the best dental office on this island!

I've been going to Dr. Tina Tom for years - since I used to work in the same building - it was easy and convenient. That was over 20 years ago - and I have moved jobs several times - but have continued to come back because the staff here is awesome. Dr. Takagi has taken over in recent years and continues to maintain a great staff and Dr. Tom's same high level of service. I see Raena for my semi-annual cleanings and love that the staff treats me as if they see me every day. Thank you for helping to keep my smile healthy and looking shiny and new!

Growing up in a military family, I've experienced many different dentist offices. Some have been good, others have been just okay, but none have come close to matching the quality and care I receive from Dr. Takagi and his staff. I felt comfortable from my very first appointment. From the friendly receptionist, to the well-trained dental hygienists, to Dr. Takagi himself, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable. Dr. Takagi is exactly what you want from a dentist, thorough, meticulous and friendly. My teeth have never looked better and that's why I highly recommend Dr. Takagi!
