Since childhood, I have dreamed of being a dentist. When I was young, I had two very influential experiences with dentistry. Unfortunately, my first dental visit was unpleasant and painful, both physically and emotionally. However, my uncle, who was also a dentist, had a tremendous impact on my life. He showed me that there is nothing to be afraid of at the dentist, as long as they are committed to being gentle, kind, and compassionate. These two experiences shaped my career goals and who I am as a dentist.
My number one goal as a dentist is to help my patients feel as physically and emotionally comfortable as possible. Patient education will be a primary focus and will include preventative care information as well as detailed explanations of any dental procedures that I will be providing. I want my patients to be fully informed and comfortable with everything I need to do to fulfill their dental needs. I want to create an experience which makes the patient feel that he or she is part of the dental team with their input being respected and influencing final treatment plan decisions.
I believe that a person's smile can change their life. I am moved by the emotional satisfaction I have seen from the cosmetic influence of a beautiful smile; therefore, I strive to provide services that enhance their dental health and overall motivational and emotional health related to dentistry.
I intend to provide an overall quality of service which exceeds expectations. Providing people with a service that surpasses expectations in a cooperative, team approach will be my primary goal. These goals can be achieved with the quality of care I provide in conjunction with the high technological advances in dentistry today and the future.
I believe Oral Health is a gateway to your overall well being. I alsomaintain my physical health by competitive local events like Running and triathlons. I have enjoyed running the Rock and Roll Half Marathon in San Antonio, Austin 1020 and local events like the Lake Pflugerville Triathlon. I enjoy many outdoor activities as mentioned as well as hiking, camping and canoeing. A personal goal of mine is to be able to participate in local race events until my elder years.

Nice to meet you my name is Jennifer. I was born in Wisconsin. My parents and I moved to Austin when I was only six months old. I love the warm weather and I am here to stay. I have two awesome boys and soon to be husband in March 2015. In my free time I like to go the lake, travel, and spend quality time with my family and friends.
I became a dental assistant in 1999. From there I realized that I love all aspects of dentistry, especially working with people who are afraid of going to the dentist. With my fun- loving personality, I help our patients feel at ease. I am proud to say that I have worked with Dr. Gentry for over 17 years, where exceeding expectations is what we are all about. After Growing up in Washington state I joined the Marines. I was stationed in Japan where I met my husband. After 5 years of active service, I decided go into the dental field. I got certified in Dental Assisting then shortly after that went into Dental Hygiene school where I achieved my Hygienist license. I am gratified by helping patients gain knowledge and improvements of their overall dental health and smile.
Dr. Brenda R. Gentry has been practicing dentistry in Pflugerville since 1998, and is excited to serve patients in her beautiful new office. Dr. Gentry and her talented team utilize the latest dental technology and methods to ensure the most efficient, effective, and comfortable treatments for every patient.

Besides the excellent dental care and cleaning, I received a referral to ENT for help with a painful condition inside my right cheek. I see that Doctor on August 1 and hope to get some relief for this painful condition.

My family and I have been going to Dr.Gentry for over 20 years. She has the most amazing staff that provided the best care you can imagine, they will make you feel at ease while in their care. Going to the dentist is not fun for anybody but being at Dr. Gentry office will make you change the outlook on that. Best customer service in town, highly recommend them! Kaitlyn was amazing while cleaning my teeth, she was gentle and took her time which is highly appreciated.

Everyone were very helpful. They explained each step of what was going to be done. Dr Gentry told me what needed to be done and I was given information on each step to be taken to achieve making my teeth in better condition. Should someone need a dentist I would definitely recommend Dr Gentry.

Being unhappy with my previous dental care provider In Round Rock with numerous Dental Dr's I can count on both hands and numerous times throughout the years of constantly having my dental dr's changed pretty much annually, or not working there anymore. I decided in a search for a new dental care provider, and found Dr Gentry. Upon my first visit I was really impressed with the office staff as well as Dr Gentry who want to learn about their patients on a personal level rather then looking at them as just another patient and know nothing about them. I certainly won't have to worry about rotating Dental Dr's flowing in and out of Dr Gentry's office and I believe I will be very happy with this office and you will be to!

Dr Gentry is awesome! She puts me at ease, has a great sense of humor, and really takes the time to explain everything as she's working. When I first met her I was impressed with her and her staff right away. She sat down and asked how I liked to be communicated with, what my expectations were, etc. She has a passion for what she does and it shows!
