Oregon native Dr. Tylor Brekke knew from a young age that orthodontics was the path his career would take. His focus is to nurture a real relationship with every person he meets, learning about their lives, hopes, and dreamseverything in life that makes them smile.
Dr. Brekke was trained at Oregon Health and Science University, one of the countrys state-of-the-art dental programs. There, he earned both his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (with highest honors) and his Master of Science in Orthodontics.
Dr. Brekke offers the most up to date and cutting-edge treatment philosophies and materials thanks to his ongoing commitment to continuing education. He keeps informed on the most advanced techniques, appliances, materials, and theories established by the orthodontic scientific community. In doing so, he ensures that he provides patients with the most optimal care.
I am a very easy going small town guy. You won't get flashy sales pitches or entitlement. Youll never be talked down to and you will always feel comfortable to speak your mind. You will always be heard and listened to. Im invested in your smile during the treatment process, but my hope is you enjoy your smile for the rest of your life.
Always on the lookout for the next adventure, Dr. Brekke loves pushing himself to the extremes and trying new things that take him out of his comfort zone. Some of his favorite hobbies include mountaineering, backpacking the PNW, archery, basketball, scuba diving, running races, snowboarding, wakeboarding, cooking, and traveling. He enjoys exploring all that nature has to offer, from the beaches to the mountains and everything in between.
I feel blessed to have had the fortune and opportunities I have had in my life to this point. I wouldn't have had those opportunities without the help of others. This is why I think it is so important for me to give back my time. Theres no greater payment for your efforts than a hug and heartfelt gratitude.
Dr. Brekke has always been involved in giving back to the community in one way or another. He served as President of the student/patient assistance program that provided funding to patients who could not otherwise afford it. He also worked closely with the inter-professional community health education exchange providing oral healthcare to underserved communities in Multnomah County. Now that he has his own practice, Dr. Brekke is excited to collaborate with the community to find the best ways to help those who need it the most.

Talia has been with Brekke & Sayre Orthodontics since 2012. Serving as our treatment, financial, and insurance coordinator, she meets with new patients to introduce them to our office and get them started on orthodontic treatment. Talia most enjoys seeing patients smile transformations, and how much more confident they are when their treatment is complete.
Joining Brekke & Sayre Orthodontics in 2003, Jolene provides chairside assistance in the clinical area and assists at the front desk. Her passion is making patients know they are welcome and in great hands during their visits. She enjoys the one-on-one patient interactions and helping increase their confidence with a healthy beautiful smile.
Crystal brought with her more than 15 years of experience as an EFDA when she joined Brekke & Sayre Orthodontics in 2021. She had the privilege of working in pediatrics, general dentistry, and now orthodontics! Crystal loves the one-on-one interactions she has with patients. She gets a lot of personal and professional satisfaction from helping people feel better, be more confident about their smile, or get over a dental fear!
