Dr. Michael Brechon Sr. has been a part of the Belvidere community most of his life. He completed his four-year pre-dental program at Southern Illinois University in just three years. He also attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In his free time, Dr. Brechon enjoys spending time with his family and an occasional game of golf. One of his proudest moments of his life is when he started working alongside his son at Brechon Dental. Dr. Brechon is a member of the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Society. Dr. Brechon and his dedicated staff are prepared to help you with all your dental needs.
Dr. Michael Brechon, Jr. is proud to work alongside his father in the community which supported him as he grew up. Raised by devoted parents, he is the eldest of three children. Dr. Brechon attended grade school at St. James Catholic School in Belvidere and graduated from Belvidere High School in 2002. He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI in 2006 where he met his wife Lindsay Brechon. They now have a beautiful daughter Nora that is the light of their life. Dr. Brechon earned his Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL, as well as his Master of Science in Oral Biology from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University where he was the President of his dental class all four years. During his final year, Dr. Brechon was awarded the Dr. David A. Reinsch Humanitarian Scholarship Award for embodying the spirit of humanitarianism, believing in the equality and welfare of others demonstrated through community service, advocacy, and leadership. In fact, his recognition caught the eye of the Creighton Dentist, which features Dr. Brechon in their Scholarship Spotlight.
Dr. Brechon is committed to leadership, kindness, humility, and clinical excellence. He stays on the cutting edge of post-graduate dental education and technology. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Society. He has post-graduate dental training through Spear Education, Dawson, and Las Vegas Institute (LVI). He is also a part owner and dentist at Exceptional Dentistry in Dixon, IL. He is honored to be back in his hometown providing dental care in his community that has always supported him.
Dr. Yazdan Haider completed his undergraduate training at Benedictine university, in Lisle, Illinois and went on to earn a Doctorate of Dental surgery from University of Michigan. During his time at the University of Michigan, Dr. Haider was chapter president and vice president of the American Student Dental Association. Dr. Haider values establishing long lasting relationships with his patients and helping patients overcome their dental anxiety. Dr. Haider enjoys spending his free time mentoring prospective dental students and volunteering. Dr. Haider enjoys Playing basketball, golf, and swimming in his free time. Fun fact, Dr. Haider has extracted nearly 6000 teeth in 3 years.
He was born and raised in Rockford. He grew up playing competitive golf. After graduating from Boylan High School he attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on a golf scholarship. After receiving his bachelors degree Dr. Konieczki attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry graduating cum laude. Outside of sports he enjoys playing guitar, traveling to new cities, and in his free time, hes always reading a good book.
