Dr. Ryan C. Terry, owner of Breaux Bridge Family Dentistry, is Louisiana born and raised. Originally from Bossier City, Dr. Terry graduated Valedictorian from Airline High School. While in high school, he competed in football and basketball receiving Academic All-State awards in both sports.
After graduation, his academic career continued at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. After 4 years, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Biology and a double minor in chemistry and microbiology. While in college Dr Terry met his beautiful wife, Meghan. He then decided to further his academic career and applied to dental school. To his delight, he was accepted to LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Terry graduated from LSUSD in 2008 and has been treating the people of Breaux Bridge, Lafayette and its surrounding areas ever since.
Dr Terry and his wife were blessed with their first child, Lyla, in 2010. Not long after their son Noah arrived in 2011. In 2013, Reese Michael was born and last but not least Dylan Elizabeth came in 2015. Between having 4 kids in 5 years to go along with 2 dogs (Demi and Peter) the Terry family has been very busy.
Family is very important to Dr. Terry and he views his staff and patients as an extension of that family. In his spare time Dr. Terry enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening and sharing these loves with his children.
Dr. Bennett Fontenot received both his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He went on to receive a Medical Technologist degree from Confederate Memorial Medical Center in Shreveport and then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.

Dr. Fontenot was named as one of Americas Top Dentists in 2008 by the Consumers Research Council of America and was featured in Whos Who in the South and Southwest. Dr. Fontenot also founded the first Fresh Breath Clinic in Acadiana and was featured on KATC television.
For the past 13 years, Dr. Fontenot has limited his practice to dentures and partial dentures and has delivered over 8100 dentures in his career. As a Certified Geneva Practitioner, he has delivered over 1100 Geneva 2000 dentures. As founder of the Geneva Dental Institute South, Dr. Fontenot conducts seminars for dentists across the nation who want to improve their denture skills.
Dr. Fontenot is married to Karen Karre Fontenot, and they have three adult children, Ben, Katherine, and Elizabeth. He and his wife are members of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, and they received the Catholic School Achiever/Supporter of the Year Award at Our Lady of Fatima School in 2000-2001. Dr. Fontenot enjoys dove hunting and tennis.
A native of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Gene is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been practicing with Dr. Fontenot for 30 years. She is a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana.
Gene has worked with the National Foundation for Handicapped Children and the Campaign for Concern for some 23 years. She cannot imagine working with a better team and she enjoys all of her wonderful patients.

Went there for years under Dr. Fontenot with no problems. Dr. Terry took over and makes patients point to their teeth for extractions. Pulled out the wrong tooth and got away with it. Never going back! Not that it'll ever matter to y'all, but you lost 2 loyal, long time patients!!!

Office staff very rude, unprofessional - lots of attitude when speaking to patient. Dr Terry is the reason for 3 stars and some of the dental staff very nice but your 1st line of contact, the ladies behind the window get a big thumbs down.

Excellent experience. Dr Terry and staff were able to work me in and repair a broken tooth. Traveling always presents some challenges but they solved my problem and we continued on our trip. Thanks again for being there.

I've been on a roller coaster ride since my husband died in 2011. I moved to a town I've never heard of before.. Basile, la. It's been a journey to find all the drs I needed. I also knew I'd have to find a dentist and get dentures. I found y'all and it's been an up and down anxiety ride for me. I want to thank y'all for all your kindness.

Love Dr. Terry. He's the best, not to fond of the office staff. Refused to run my dental insurance saying it wasnt purchased through my employer and I had to pay out of pocket. All insurance is not purchased through an employer. Whats the point of having dental insurance? I'm still waiting for my reimbursement. I will not be going back.

I have been a patient of Dr.Ryan Terry for almost 10 years. Dr.Terry has done root canals, crowns, and fillings on my teeth and all of his work in my mouth has been Outstanding!! Dr.Terry is an awesome dentist with a very friendly and professional staff that treat you like your family. If you are looking for a dentist I highly recommend Dr.Terry and his wonderful staff!
