Dr. Terlep has lived in Virginia for 20 years. She grew up in Greene County and Charlottesville, then travelled to Virginia Commonwealth University for college. She became interested in dentistry after attending a dental mission project with Dr. Bream, an activity she continued regularly while receiving her DDS training at Virginia Commonwealth Universitys School of Dentistry. We welcomed Dr. Terlep into the practice in July, 2016. Please note that since Dr. Alan Bream is retired, Dr. Dierdre Terlep has now taken over the practice.
Dr. Terlep is dedicated to expanding her knowledge of dentistry, and through a lifetime of continuing education and service to her community. In her free time, she is learning to play guitar and enjoys hiking in the woods with her dog, Kasha.

We want you to walk away feeling relaxed and comfortable about the treatment you just received. We know all of our patients and take the time to form one-on-one relationships with them because we believe that makes a difference in how you feel. The staff at Bream Family Dental Care is dedicated to proving you with a great experience and medical treatment that you trust.
Terri has been in the medical/dental field for 34 years. She came to Bream Family Dental Care 18 years ago to use her expert clinical skills in airway management and Advanced Cardiac Life Support for patients receiving nitrous oxide and sedation dentistry. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with her husband and two kittens, Calypso & Maia. Her favorite things are spending time with her 12 grandchildren, honeybee keeping, sewing, quilting, gardening and sailing.
McKenzie is the name, cleaning teeth is my game. I enjoy being around people and providing them with care. I love my family and if I am not at the office you will find me chasing my two Kids around. I enjoy the outdoors and being in nature. My favorite part of dentistry is being able to work with a great team and wonderful patients. .

I've been to multiple dentists over the years, but none quite like Bream Family Dental. From the receptionists at the desk all the way too the dentist herself, they have been nothing less than amazing ! They treat you with respect and most definitely like family ! Thank you !

They were so extremely considerate, kind and helpful concerning my 95 year old father. I would highly recommend them to all. Service was great and the staff is wonderful. Dr. Terlep Goes above and beyond to please. Thank you all so very much for your help and thoughtfulness.

I used to dread going to the dentist, now I just dread dental work. My husband, daughters and I all go to Bream Family Dental Care and love knowing that we're treated with care and compassion, despite the fact that at least three of us are neurotically afraid of dentistry. Dr. Terlep is just the right kind of funny, Terri always remembers little details about us and their dental assistants are always kind and friendly. The dental work is good too, we've never had any issues with any of the work done. I highly recommend them.

I have been a patient of the Bream Family Dental Practice for many years. And, I have had numerous dentists in the years prior. But, I have to say this practice is the VERY best anyone could hope to find. All are totally professional, highly knowledgable, and very courteous. What you find here is a SUPERWOMAN team which adheres to the highest standards of excellence. You could not be in better medical hands. I rate them a 12 out of 10! They couldn't be any better!
