Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I would put zero star if I could, very low costumer service, I was 10 late to my appointment and the secretary saying, Dr is not sure if she can do anything for you today! Everyone knows dental work is not a 10 minute job. Anyway I got there and I had to assign the office to my insurance and had to be on the phone call for next hour to get insurance approval and once everything is done, she's saying oh we can't accept you in today! Doctors will not see you today even though she knew it's a emergency matter and I might go through infection and complications if she doesn't see me today. Btw the office was empty when I was there. They are not caring at all, they don't care to help you or if you are in pain and need immediate assistance.

Everyone knows that Dentists on an HMO dental plan are bad. The good dentists charge cash or have a contract with an expensive PPO because they can meet the high standards required. However, I thought, "It is just teeth cleaning, how bad can it be?" Turns out they are worse than I imagined. Their office is not organized, they blame each other for mistakes, or worse they blame the "temp" for anything that is not done right. HMO dental offices are the bottom of the barrel and this one is the bottom of the bottom of the barrel. The clerk Debbie and the "office manager" do not know how to schedule procedures properly, communicate, or open adobe files. Since they cannot open files they resort to the "You have to have xrays" which everyone knows is just a pretext for being able to tell you everything that is slightly wrong in order for them to bill more to the insurance company and patients. When I asked the office manager to write her name and title she said "I don't have a pen" as a pen was right next to her on the desk. So I said "Uhh..you have a pen right next to you." She said "Yeah..well..." So this is what you can expect as a new patient if you make the mistake of going here. Incompetence, rude clerks, and saying they accept xrays taken less than 6 months ago..then the day of your appointment they call and say. "You have to have xrays". I called my HMO Dental Plan who told me to file a grievance which I will be doing. Waste of time.

I have been coming here for about 12 yrs. Dr. Gaffino and her staff have always been friendly and professiomal. The X ray tech is patient and cheerful. The dental hygienist, Shawna is extremely kind and incredibly thorough. So impressed with her meticulous cleaning job. Best cleaning I had in years. Office manager, Noemi is very helpful and nice. Dr. G. is highly knowledgeable and trustworthy. Thank you all for another great visit as always.

Everyone at this office is patient, kind and helpful. I no longer have dental insurance and it's been a couple years since my last cleaning, so I was worried! But everything went great, they have low costs (my whole appointment was $120 for X-rays, cleaning, consult w dentist and an add-on rinse to help with my teeth issues!) and they have a super affordable yearly plan to stay up to date with cleanings. The dentist answered all my questions, was very kind and friendly and it felt like I'd been going to her for years. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and friendly, I'll be coming here from now on.

So disappointed I had an appointment I waited 6 months when I got there it was canceled. I took the day off of work and they told me I had to reschedule. This was the receptionist mistake and should be delt with .I never canceled appointment. They also had sent me a confirmation of appointment. So unprofessional So dentist office called and told me they had an opening the next day.what part didn't they understand I took the day off today and it's hard getting fat off I work for a hospital. They sure didn't care. Will not be going back there. IT'S BEEN A FEW MONTHS ALREADY AND NO RESPONSE FROM OWNER ON REVIEW. THE FRONT OFFICE IS THE PROBLEM THERE

Very disappointed with my visits to Brea Dentists. The dentist did not listen to my needs and decided that she wouldn't allow me to receive a routine cleaning. They really need to consider patients over profit, and have lost several customers in the process. Don't go here unless you like being upsold and spending money on out-of-pocket expenses your insurance won't cover.

Extremely friendly, understanding, and nonjudgmental staff from top down; the office is professional, clean, and provides many services or the latest technology built to help and improve various patients circumstances or treatment plans. It is fairly easy to schedule appointments or emergency visits to an office conveniently located less than a mile from I-57.
