Dr. Flath has been a member of many dental associations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and both the Oregon Dental Association and Washington Dental Association. He is also involved in many local dental study clubs. Dr. Flath pursues continuing education in all modern aspects of dentistry, and is currently pursuing a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction very few dentists achieve. Away from his practice, Dr. Flath enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 young children. As time allows, Dr. Flath enjoys fishing, backpacking, motorcycling, and other outdoor activities.
Mary has been a dental assistant for 30 years and graduated from OHSU. She's worked at BravoSmile for 13yrs. Her hobbies include camping, hiking, sewing, spending time with her grand kids. She has 3 dogs, Zoey, Riley and Brody.
Heather graduated the dental hygiene program from Lane Community College and obtained her Bachelors of Science degree from Portland State University. She's been a hygienist for 9 years. Her hobbies include sailing, hiking, camping, biking, fishing and pretty much anything outdoors. She also fits in time to play with her dog, Hobbes.
Lauren has a Bachelors in Hygiene from USC. She has been with our practice for over 7 years, demonstrating her extensive periodontal knowledge in dental hygiene. Lauren also works part time at a periodontal office often treating patients with advanced periodontal disease. Her patients have come to appreciate the care and passion she has for educating them in their oral and general health issues. When she's not working out at the gym, she stays heavily involved in the Arts.
Amanda has worked in the dental field since 2001 and spent 14 years working as a dental assistant before deciding to change course and train as a Clinical Coordinator. She loves the patient interaction at the front desk and is always ready to help you out. Amanda enjoys spending time with her friends and family enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest while camping and hiking.
Marina has lived in Oregon since 1974 when she began working at Oregon Health & Sciences University. She spent 8 years working in the Periodontology Department at the School of Dentistry and close to retirement she began working in the dental practice. She enjoys reading and house-sitting.

Dr. Flath and his staff are the absolute best. Dr. Flath is extremely gentle and skilled. Always available as well. The hygienists are Top notch, too. Overall an excellent dentist; the best I've ever had and at 62 I've been around.

Dr. Flath is friendly, kind, gentle, meticulous and mercury free. I've always felt well cared for and respected by him, the hygienists, and all the staff at Bravo Smile. It's a very professional practice. Parking is easy and convenient.

The office manager Mary is VERY pushy!!!! I feel she not only runs the office but she runs Dr. Flath too. He appears to be a great guy and knows what he's doing but she definitely calls the shots (pun intended). After my last visit I won't be going back.

My front tooth came loose after getting an implant over two years ago. Dr. Flath was able to see me the same day his office learned about it and fixed my tooth problem the same afternoon.

Super nice and empathetic Dental Hygienists! Dentist seemed nice enough but it was a short interaction with him. Only not 5 stars because of some billing confusion I'm experiencing. I asked about how much my dental insurance would be taking off the total of the bill and they said they'd have to check that and that they'd email me that with the bill and how to pay it. It's been about a week and a half and I still haven't gotten an email yet so it's just makin me a lil anxious

Bravo Smile with Dr Flath's staff is always a pleasure. From the friendly and easy way of Chris at the front desk to Heather the dental hygienist answering all my questions about dental plaque vs. tartar, what causes gum recession and even the most recent research on tooth brushing. Stellar care and great staff all around!

Excellent Dentist! I was a new patient and the team made sure everything ready when I got there. They took x-rays gave me a thorough exam and cleaning. The Dr. was great and so was his team. I'm really happy I chose this office.

Great experience with this dental office. Front office is very helpful and very kind. Chris goes above and beyond which does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. The dental hygienists are gentle and very thorough with cleanings and make the process easy. Dr Flath is a fantastic dentist. He really cares about his patients and it shows. I definitely recommend this dental office! Great experience all together!

I have nothing but good things to say about these people! I have gotten my teeth cleaned and a minor repair on a chipped tooth here. Each time I went in, I was actually excited to see everyone. They are so friendly and pleasant. I even got some great food recommendations from Chris at the front desk, Whats more... I left feeling like I got an amazing clean and a super solid (and very efficient) repair. Really top notch all around. So happy to give these guys a 5-star review. They absolutely deserve it.

I'm really picky about dentists due to some bad experiences many years ago. I found Dr Flath to be extremely knowledgeable and got to the heart of my tooth issue right away. He laid out the options and all the pros and cons of each. Very professional, personable dentist. Did a great job and he is my go to dentist for me now.
