I have been a part of Braveland since 1997. I love my co-workers and really enjoy spending time with them and chatting with patients! My husband and I have lived in Savage for over 30 years. We have two adult children and two grandchildren. They all live nearby so we can spend a lot of time together! My interests include shopping, cooking and seasonally decorating my home.

Originally from the Brainerd area, my husband and I have lived in Savage for over 30 years. We have three adult children and four adorable grandchildren that I love to spoil! Spending time with family is a top priority for me. I also enjoy trying new recipes, decorating my home and creating things in my free time.

Originally from S.E. Iowa, I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene for the University of Iowa in 1987. I worked in many dental offices all over the country while my husband served in the Navy. In 1998 we left the Navy life and settled in Apple Valley, raising our three children. When I am not at work I enjoy photography, singing and spending time with my family.

Braveland Family Dental - General dentist in Burnsville, MN

I started working at Braveland Dental in 2014 after taking time off to be a stay at home mom and feel so fortunate to be working with such a great group! Although I loved having the opportunity to spend so much time with my children, I couldnt be happier working in the dental field again. In 1992, I received my Degree in Dental Hygiene from Mankato State University. My hygiene experience includes periodontal (gum disease specialist), small private and large group practices.

My husband and I live in Bloomington with our two teenage children and two dogs. I enjoy bicycle riding, cross country skiing, camping, hiking and kayaking when Im feeling active. When Im feeling like a couch potato I like to read a good book or binge watch Netflix.

I started working at Braveland in 2018. However, I am not new to the office as my family and I have been patients for 20 years! I graduated in 1984 for Normandale Community College with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Hygiene. I worked in Hygiene for 23 years before taking a break to pursue other interests. Im happy to be back in the dental field!

My husband and I are both from this area and raised three children and are looking forward to spoiling grandchildren one day. Some favorite passions of mine are dancing, reading, game night with family and hiking the North Shore.

My husband and I have lived in Lakeville for 24 years and have three adult children. We are also blessed to have three beautiful grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, gardening, reading and taking care of the three little ones two days a week!

I have had some troublesome experiences prior to seeing Dr. Mark. And have some very troublesome teeth! The folks at Braveland were able to put me at ease, and Dr. Mark took a conservative approach with me, which is exactly what I needed. I am able to ask the questions (instead of fear based silence), and I get the options I need to make the right decisions. Dr. Mark has saved my smile twice now....he's not allowed to retire!

You have to be Brave to go to Braveland. After a quarter century of bringing my family to this office, we have left. Like others' reviews, someone wrote, "can't take it anymore." Before I get to the worst fear horror story, know that we have endured a number of mistakes and these dentists were always gracious about admitting their mistakes, fixing the problem, and re-doing the work for free. But who wants to go through those shots and that work again and take more time out of their lives? (Examples--redo a crown, or wrong-colored filling on a front tooth, or bite problems after some work.) We were always friendly with the dentists and never complained. Then came the last straw.--Not believing me when the anesthesia wore off and continuing to drill into the tooth. I have never, ever had this happen before. But Dr. Mark said that the anesthesia was supposed to last two hours and it had only been 1-1/2 hours so it couldn't have worn off. Really? Everyone's body reacts differently. I informed him that I was starting to feel the drilling and it was a sharp pain. But that couldn't be, so he kept going. Then I stopped him and told him I could feel it even more and it was awful. But no, it couldn't be. He said he would hurry. I was in such shock and disbelief that this was happening, that I didn't even get the wherewithal to stand up for myself. It was happening so fast. I gripped the chair arms with all my might. Then it got to the point where I could feel everything. Every time he put the drill on my tooth, my head automatically jerked with unbelievable, excruciating pain and the drill would fly against other teeth as I screamed out in pain. He did this three more times! I'm in disbelief that this is even happening and imagining that I'm going to be sent away with a painful hole in my tooth so I have to endure it. But since it became impossible to continue drilling, he rolled his eyes and said he would give me another shot of anesthesia. For over two decades I had always had such friendly conversations with him about our children and hobbies and travels. And then he rolls his eyes at me? His assistant must have been horrified watching this happen. While they were waiting for the new shot of anesthesia to take, he talked to her about personal activities coming up in their lives. Like nothing happened. Like I wasn't there. I left knowing that I would NEVER be back. It has taken me quite awhile to have the courage to go to a dentist again. And I found it frustrating to have to look after spending all of my adult life with this one dentist. But a great one I have found! When the new dentist wondered why it has been quite a bit over one year since my last appointment with my old dentist, and I told the story, they were appalled. I was told that they heard of stories like this happening to people back in the 1950s. They also said I would have experienced PTSD from that incident. Yes. And grief. I was told that I would never have to worry about that happening again. Someone else wrote on their review here that they were sick of the unfriendliness of the place. This is true. There is one office person who is always nice and another one who always sounds angry and short. Even when she was simply leaving a message for an appointment reminder. Good luck and avoid this place. I'm sorry about whatever is going on in their lives or practice for them to become so miserable.

I've been going here for 20 year's and it is the best Dentist I've ever been to. I've only tried two other places out and they were no where near the quality of service this place offers. I still go to this dentist even though I moved and work 200 miles away from here.

I have been coming to this dentist office ever since I was a little Kidz Bop. Usually after a visit, I feel like I can go and eat room service bread without any issues, but after today's visit, I fear that I can no longer do that. In one of my teeth, I developed a special kind of cavity, one that develops after eating too much scented hand lotion. This cavity is widely known as the Carbonaro Effect, which is also the name of a hidden camera magic TV show, like the one you are on right now.

I have been going there since I was a teenager maybe even when the first opened up even before they moved to this location and the expansion of the place there at now. It has been roughly 27 years that I can remember and I wont go any were else. Both brothers have worked on my teeth over the years and never ever had any issues with there work.
