Dr. Bratten was born and grew up in Smyrna. His entire professional career has been spent in his hometown. He has been active in youth sports, Rutherford County boards and his professional organizations. He was chairman of two county boards and on the state board of the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2003 he was awarded Mastership status from the Academy of General Dentistry. Only one percent of dentist are Masters which is based on a lifetime of continuing education in dentistry. In addition to these organizations he is a provider volunteer in the Dental Lifeline Network and Interfaith Dental Clinic of Rutherford County. He provides his services for free to both these organizations which help deserving individuals who can not afford excellent care.
Dr. Bratten has dedicated his life to treating his patients just as he does his own family. Always aware of the newest technology, but careful not to be influenced by aggressive advertisement of unproven products, which can be quite misleading to the public.
Vicki is a native Californian and a recent transplant to Nashville, TN. She graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2003 and has enjoyed being a dental hygienist for over 14 years. In her free time, Vicki likes to spend time with her family and friends and help serve at her local church. Her hobbies include, baking, gardening, sewing, and traveling. Vicki and her husband live in Brentwood, TN and enjoy spending time with their 6 adult children and their adorable grandchildren!
Billie was born and lived most of her childhood in San Diego, CA. She served in the U.S. Army for 8 years. She graduated college in 1990 where she finished in the top of her class academically and clinically. She has enjoyed working for Dr. Bratten for the past 23 years watching her patients grow. Away from the office, Billie enjoys training for her 4th half marathon, volunteering at her church and raising her two children Elle and Carson. She and David have been married 23 years.
Janette is a native of Smyrna. She and her family live in Murfreesboro in the Blackman community. She attends church at New Vision Baptist Church. She has one son, Bryson and has been married to her husband Paul for 21 years. Janette began working with Dr. Bratten in August of 1993. She truly feels that the patients are family and tries to make each one of them comfortable with every procedure. She enjoys dental assisting now even more than when she started and truly feels that dental assisting is her calling. Janette has enjoyed working alongside Dr. Bratten and the many things that he has taught her. They both take great pride in the restorations they deliver to their patients. Whether it be a small composite filling or changing someone's smile completely with veneers, the same amount of perfection is given to each patient. In Janette's spare time, she enjoys the occasional shopping trip. She likes to go camping with her family and spending time outdoors. Janette also enjoys travelling. Her favorite places to travel are to the beach and Disney (Orlando area). She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
Samantha Bush is also native to Rutherford Country and she lives in Eagleville. Sam graduated with a degree in Dental Assisting from Tennessee College of Applied Technology in August 2015. She is very excited about her career choice and getting to work with Dr. Bratten and the other staff members. Her main goal is to make sure anyone in her company leaves with a smile. Sam is very active and loves spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Amanda is a Rutherford County native. She grew up in Smyrna, TN. Her family became patients of Dr. Brattens when she was about 5 years old. Amanda began her career in 2010. She attended Adirondack Dental School in Ballston Spa, NY. She assisted at an Oral Surgeons office and a private practice. After 2 years, she decided to go to Dental Hygiene School and graduated from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY in 2015. Outside the office Amanda attends The Experience Community Church where she serves in the Childrens ministry. She has a daughter Keaton and she enjoys running.
Margaret has lived in Rutherford County for over 30 years, and has been in the Dental field for over 25 years. She enjoys our patients and getting to know them. She is married to Mark and has one son, Seth. She is the mom to 3 wonderful dogs, Sadie, Sophie and Diesel. Outside of work she enjoys running and working out.

The whole office is wonderful, Dr. Bratten always does a great job, makes you feel at ease. Billy always does a great job cleaning my teeth, you know you have had your teeth cleaned when you leave they look and feel so clean. Thank you all for your team work

Was assigned a new dentist without explanation. He decided I needed dental work costing $3600.00. He said there were 2 options but when I asked for pricing, was only given one price for a list of items that meant nothing to me.I do NOT want this dentist and I believe I have a right to choose. I have regular appointments every 6 months and find this rather sudden to need this much work. I don't know anything about this new dentists' experience. After posting the previous comments I received a call from Dr Bratten's office offering a further explanation. They clarified the procedures suggested and were courteous in explaining pricing. They felt that I would NOT like the other options. At least I understand and have scheduled the work to be done by Dr Bratten personally. I appreciate when people do what they can to make things right.

My experience with Dr. Bratton and his staff was wonderful. I had a root channel and was expecting a lot of discomfort afterwards but remarkably there wasn't any. Second visit, a crown and again no pain! I'll never go anywhere else.
