Chad Brantly, DDS is a unique kind of dentist. He takes a gentle approach, easing any concerns you might have by providing valuable patient education. As a graduate of Abilene Christian University in biochemistry, he went on to extend his education, receiving his doctorate from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Hes a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and an officer for the San Angelo District Dental Association.
Dr. Brantly was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to San Angelo in 2011 with his wife, Dr. Elisa Brantly. Dr. Elisa Brantly is a Urologist at Shannon Clinic, where she enjoys a vibrant and growing practice. Dr. Brantly and his wife have two beautiful daughters that are the light of their life.
Dr. Brantly is continually striving to offer the best possible care to his patients and is a self-described Continuing Education Junkie. He is graduate of the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, the premier dental continuing education center in the world, with a focus on advancing dentistry through science. This allows Dr. Brantly to stay at the forefront of the latest advances in esthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Brantly has also received certifications in oral sedation and nitrous oxide as well as Invisalign orthodontic therapy.
Courtney has several years experience in the dental field and her passion is customer service. She was born and raised right here in San Angelo! Courtney is married and mother of two boys. Her husband is a teacher with SAISD. She enjoys spending time with her family and getting involved in her childrens activities.
Jackie has been with our practice for over 8 years and takes pride in making sure we all stay on task. Prior to joining the dental field she worked in banking for 10 years. Jackie enjoys spending her time outside the office with her two kids and five grandkids.
Laura grew up in Petrolia, TX and moved to San Angelo in March of 2013. She is married to Graham and they have a daughter, Lainey Ray and a new baby boy, Grey. Outside of the office, Laura enjoys family time, crafts, and especially making hair bows.
Lili has been in the dental industry for over fifteen years and worked with Dr. Brantly from the start of his practice. Lili received her certificate in dental assisting and an Associates degree in Applied Science Dental Hygiene from Howard College.
Nichole joined the Brantly Dental team in August, 2015. She graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. Nichole strives to provide comfortable, yet thorough care while focusing on patient oral health education.
Nichole grew up in a military family and lived all around the United States and Japan. Following college graduation, she moved back to San Angelo to be close to family. Never expecting her stop in San Angelo to be permanent, Nichole soon met her future husband, Chris, and her plans changed. In 2014 Nichole and Chris were married.They enjoy traveling and cooking new recipes together. They are members at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in San Angelo. In Nicholes free time she enjoys working out and spending time with her boxer, Woody.
Ashley has twelve years experience in the dental field, and ten in pediatrics. She has volunteered with Doctors Without Borders at Cayos Cochinos Clinic in Honduras and Aloha Medical Mission Clinic in Hawaii. She is happily married to husband, Darren and they have four sweet dogs. Outside the office she enjoys traveling the world with her husband to scuba dive. She is an avid runner and competes in local charity runs and triathlons.
Candy is a Registered Dental Assistant and was welcomed into the Brantly Dental family in 2013. She received her training in the United States Air Force and served on active duty for 8 years. Candy has over 18 years experience and is passionate about creating a friendly and relaxing environment for our patients.
She has a large realm of dental responsibilities that include assisting, office ordering, OSHA compliance, and equipment maintenance. Theres nothing she cant handle. Her hard work and dedication keep the back office running smoothly and efficiently. Her passion for people and attention to detail make her invaluable to our patients and our dental team.
The military has taken her and her family all over the world, having lived in Alabama, Nebraska, England, California and South Korea before settling down in San Angelo. She has been married to her husband Robert for 16 years and they are blessed with two children, two Boxers, and a cat. When not working, she enjoys volunteering in the community, baking, and quilting.
Dr. Brantly comes from a family of doctors and dentists, and he understands what it takes to provide excellence in service. He believes in continuing education, accumulating more than 150 hours of it inside of 18 months, so that he is up-to-date on how to provide you the best treatment available. As a result, he was voted Best of San Angelo 2013

This is the most professional, caring, friendly dentist office! I highly recommend either dentist as I have found both (I've seen Dr. Brantly and Dr. Lawrence) to be very competent, thorough, and kind. The front office is the greatest! If you are looking for a dental office that you can trust for utmost quality care, I highly recommend Brantly Dental.

HORRIBLE.. they trick u saying they do take insurance but AFTER I saw the dentist (who was nice) then I was told that they don't take insurance. They try 2 force u take this dental hygiene kit (that I refused multiple times) Hit me with a monthly fee for it. Called because I'm moving and they keep telling me the Manger will call me back. Never does. After multiple times.

I am a new patient of Dr. Brantly and he along with his staff have been very welcoming. He provided me with an affordable Wellness Plan and answered all my question. His dental hygienists made me feel comfortable which put my mind at ease. I appreciate the great customer service from his office staff. I have waited a couple weeks since my encounter to give myself time to think about what happened. I had been going to this dentist for a couple years, ever since I moved into town. Their office is nice and the people seemed nice. They were a little pushy and weird about me using the toothpaste and rinse that they gave out "free" apparently as part of the cost of their service (more on that later). It was odd to the point that if we wanted to use a different tooth paste, they recommended that we brush twice in one session. Once with whatever toothpaste we wanted and again with theirs. I found this to be strange, but no big deal. They were so pushy about it that we eventually got a buildup of the dental kits; we still have 5 or 6 in our closet unopened. We had to stop accepting them, though they would try to make us take them every time we visited anyway. Again, weird, but nothing overtly nefarious. If only we knew. They had a monthly and annual payment plan that I really liked, it seemed affordable and the establishment seemed nice. My wife and I really liked the place. At first at least. I had several persistent dental issues that they just couldn't solve and they even got to the point that they were blaming me and my habits for them, even though I adhered to their instructions, they seemed suspicious that I was failing to do so. None of their recommendations seemed to help and the pain and problems in my mouth only worsened with time. So, I started reading and was able to solve all of them with very little cost using over the counter products in the span of two weeks. If I could do that myself, what did I need them for? I decided to try a different dentist as a consequence and called to cancel my treatment plan. They did not let me do it over the phone insisting that I needed to come in and have a consultation to, and this is a direct quote, "make sure that cancelling was what was best for me." I had to take a day off work to accommodate them. After the consultation, they informed me that they may owe me some money because I had paid for services that had not yet been rendered. I appreciated this, thanked them, and left. Though it was weird and a little annoying, that didn't seem so bad. At least until they called a couple hours later to inform me that they were very sorry but actually, I owed THEM money, and it was a lot of money. They had apparently made a billing error and never billed me the last year, though I had automatic payments set up I was never informed that I owed anything. In addition, I apparently owed them for "products my wife and I took". As if we stole them or something. Anyway, I squared up simply so that I could make a clean break and I did not want to risk having to deal with a collections agency. It hurt, but was worth it so that I never have to deal with these guys again. They seem nice, at least at first. Avoid them though, especially if you feel that you will ever want to see a different dentist. They my dig up some money that you owe them as well. I will not recommend this place and I will share this story with anyone who asks and even a few who don't until the day I die.

Over 5years and this practice sent a small balance to a collector. I havent ever even received statements, email, or calls informing me of the balance. Despite when I visited I provided my insurance at the time which should of covered 100%. They are sloppy and cause damage to credit without informing the patient.

I took my 4 year old son here today, he had a bad previous experience at another dentist office. I can't say enough about the dental hygienist Nichole, she was amazing with making my son feel comfortable and great at communicating with him what they were doing. Dr.Rhodes was also wonderful and made it easy for me to understand what the next steps we needed to check. I left feeling reassured that we had great support with this office and that they genuinely care about the care of my son.

I've been seeing Dr. Brantly since he started here in San Angelo. Him and his staff are always very friendly and work together seamlessly for an excellent and pleasant experience. On top of that, he provides the best quality dentistry you'll ever find.

My family and I love Brantly Dental. The ladies are all so nice and friendly and they work hard to make each appointment convenient for me and my three small children. My kids LOVE going to the dentist and are always so well taken care of. It's crazy trying to get your teeth cleaned and examined with three little children and the women at Brantly make it so easy on this momma to get the dental care I need as well. So grateful for this office and the people there.

McKenzie is 12 and has been seeing Dr Brantly and his crew for over 4 years, they always go above and beyond to ensure her dental cleanings go smoothly. Because of their encouragement for at home routines she has been in the no cavity club for several years!!

We had a great visit to see Dr. Brantly. The staff was courteous and professional, and my teeth feel great! I loved being able to watch TV while my teeth were being cleaned. This was also my 3 year old daughter's first visit to the dentist. She was treated like a princess, and she even asked to get her teeth cleaned again the next day. I am glad that Dr. Brantly will be able to provide dental care for my whole family.

Brantly Dental was absolutely AMAZING for me. I called early in the morning for severe mouth pain. They set up an appointment that morning within 20 minutes of the phone call, and even got me another appointment with a surgeon that same afternoon! I'm emotionally sensitive about my teeth. So when I broke down during the discussion, they were so kind and carin . Every worker i came across was absolutely wonderfu . I look forward to using them in the future!
