Greed is causing the US health care system to be unaffordable. fees were not disclosed for example, Absurd amount charged for an ice pack?!?! if that was told to be before given ice pack i would have said no! this place is horrible i paid money to get surgery done because i was told this is what it cost with my insurance. then after sugrery was finished got a bill said i owed more money? Thank you for your response below owner. Why should you bring my intellect into a customer review? you must be the type of person who calls others unintelligent to make themself feel better. 1. thats good for you to choose the field that you are doing! and you know upfront of the cost, time, and energy to pursue that. 2. i absolutely understand the cost to run a business in todays environment, apparently you to not know how to cut cost and run business more efficently. Thats call i can say on the operation side of your business because i do not know the full scope. 3. The review was ment to show that you should be more upfront about cost to paitents (using the ice pack example of how i was not told upfront about it, if i had known i would have just brought my own). would you as an intelligent person pay for anything if you do not know the cost upfront? you got so upset by this review and to brag about your experience of helping people seems unnecessary. 4. USE YOUR EMPATHY TO CALCULATE HOW PEOPLE WOULD FEEL TO PAY A RIDICULOUS COST OF SOME OF THESE MEDICAL FEES.

Great experience overall. After having a horrible experience elsewhere. I have been to both locations. Staff at both offices are kind and answer questions. They seem very organized and care about your issues. Will be going back for another implant shortly. I would not got anywhere else!

Absolute joke. This is my first google review because of how irate I am. Where do I begin? I could sit here and write paragraphs about my traumatizing experience and how I was referred to this office because I was told Dr. Famiglio is fantastic, but I didn't even get the chance. I called a month ago for an initial consultation because my dentist screwed up a wisdom tooth extraction and have a broken wisdom tooth that needs to get taken out. The first oral surgeon I went to did not take my insurance so I needed to go elsewhere. This is urgent due to the fact that I am at high risk of infection and need this taken care of ASAP. I was told to go online and fill out a patient questionnaire, email them my license and insurance info. 5 business days went by without a call back. I followed up and was told I should be the one reaching out after completion. Ok, fair. When following up to schedule, I was told a Shelly would call me back to schedule. Another 5 business days went by, still no call. I then follow up, again. This time I am told an office manager named Laura will call me. Ok, fine. Keep in mind, I live in Jersey City and was willing to travel 2 hours to make sure I had a doctor I was told I can trust. I then just followed up again, another 5 business days later. This time, I get a hold of Laura, who says "oh, after looking at your situation and what I've been told (never spoke with her or the doctor), we think you should go to Penn Medicine and have it done at the hospital. Oh really? I have a broken wisdom tooth in the back of my mouth and it took 4 weeks of constant follow up to be left with that? A full month after trying to schedule and get proper care, I get told to go to another facility and doctor? I couldn't believe it. I am now at risk of infection higher than ever with no doctor to see because of the incapable people that work for Dr.Famiglio. I asked if I can speak with the doctor or at least an explanation of how they came to this conclusion without seeing my x-rays or evaluating me. She then started to personally insult me and I'm just going to stop there because I'm sure he's a great doctor, but the people there are unbelievable (nicest way to put it).

I have ALWAYS received THE BEST CARE at Brandwyne Oral Surgery. Able to get in quickly and after a long time of neglecting my issues..I finally faced the music and made an appointment...ZERO shame and nothing beneath them while being uplifting and kind as they formulated a plan for success!!

Dr. Famiglio is a rare find. He actual cares. Very compassionate. Really excellent and great patience with patients who are scared to death like myself. I have had many bad dental experinces in my lifetime so I went in shaking and came out a believer that dental visits Don't have to be aweful. It started with the front desk....so sweet and the assistant kind and soft spoken followed by the doc who will talk about anything....so much so you forget why you were there in the first place, I am guess he does this to distract the patient and put them at ease, I worked for me I ended up undergoing a complex dental implant surgery over the past year, got a stellar result and I would not hesitate to recommend this doctor.

Dr. Famiglio came highly recommended. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Office staff was rude and condescending. Dr. Famiglio's visits with my kids were brusque and very assembly line. When he prescribed my daughter a pre-op medication I told him repeatedly that she is allergic to, I cancelled both my kids' appointments.

Amazing. Amazing bedside manner. Incredible providers and support staff. Every single person I've encountered at this office has been friendly and kind, and gone above and beyond. Any one of them individually would be worth logging in to leave a five-star review, making it extraordinary that everyone associated with that office is so great. They must be doing something right because everyone working there seems relaxed and happy. I went in about a month ago for a consult, and earlier today for oral surgery. I saw the same providers (surgeon, and who I'm assuming was an EFDA) both times. I am more anxious than the average bear when it comes to dental work and/or anticipated pain, so I thoroughly appreciated the feeling of security I got by seeing the same familiar faces when I went back in for my procedure. I was very nervous about the surgery/ anticipated subsequent pain, and started tearing up in the chair. I'm not proud of that, but it is what it is. Both Dr. Famiglio and his EFDA (I wish I could remember her name because she was really great) noticed, and reassured me there would be no pain during or after, then distracted me with funny stories while the anesthesia kicked in. 10/10 bedside manner, and so very much appreciated. After I woke up they took me to a separate recovery room, and covered me in a blanket with a pulse monitor to ride out the anesthesia. I fell back asleep, and when I woke again a while later was already surprisingly clear-headed. They brought my husband back for me, and came in to give both of us some aftercare information. They showed him where to pull up the care so there wouldn't be a curb, and then one of the employees took my arm and walked me all the way to the car, even helping me in and buckling my seatbelt for me. Amazing. I'm following their care instructions and doing well. Tonight I received a follow-up call from Dr. Famiglio himself to check in on how I'm doing/pain level, and to see if I have any questions. He encouraged me to call in if I have any questions. I was stunned at that added personal touch. I couldn't be more impressed with this office and everyone who works there. Truly. I would never willingly go anywhere else, and I highly recommend this office to anyone who needs oral surgery.

Dr. Familglio and full staff truly impressed me with their kindness and professionalism.. I'm not usually compelled to review but I must share how AMAZING Dr. Familglio and staff are at Brandywine Oral Surgery. I went there full of anxiety yesterday as I had to have a very tedious and delicate procedure done involving my gums. Dr. Familiglo talked to me the whole time, comforting me meanwhile further educating his well prepared assistants. They were impressive as a team to say the least. The cherry on top, was when Dr. Familglio called me that evening to follow up! That's a first for me. Truly the most personable yet professional medical service I've received. Lastly I'll mention, I have multiple stitches in my gums and I did not feel a thing!

Dentist is ok, office staff is horrible, unprofessional and just down right rude. I have never given his office a good reference and never will. He continues to not check his staff and have them be more customer service and patient friendly. If you like rude and ugly, you'll like this office.

I had a limited amount of time for my consultation. When I made the appointment, I confirmed that I had a limited amount of time for my consultation. When I arrived at the appointed time (12:30 they told me on their robo-call reminder) I reminded them I had to leave by 1:15. At 1:15 when I had to leave, one of the technicians indicated that I had arrived late. I was not late. If I'm going to spend at least $1000 out of my own pocket, I expect to be seen on time. Other than that, for the 5 minutes I was able to spend with Dr. Famiglio, he appears very competent and personable.
