Dr. Brandon Magill attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona with studies in chemistry and microbiology. He then went on to Temple University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree over ten years ago. Dr. Magill completed a one-year, post-doctoral AEGD residency through the US Navy Bureau of Surgery and Medicine at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. For four years after dental school, he worked as a dentist in the US Navy Dental Corps and was deployed with the US Marine Corps to the Al Anbar region of Iraq for eight months to serve the dental needs of the joint armed forces there.
Dr. Magill has been practicing in upstate New York since 2008, in areas from Albany to Syracuse to Watertown, New York. He purchased this practice in 2013 from Kevin Hickey, DDS, who had run the practice at this location since the late 80s until his retirement in 2013. Dr. Magill looks forward to serving patients at this location for many years to come. He regularly attends classes both at the Spear Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona and at the New Jersey Health Professionals Development Institute near New York City, New York to stay abreast of the latest developments in dental technology, techniques, and products. Dr. Magill is a member of the Syracuse CERECDocs Study Club, and he volunteers as a supervising dentist for the SUNY Canton Dental Hygiene Program in Rome, New York. His highest goal is to provide treatment that is both comfortable and personalized and to leverage the most current dental technologies available to achieve that. He focuses on utilizing CEREC one-visit crown technology to give patients same-day repair of dental problems.
Rachele Manitta is our dental hygienist. She thoroughly enjoys caring for patients, building a dental and personable relationship with them. She strives to make each and every patient have a welcoming, educated and pleasant dental visit. Her gentle nature makes her a favorite with the patients. Up to date on the most cutting edge practices in the field of dental hygiene, she is certified in the administration of nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. Rachele had a desire to make Dr. Magills office her professional home after her first visit to the office due to the modern work environment and great team atmosphere. She arrived at Dr. Magills office with 14 years experience in dental hygiene and 20 years in the dental field. She attended Stony Brook University and is a 2001 graduate of Farmingdale State College on Long Island. A native Long Islander, Rachele relocated to CNY in 2009 to improve her quality of life and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. When not caring for her patients, Rachele is married to her husband and they have a dog. She is a lover of the outdoors including gardening, hiking, fishing and snowmobiling.
Cindy worked with Dr. Hickey at our practice for 21 years, and she has been working with Dr. Brandon R. Magill since 2013. Her favorite parts of working at our office are our wonderful patients, our great team, and the interesting variety of her job. Having worked at our office for over 20 years, Cindy has an extensive knowledge of each patient and their needs, and she has a passion for her job and for helping people every day. Cindy regularly attends continuing education with Dr. Brandon R. Magill so she stays current on the latest tools and techniques in dentistry. She has attended numerous advanced trainings on color staining of dental restorations, allowing her to properly mimic our patients natural tooth color, seamlessly blending them into the natural appearance of their smiles.

Dr. Magill was recommended to me by a well-respected dental professional when I needed a tooth restoration. After years of enduring impersonal, assembly-line dental care utilizing equipment "long in the tooth," my first experience at Dr. Magill's office a few years ago was a refreshing change. Numerous visits later, for additional restorative work and general dental care, I've found that Dr. Magill and his assistant explain every procedure thoroughly. I've been fascinated by their skillful use of state-of-the-art technology and believe they have a genuine concern for the quality of their work and my complete satisfaction. I've never been disappointed. The same holds true for Linda's thorough, professional approach as hygienist. I never thought the day would come when I'd say it's a pleasure to get my teeth cleaned! Add to this a convenient location, personable front desk staff, a spotless office environment and reasonable rates; I've found a team committed to high standards and one that I hope to continue to turn to regularly for dental care.

This place is fabulous. They make you feel comfortable going there. No matter how long it has been since your last dentist appointment they will make you feel right at home and treat you with respect. Brandon was great about working with me to ensure I could get the procedures needed to get back on track. Would highly recommend this office.

Dr. B Magill and his professional staff went over and above the call of duty to put me at ease during a recent procedure (crown). When I received an appt reminder call the day before, I expressed my anxiety regarding the procedure and the associate spent 5 minutes putting me at ease that everything would be explained along the way, and suggested I bring my ear buds for distraction during the dreaded drilling parts. When I arrived for my appt Dr. Magill told me he heard I was anxious and reviewed the treatment plan by explaining my x-rays and pictures of the teeth that needed work. Dr. Magill answered all my questions, presented all my options and made sure I felt comfortable going ahead with the work. I was encouraged to ask for breaks, more anesthetic, or any more questions several times during the procedure. I really appreciated their patience with me, I never felt uneasy, or as if they were rushing to get to the next patient. I highly recommend Dr. B. Magill and his staff for the high level of care and compassion they deliver.

Dr. Magill is a great dentist. I have a low tolerance for pain and my procedures have been painless. He doesn't do unnecessary dental work either unless warranted. Even though it's a distance to drive there from Liverpool - I will do it because he's worth every mile! His staff is friendly and courteous & Linda is a super hygienist too. I highly recommend Dr. Magill to everyone!

I had my 6 month cleaning this week. The appointment was on time and Lynda was very professional by explaining why each procedure was necessary. Lynda's warm personality made it easy to relax during my cleaning. Dr. Brandon Magill has been my dentist for 2 years and has saved me much money as compared to another dentist regarding an unnecessary procedure. I recommend Dr. Magill and hygienist Lynda as your dental team.

Beautiful bonding by an exceptional dentist! While visiting family in Manlius in August 2014, I needed bonding on one of my front teeth. Not only was Dr. Magill able to see me almost immediately, he performed the best work I have had to date! The cosmetic procedure was done efficiently, effectively, and is absolutely beautiful! Everyone notices the difference, and I feel and look ten years younger! I highly and completely recommend Dr. Magill for these reasons and more - in addition to his quality and affordable work, his staff is professional, accommodating, and highly skilled.
