Dr. Goates completed his dental education at Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry, where he graduated clinically in the top 10 in his class. Dr. Goates graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry & Spanish.
Dr. Van Dyke attended Weber State University and graduated with bachelors in Clinical laboratory Science. She then chose to continue her studies to become a dentist at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

Dr. Goates was raised in Utah and settled with his family in Arizona to enjoy the sun. He and his wife have been married for 24 years and have five children. He enjoys spending time with them, attending sporting events, golfing, slaloming & most things outdoors. He is an avid University of Utah fan and so is the family.
Dr Van Dyke shares our strong ethical approach to patient care and agrees with our emphasis on high quality dentistry. She truly believes in the importance of continuing education and is currently obtaining education in Botox administration for TMJ pain related patients and Dermal fillers for added cosmetic esthetics.

I have loved Dr. Goates! I was recommended him by a friend. She was absolutely right when she said that he was the best dentist she'd been to! He is very kind and always takes a few minutes to talk. The staff is wonderful and the hygienists are considerate and fun.

We found Dr. Goates through a coworker's referral. I was able to schedule an appointment within a week. The entire staff treated me like family. We found out my fiancee had an issue with her tooth. They were able to schedule her an appointment the same day. They treated her like gold and referred her to a specialist. They took care of finding her an appointment immediately. This will be our family dentist from here on out. Thank you Dr. Goates and staff for everything. If anyone in the Chandler/Gilbert area is looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Goates.

Absolutely the BEST dental office I have ever used. I am never stressed about my visits like I used to be. "No one likes going to the dentist" is what I used to say. Now I recommend Precision Dental to everyone! Warm staff explain everything and set your mind at ease. Infinity stars, not just 5

I had my cleaning done this past week. As usual, Precision Dental did not disappoint. My wait was short, my hygienist was thorough, and the staff was friendly and professional.

The staff is always friendly and the office runs smoothly. Very pleasant and soothing atmosphere with high tech equipment. Dr. Goates is the best, he's highly skilled & very personable. My teenage boys truly enjoy going to the dentist, that says A LOT!!! We Precision Dental.

Dr. Goates is a great dentist. He is very easy to talk to listens to your problems. Staff is very friendly and makes sure you feel comfortable and understand all procedures before moving forward. Best Dentist I have seen!!!

I've been seeing Dr. Goates for several years now. The entire staff is fantastic and always treat you like family. They are very good at what they do. Dr. Goates is the best dentist I've ever seen. He takes his time with each patient and makes sure you are comfortable and aware of what is taking place or needs to be done. He treats his staff like family and rewards them for their service to community.

What a world of difference a good dentist can make! A whole great office as a matter of fact. I definitely did not enjoy the dentist based on past experiences but this office understood and helped me through that and have been making my teeth look great & making my dental health a priority. Dr. Goates is an excellent, kind, extremely professional dentist who cares about his patients and his staff is equally phenomenal, caring, and professional. They never lecture, only inform & encourage. They never make you feel rushed or dismissed. Gilbert is so lucky to have Dr. Goates office here! (Ps- I know some of you might be doubting this glowing review..but I have had all kinds of bad and mediocre dentists so I know what a gem a great dentist with an excellent staff is!)

When you are in a hospital room with your sister because of a fractured root, and either the dentist she saw Friday caused it, or didn't notice it, that garners a one star in my book. My sister and I, WERE patients of Dr. Goates. Every tooth I had him work on, he has had to do twice, so I changed dentists. My poor sister is learning the hard way. Make an informed decision, and don't let "nice" fool you.

Dr. Goates and his staff are professional, kind, honest, and caring. He did an exceptional job on my teeth. His office is gorgeous. I felt very welcome and completely at ease. Everything was wonderful and he will continue to be my dentist for years to come. He is the best dentist out there.

I highly recommend Dr. GOATES. He is the only person I trust to work on my teeth. He has been my dentist for 10 plus years now and he will continue to be my dentist for many years to come. Dr Goates has been our dentist for 10 years. He's the most reliable and honest dentist we have ever been to. My husband had a 40 year old bridge in rhe front of his mouth 4 teeth bridge. He had a cavity under the bridge and we had to finally redo the bridge. We couldn't be more happy with the turnout. Oh my goodness my husband can finally smile with same color if teeth and they are uniform all around on sides etc...Dr Goates does amazing work and his staff are also the peak of best. We would never go anywhere else. Please make yourself an appt today!
