I grew up in Harrisburg, PA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salisbury University. I later moved to Charleston South Carolina, where I obtained my Dental Hygiene Degree from Trident Technical College in 2020. My fianc, Dr. Stephen Brand, and I met in Charleston while volunteering at a dental clinic for uninsured patients. Our passion for dentistry brought us together, and we decided to share that passion with the residence of NEPA. I love this career and all that it has taught me. I cant wait to share what I have learned over the past years with my new patients. There is a complex relationship between the systemic health and oral health of everyone. My mission is to not only educate my patients on the importance of their oral health, but how their oral health relates to their health overall! Outside of the office you can find me enjoying time outdoors with our puppy, Ellie, crafting, and daydreaming of our next trip down South! The ability to contribute to our family-oriented practice is what I love most about Brand Dental.
Hello! My name is Merissa. I grew up in Dallas, PA and have lived there for most of my life. I graduated from Kings College with degrees in Spanish and Theology. I have a passion for helping others and look forward to serving our patients every day in getting their dental needs met.
While this is my first job in the dental field, I am eager to learn and grow, especially with the team at Brand Dental! Outside of the office, I spend most of my time with my husband and our two dogs. I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, and reading.
My name is Joslyn Spencer and Im from Canton, PA. In 2020, I graduated from Susquehanna University with a degree in biomedical sciences. Before that, I worked the summers and winters at my local dental office as a dental assistant. Seeing first-hand, the transformations we can do for patients smiles has led to my passion for dentistry. It is so rewarding to watch our patients confidence increase because of their smile! In my free time, I like to be with my family, friends and pets.
My name is Mykayla Timek. I recently graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at LCCC. Im excited to be working in the dental field to help educate and meet new patients. Hi my name is Brianna Mazur. I have recently relocated to the Hazelton area from Pittsburgh to continue my journey as a Dental Assistant! I absolutely love what I do! A few weeks ago I had horrible pain in my mouth. My regular dentist told me I was fine and it would go away. The next day the pain was excruciating so I called urgent care. I was told they don't do tooth problems but gave me the name and address of Brand Dental. I walked in and they fit me right in. By the time I was done with the paperwork they called me back. An xray was taken and the problem found. Dr. Brand pulled the bad tooth and I even got called a few days later to make sure I was ok. I've found my new dentist and couldn't be happier. Everyone is super friendly and talks you through what they are doing or what needs to be done.

I tell you I had my share of dentist ,however I must say the staff is Courteous and excellent I love my dental hygienist she has a hand like a goddess love her I will continue my visits @Brand dental for as long as they take my insurance that will be my number 1 dental place Great job.

I cannot say enough about this place!! They got me in immediately for a dental emergency as a new patient. Since the procedure they have been nothing but kind, thorough and accommodating. The environment is very welcoming and the facility is immaculate.
