A dental implant is an artificial tooth that acts like a natural one. Its a long-term solution to replace one or more missing teeth. A dental implant replaces the entire tooth, from root to crown, and offers important benefits, like increased stability, durability, and aesthetics.
The root of a dental implant is a small, post-like device made from titanium or titanium zirconium. It is inserted into the jaw bone in place of a missing tooth root, and acts as a support for an artificial tooth crown.
The healing phase lasts between 3 and 12 weeks, depending on the individual medical situation. During this period, the implant becomes securely attached as the jaw bone grows and bonds with ita process called osseointegration. Once healed, the artificial root acts as a base for an individual crown, multi-tooth bridge, or an entire dental prosthesis.

I called Branchview Dental this morning for what I thought was a broken tooth. They got me in same day, did x-rays and found it to be an old filling had come out. Checking out was simple taking only a short time to review my insurance and set me up to have my filling replaced. After seeing so many professionals lately who seem miserable in their jobs it was nice to see smiling faces.

I am admittedly the BIGGEST 52 year old baby when it comes to dentist. I have used Branchview for several years, we recently moved over an hour away and I still drive to Concord because I know Dr. GONZALEZ will NOT hurt me... the whole staff is incredibly understanding and compassionate. They definitely understand the fear (irrational as it may be) and they always help me calm down.

Brandi is the bomb!! Met Dr. Gonzales today and really liked her. She was pleasant, kind, gentle and knowledgeable. I've been a pt with Branchview since 2008 when Dr. Persinger was the only dentist. He's the best and I miss seeing him for checkups!! I highly recommend him for cosmetic dentistry!
