Elly has enjoyed over 17 years of being a dental hygienist. She graduated from TAMU Baylor College Dentistry in 2004 and has worked in many office settings including several general offices, a pediatric office, as well as the Department of Veteran Affairs.
When you walk through the doors of Branches Dental, youll feel right at home. Whether youre in the reception area or the procedure room, youll be treated with warm respect and offered every comfort along the way. We provide convenient amenities to our patients including a play area for kids, a coffee station, as well as TVs and headphones during treatment.
We love connecting with our patients whether theyre children visiting for preventative pediatric care or adults seeing us for corrective procedures. No matter the reason for your visit, we always take the time to explain the details of your treatment, answer any questions you may have, and offer affordable options for care.
Dr. Nilesh Thakkar loves giving back to his community, and he sees dentistry as a way to provide care while building lasting relationships. Hes always been drawn to the familial aspects of dentistry and feels honored when he gets to watch his patients grow over the years. Throughout his career, Dr. Thakkar has been involved in school programs to educate children about oral health and he has also visited nursing homes to provide care for elderly patients.
Hes honest in his recommendations, and will always keep you and your familys best interest at heart. Dr. Thakkar is committed to constant improvement and growth through continuing education. He has his Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and is currently working towards his Mastership.
Dr. Thakkar likes to relax by watching soccer, although supporting Liverpool is anything but relaxing. He stays active by hiking, running, and exploring the outdoors. Dr. Thakkar is also a proud alumnus of Marquette University and follows their basketball team.

Branches Dental is breath of fresh air. They were very friendly, courteous and professional. The office was clean and well run and I was in and out in no time even though I piggy backed on my son's appointment slot. It is truly like visiting family I am never looking forward to go back to see my dentist but Dr. Thakkar and Branches Dental team has changed all that. Thanks guys! Israel

I am blown away by the service and care I received at Branches Dental. As soon as I walked in, Jasmine made me feel so comfortable and was incredibly helpful with getting everything filled out right away as I am a new patient here. Katie was very knowledgeable about my x-rays and made me feel at ease. Dr. Thakkar was also quick, kind and made everything easy to understand. He answered all of my questions with clarity and I left my appointment feeling thankful that I found this place. Highly recommend and will continue to come back!

Dr Thakkar is an amazing dentist that makes me feel like an old friend. He is kind, compassionate, and encouraging. He doesn't try to push unnecessary and expensive procedures on me which is something I've experienced in the past with large dental chains. Ellie, his dental hygienist is knowledgeable and professional. She explained everything so well and really helped me feel informed with my oral health. The rest of the staff were so nice to me and my son and I'm happy taking my whole family to Branches Dental.

I hate to write this because the doctor is so nice but here it goes... he and his team are fine for cleaning services but he did a horrible sloppy job on dental work that resulted in me paying double to get it corrected elsewhere (he maxed out my dental benefits so to correct it wasn't covered.. at all). I also had 2 teeth I told him about that I could feel chipping away on the gum line. I asked him to look at them and he said they were just "watch spots" 2 weeks letter I lost the entire front lower side of one tooth and a week later the other tooth. If they chipped away that quickly they weren't just watch spots.. they needed attention immediately. Reply to Dr Thakkar- I already gave you the opportunity to correct the work. I came back in and left in almost the same shape. It's all been corrected now by another dentist.

There is so much I loved about this office! I love the fact that they became family, they recognized me if I called or walked in the door. Literally the only dentist over ever felt comfortable with. My kids loved them as well. (Ages 3/11/14). Very sad we moved and had to leave them behind. I couldn't recommend Dr. Thakkar and his staff more!

Seriously the best dental experience I have ever had. I have really bad anxiety about going to the dentist, and this place absolutely wiped that out. Last time I went to the dentist I was sternly lectured/borderline yelled at over poor oral hygiene, but everyone at Branches was so friendly and made me feel so at ease. It was a very simple "Here's what we found, and here's how we're going to fix it", and then took the time to answer any and all questions I had. It speaks volumes to the level of care that everyone here has that I am going back for a followup appointment in 2 weeks, and have absolutely zero anxiety or fear

Everyone made sure that I was comfortable and understood everything they were doing while I was in the chair. I admit that I have had some pretty bad experiences sitting in a dentist chair, however, Branches Dental turned that around for me. THANK YOU!!!!

I finally found my Dentist! From beginning to end the service I received today was top notch. Jasmine was super sweet and excellent in accessing my benefits, confirming my appointment and helping me fill out my patient forms online. Katy is Dr. Thakkar's assistant. Super sweet, gentle and efficient. She made me feel like I belong there. Dr. Thakkar was very nice. He was very conservative, gentle, informative and I really felt like he had my best interest at heart. I highly recommend Branches Dental!

Excellent, competent service. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable in working to make the most out of your insurance.. The office is very, very clean. The dentist was very helpful in giving an overall plan, and explaining the steps to complete it. No nonsense, get-it-done service.
