I have 2 children who LOVE going to the dentist because this team is the BEST! Dr. Devi and Dr. LaPena have always taken the time to keep my girls calm, explained what they would experience, answered any questions and honestly- asked questions to get to know them which I think is so important because it established a good relationship. I've moved away from the area but still drive 35 mins to take them here because I can't imagine taking my kids anywhere else. The staff have also been super helpful and accommodating. Very nice on the phone and always try to get answers from insurance or send over any xrays over to Orthodontist.

WARNING: this office claims to understand and be able to serve special needs children. THEY DO NOT have a true understanding. The front office staff was incredibly blunt and uncaring the moment we arrived for a filling visit for my 10 yo daughter. While this was the third appointment to this clinic in a week, no one had ever mentioned that there were apparently special restrictions for COVID where anyone 5 and over could not have a parent with them in the treatment room. This was not explained in advance, nor implemented during my 2 previous visits during the same week. We came back for a filling visit with my autistic daughter and I was told she would have to go back by herself. Due to anxiety this is not a possibility for my daughter and she would not go alone. The dentist would not proceed until either myself or my 5 year old daughter moved to the waiting room (alone and unattended!) My daughters both started crying as neither option was not going to work for us. The dentist knew from the previous appointment that my daughter has ASD. The dentist advised me that she had the opportunity to "evaluate" my daughter and felt that she could "handle" her without me in the room. My daughter, during this explanation is terrified and saying, "No, No, No." The dentist did not care that my child did not want to be left in the room alone. We left without their services and were told to come back when I could find a babysitter for my younger daughter (again, this had not been told to me in advance/before the appointment!). Let's just say that the entire visit was traumatic to both of my daughters to say the least. They are both shaken, more fearful of the dentist. We will not go back. AVOID THIS PRACTICE if you want a dentist that takes the time to understand your child and your families needs.

GREAT experience - couldn't be happier! My 3 1/2 year old had a great time and was so happy! They really got to his level and helped him choose "flavors" and prizes that had him so excited. Dr. Lapenna was so great - she showed him and explained about every tool before she used it - let him touch it and did a "practice" before she worked. Very informative to me as well as what she was seeing. I'm so grateful we found this practice and know my son will be excited to go back! Actually that night going to bed he asked "Mommy, tomorrow can we go back to the dentist?"

Dr. Devi and her team are amazing! I have four children that see her. One of my children required more dental help than the others and Dr. Devi coached me through everything. She is a very knowledgeable doctor who cares and really takes her time to get to know you as a family and your dental needs and struggles. Jasmine, the dental hygienist is great with my kids, and Cathy at the front is always a pleasure to speak with over the phone and is very helpful with billing. We feel very comfortable going there, it's like family. I recommend this doctors office to anyone.

My girls hated the dentist until I started taking them here. Now they ask when is the next time we can go see them! The staff and dentists are truly amazing with the kids!

I had an appointment today for my kids today. My appointment was at 5.40pm. I religiously reached the place at 5.30pm and called the front office to inform that I am waiting in the car. Front office person , Jennifer by name , came out at 6.01 pm. And said she will take my kid inside and parents not allowed. Agreed because of safety concerns. When I asked if I can wait in waiting room, she said waiting room is full. Should I understand that they are not giving limited appointments I said I need to talk to doctor about my concerns before my kid gets in room for check up. She said that I cant talk to doctor but doctor will talk to me after check up is done. I said that doesn't make sense. I want to let doctor know about my concerns before doctor checks not after. Front office lady , Ms Jennifer was so rude in replying and said that you can reschedule based on your convenience and walked away. That was so absurd and ridiculous behavior. In this pandemic, when they open for business, they should be well prepared in letting patients in. Moreover they need to be even more organized especially for smaller kids who doesn't know how to say the problem is. RUDE AND IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR BY MS. Jennifer is NOT acceptable at all. At this confused situation, she should know how to think out of the box and not sticking to checklist.

Dr Lapena and Jasmine are awesome with my kids. My 5yr old had cavities filled today. They were patient and explained every step of the way. We were not rushed and they went at my son's speed. They do a great job with staying safe with COVID. It is a difficult time for us all but I certainly appreciate them being open and putting themselves on the frontline in order to care for the kids. The front desk ladies Kathy and Jennifer were attentive to my kids and made sure they safely got a prize. They always do a great job and I am so grateful for them. Thank you Thank you Thank you!! I highly recommend them.

Dr Lapena and her staff were amazing to us before we even had our first visit. They went above and beyond to take such care and concern to review x-rays and records from another dentist and fit us in when we had urgent issues. We are very grateful for their knowledge and compassion and child centered practice. Their dedication to children really shows and we couldn't be more appreciative.

It's been a very pleasant experience, they did an am amazing job for my 6 years old. Good hospitality. It's a very kids friendly enivironment. My son loves to go here.

Love taking my special needs kid to this place. Both doctors are so patient and make the kid very comfortable. Also they are very knowledgeable and creative with working around special kids.

Very good experience of visit there. Dentist and staff are professional and treatment plan is reasonable. Could give five star but want to leave some space to grow even better.
