Dr. Branca's passion for the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery fuels his desire to provide the highest quality and most comprehensive oral surgical care. His goal is to utilize the most recent research and technology to provide the best treatment options for his patients available today.
Dr. Branca began his education at S.U.N.Y College at Oneonta earning a degree in Biology and Chemistry. He then completed four years of dental training at NYU College of Dentistry followed by a one year General Practice Residency and a one year Oral Surgery Fellowship at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Branca was then chosen to join the four-year Residency Training Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center during which time he completeda surgical rotation in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Zurich in Switzerland.He earned his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2003. Dr. Branca has been in private practice for over a decade providing the highest level of oral surgical care to his patients.

A very pleasant office with congenial, customer service-oriented staff. The doctor was personable and highly skilled. He was very generous with his time as he presented the options/next steps to me. Finally, several hours after the procedure he called me at home personally to check on my welfare.

Two of my kids have been patients here. Dr Branca and his assistant make sure both me and the kids understand all procedures. They take the time to answer all questions. The front desk staff is nice and they seem to have immediate appointments if you'd like to get in quickly. I would recommended this oral surgeon!

I had an abscess tooth and researched local Oral Surgeons. Not only was Dr Branca wonderful, his staff was great, too. He made me comfortable and took his time when he saw I was frightened. He even personally called to check on me. A "hot tooth" extraction that will get an implant in the future

Dr Branca and the staff made a very unpleasant experience (tooth extraction) as easy as possible and painless! My only negative is that the online form to fill out up front is ridiculously extensive. That said, I would still recommend this practice.

I called Dr. Brancas office for a problemed tooth extraction and was given an almost immediate appointment by his staff. Dr. Branca was very thorough explaining everything that applied to my situation. Very professional along with his staff. I will be returning for an implant after the area is healed. Dr Branca and team are the BEST! As a young old guy in my early 60's I've had my share of dental/oral work and for pulling teeth and putting in implants, my third one with him coming up, there is no better! And he introduced my wife to her new dentist across the hall from him and they're great too, Dr Weimeyer, your one stop teeth fix shopping on the south shore!

I would like to highly recommend Branca Oral Surgery. Last February 2020 I had to have a tooth extracted and started the process to go ahead with a dental implant. This was my first experience with this kind of procedure. Dr Branca and his entire staff were very professional on every level. They were supportive, kind and caring at every step of the way. I can't thank everyone at Branca Oral Surgery enough!!! I had an emergency with a wisdom tooth. They got me in for an appointment right away. Got an xray, they explained what was going on, and the tooth was removed in about 30 minutes. And on top of that, they were all so nice!

Dr. Branca is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He is patient, kind, and truly concerned that you do not suffer any pain. His staff is also wonderful. They are cheerful, welcoming, and will stretch the limits to make sure that you will promptly receive the treatment that you need. Dr. Branca also called me the evening of the day that he had pulled my tooth to ask me how I was feeling. How many doctors do that? Honestly, if you have a choice as to which doctor to use, choose him. You will not regret it.'

#14, a back upper molar had to go. The cap fell off and the root, from a previous root canal 30 years ago, was broken. I was dreading the digging and prodding that was sure to follow. But my worries were totally unfounded. The procedure took a mere 20 minutes after novocaine. No pain, no suffering. Dr. Branca definitely knows what he's doing!
