I built my practice in the spirit of health, well-being, and happiness. Our comprehensive dentistry encompasses an overall systemic health approach, meaning we make decisions that are beneficial for your oral and overall health. This could range from smile makeovers to restoring your bite. By giving this outstanding patient care, we make you the ambassador for continued growth and success.
Our practice consists of four parts: cosmetic dentistry, reconstructive dentistry, general dentistry, and implant dentistry. We can treat any portion of your dental health, from complex cases to routine procedures.
I am a 1983 graduate of The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Dental School, University of Maryland. Prior to practicing as a Waldorf dentist, I graduated from dental school with honors in prosthodontics and endodontics and was elected by the schools faculty to Whos Who among dental students.
My greatest accomplishments include my Accreditation status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and becoming the 39th member to be awarded Fellowship in the AACD - the first in the State of Maryland. As part of the AACD, I received the Presidents Award (2010), Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry Education Award (2015), and was inducted into the Hall of Fame (2020). Sincere thanks also goes to my peers for selecting me as one of the 'Best Dentists in America' and 'one of the Top Cosmetic Dentists' by the Washingtonian in each Top Dentist edition since 1997.
My education and accomplishments show I am dedicated to helping each and every one of my patients. I am an active member in the American Dental Association (ADA), Maryland State Dental Association (MSDA) and the Patuxent Dental Society (PDS). I served on the AACDs American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry from 2008 2011.
Dr. Olson is a fabulous professional and incredibly talented in making a smile look natural and perfect. I have been very happy with my porcelain veneers for more than 10 years now and would recommend him to those who want the best!
Every patient deserves a healthy smile, which is why we take time to donate our dental services to those in need. We participate with two charitable events: State of Marylands Donated Dental Services and the AACDs Give Back a Smile Program.

I have been a patient for over 20 years. Dr. Olson is a great dentist who is very skilled at what he does. His dental hygienist are also awesome. Also, the office is spotless and the technology is top notch. I highly recommend for your dental needs...you want be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Olson's for over ten years. I have had several emergencies and Dr. Olson has always got me in as soon as possible to take care of the problem with great advice on what to do until the appointment. His staff is always professional, helpful and very competent at their jobs. Best dentist ever!

My husband and I first started seeing Dr. Olson many, many years ago. The entire staff is friendly, professional and thorough. The office is comfortable, clean and state-of-the-art. They have added additional equipment and procedures to protect patients and staff during the pandemic. My sister-in-law, a dentist with fastidious standards, who practices in another section of the country, has examined the work Dr. Olson and his hygienists have done on us. She says keep going there - they do good work. Can't beat that recommendation!

One of the things I want in any medical office I go to regularly is to develop a relationship with the staff. I found Doctor Olson after scouring Washingtonian's Top Docs, and I've been seeing him ever since (many years now) for my regular dental checkups. My wonderful hygienist is Cindy, and despite the fact that she only sees me twice a year, she knows exactly what my issues are and how to make the visit as comfortable as possible. I've also had some repair work done (onlays, crowns), and Dr. Olson is excellent. He's also a genius with Novocaine shots, so if that's a worry, have no fear! The office itself is a nice safe space, small and quiet, and their attention to Covid protocols is the highest. The staff are lovely and very personable, and they all look out for me. If ever a trip to the dentist could be called "nice," it would be at this office.

I've been seeing Dr. Olson and his wonderful staff since 1996. Even though I have to drive over an hour to see them it has always been worth it! Fantastic people, great care, and really professional office set up. I have had every procedure possible and Dr. Olson's always been there for me!

Dr Olson became my dentist when after 12 years with an orthodontist it was determined the best treatment option for the final phase of work was to put in a fake tooth. He has been my dentist for over 15 years now. I drive from Crofton because he & his office always go the extra mile for me. I don't trust anyone else with my smile!

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Olson for more than 30 years. He is very friendly, professional and highly skilled. He is up to date with the latest techniques and materials in dentistry. I have been seeing Dr. Olson for several years now and he has done some beautiful cosmetic work for me. However, most of my time in this office is for regular checkups, cleaning, and fixing problems as they occur. He's always available when I need him. All of the staff are highly trained and friendly. The doctor has put a lot of work and money into protecting patients and staff from the coronavirus. I'm very happy with this practice.

Saw Dr Olson years ago for a broken tooth...very bad experiences with active duty dentists while in the Air Force...He put me at ease and fixed my molar with a crown...and have been going to him about every 3 months since 1997...will see no other dentist.
