Brad, a native of Williamsburg, Virginia, obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Medical College of Virginia and went on to graduate as a Doctor of Medicine, with honors, from the University of Florida. Dr. Cherry completed his general surgery internship, anesthesiology training and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Florida, in Gainesville.
Dr. Cherry is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Florida and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Northeast Florida; the Florida and American Dental Associations; the Academy of Osseointegration; and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Cherry maintains his certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Cherry is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has an active Florida medical license and maintains hospital privileges at Baptist Medical Centers (South and Beaches) and at Wolfson Childrens Hospital where he serves as a surgeon on the Cleft Lip and Palate Team. Brad enjoys traveling, running and basketball. He and his wife, Joanne, have two sons.
Theresa has been in the dental/medical field for a combined total of 18 years and cant imagine doing anything else. Theresas attention to detail allows her to be successful in her chosen career. Theresa also loves meeting patients and giving them a sense of ease as they get ready for procedures they may be unsure of.
Theresa was born in Binghamton, New York, but moved to Florida when she was 11. She has a family that she loves dearly: a husband of almost 18 years, a 15-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son. They love to travel to Guatemala about three times a year, where they are a part of a ministry/mission organization that invests in helping the poor. Her life is centered around her children and their activities, and she wouldnt change it for the world! Theresa feels blessed to have the opportunities she does on this Earth and takes advantage of it by exercising, reading and going to the beach.
Mary brings more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Her expertise in processing medical and dental claims will help with any issues that arise with your insurance plans. Mary is more than happy to contact your insurance carrier on your behalf to help resolve any questions or concerns.
Mary relocated to Florida 10 years ago from Maryland. She is the proud mother of four with her husband, Kevin, and grandmother of two precious granddaughters. Mary joined our team in 2008 and works hard to keep the office running smoothly.

I wish we could give more than 5 stars for Dr. Cherry and his team! My son is severely affected by autism and needed his wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Cherry treated him with respect, talked directly with him, and made him feel at ease. Dr. Cherry and office organized the extraction to take place at Wolfson's Children's Hospital. Everyone worked together to create a plan that would be safe and successful for my son. Because of their meticulous attention to detail and planning, my son sailed through the surgery and recovery with ease. Thank you Dr. Cherry and the entire office staff for being so understanding, accommodating, and autism friendly.

All I have to say Dr Cherry is amazing. He explains everything and makes you feel comfortable about procedures. Everyone that works with him is the perfect combination of professional and personal. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. The office is inviting and ver clean as well. Total package for sure. I recommend 100%

I had a growth in my mouth that another oral surgeon said was benign. However I wanted a second opinion. When I got to Dr cherry he was extremely arrogant and said he couldn't even find the lump and dismissed the other doctor completely. I have had this lump now for two years and there's no question it exists. Dr cherry had a terrible attitude and was completely incompetent.
