Thomas J. Bower D.M.D is a Haverhill native and attended Haverhill Public Schools. He went on to graduate with aBA in biologyfrom Holy Cross College in1985 andearned his DMD degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in1989. Although most general dental services are provided in house, Dr.Bower has several specialists in oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics including invisalign services to whom he refers. Dr. Bower's 20+ years of experience makes him an expert in his field and his caring personality fosters a deep trust and relationships with each of his patients.
Tracy has been a practicing hygienist for over 20 years. After graduating from Forsyth's School of Hygiene in 1997, she has worked with an array of teams and joined the Bradford Dental Care team in 2001. For almost 18 years, Tracy has consistently provided delicate, precise and accurate care for our patients - as evident from her patient and our team's feedback. Graduating from Middlesex's Dental School of Hygiene in 2007, Heather worked with a few dental offices prior to joining our team in Summer 2008. Dr. Bower is great a communicating what's happening next and what to expect. This was my first major tooth issue (root canal/Crown) and it was a breeze. In addition EVERY time I've been there they' have been on time- and I've been a patient for years.

I had started going to Dr. Bower a few years ago with Devon as my hygienist and I was so happy to have finally found a dental office where all the staff was so unbelievably friendly and kind. Devon had left the practice and unfortunately I was put with another hygienist, who was not terrible, but nowhere as friendly and attentive as Devon. Unfortunately, I was a few weeks late paying a $40 copay. I had payed the $40 payment and when I tried booking my next cleaning, Wendy had told me that my insurance was not activated and i could not book for a cleaning. I spoke with my insurance company, and they told me they never were inactive so they were also unsure as to why Dr. Bower's office could not book me for my cleaning. Today I called and spoke to Laurie where she told me because I was late on my $40 payment (which had not gone to collections) they decided to remove me as a patient of their practice. I have Delta Dental/ BCBS of MA Preferred PPO plan. It's not as if they weren't being paid top dollar from my insurance company. I was removed as a patient for a $40 late co payment. I went from referring this practice to everyone I knew looking for a dentist and I will not recommend this practice to anyone and be sure to let the word be known to everyone I have been recommending.

First visit, saw Tracy for a cleaning. She was very attentive and most importantly gentle. I didn't get to meet Dr Bower yet but will next time. Office is beautiful and staff very accommodating.

Everyone at Bradford Dental Care is responsive and caring. When I had a problem, they got me right in, listened to my concerns, and set up a well reasoned plan of care. Tracy is excellent--calm, reassuring , and clearly knowledgeable in her field. Dr. Bower treats you as a whole person, instilling confidence that he has considered what is best given individual circumstances. The office staff is welcoming, friendly, and supportive. I'm very happy to have them as my dental team!
