Its hard to predict what events will impact a persons life most. For Brad, an accident during his teen years planted a seed that eventually grew into a fulfilling career. Dr. Moss recalled, I was a pole-vaulter in high school. After clearing my personal-best height of 13 feet 6 inches, I landed wrong on the mat and nearly bit off my tongue. After many stitches and weeks with a swollen tongue, it eventually healed. But Brad walked away with a new perspective on the ability to communicate.
Now, Dr. Moss finds himself at the helm of a thriving family dental practice with a seasoned stafffront desk, assistants and hygienistsand an ever-growing patient base that often includes three or four generations of the same family. Preventive care is a hallmark of our practice, he said. If we can educate our patients about proactive tooth and gum care, we can help them preserve natural, healthy teeth for a lifetime. If we make a trip to the dentist a friendly, enjoyable experience, people are more likely to be diligent about all-important cleanings and exams.
Dr. Moss has had the privilege of treating patients for over 27 years and is humbled when he gets the chance to care for patients who return for care, even after theyve moved out of state. Dr. Moss believes that the patient/doctor relationship is one built on mutual respect. This begins with respecting his patients time, taking the time to discover all his patients concerns, honoring their treatment choices and providing their care in the most compassionate way possible. His patients comfort during treatment is his top priority. Dr. Moss truly enjoys meeting his new patients and spending the time getting to know them, then partnering with them for a lifetime of optimum oral health.
Dr. Moss has been practicing dentistry at his current location in Southlake, TX for over 27 years. He received his bachelors degree from Baylor University in his hometown of Waco. He graduated with honors, receiving his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio. Hes a lifelong student and regularly attends continuing education courses to constantly provide his patients with the best possible treatment options.
Dr. Moss and his wife, Polly, reside in Keller and enjoy family, outdoor activities, and traveling. Dr. Moss and Polly, a registered nurse, are members of a team called Faith in Practice, a medical mission group that travels to remote villages in Guatemala providing dentistry and medical care to under served people there. Theyve made multiple mission trips with the Chenault team out of Houston.
The Mosses have three grown children, and it has become apparent that science careers run in the family. Jacob, their eldest, is a clinical laboratory scientist living in Colorado with his wife, Stephanie, and new daughter, Bonnie. Maggie is an ER nurse engaged to Sean. They both live in Fort Worth. Elly, their youngest, is a physician assistant living in Colorado with her husband, Evan.

Normally I have so much dental anxiety but this is honestly the best dentist office I've ever been too. They always keep me extremely comfortable and make sure I don't want or need for anything. I have continued to go back regularly for the last year, the first dentist office I've found that I think I will stick with! I've been to SO many offices that have recommended thousands of dollars in unnecessary treatment and after getting a second opinion with Dr. Moss I was so relieved. My treatment is affordable and necessary and was explained to me thoroughly. I really love the whole team, Dr. Moss and Polly are are such a great duo Thanks so much guys!

Brad Moss and his staff are the best I've ever experienced when it comes to anything medical. Especially dental which is never fun or anyone's favorite. They treat you with respect and truly care about you as a person and your well being. I never had great experiences growing up with a dentist until I went to Brad Moss 7 or 8 years ago. So to say I highly recommend would be an understatement! Hands down they are the best!

To preface, I want to say that my review is not meant to be unnecessarily critical of Dr. Moss, but I feel like my feedback could be helpful to other prospective patients similar to myself. My husband and I came in as new patients a few months ago to have our routine cleanings and examinations. Dr. Moss' practice utilizes a laser technology to detect cavities and bacterial activity. According to this technology, I had a cavity on just about every single molar and premolar. I have only had two other shallow fillings in my life, but all of a sudden I'm leaving my exam with a treatment plan to fill over half a dozen teeth. I came in to get a couple of sealants a few weeks later, and I spoke to Dr. Moss at that time about my concern regarding the treatment plan. He showed me pictures of the supposed cavities, pointing to dark areas on my teeth and assured me that we needed to get them taken care of ASAP. I personally did not have a good feeling about moving forward with all these fillings, and so I scheduled an appointment with a different dentist to get a second opinion. After that appointment, I was told that my teeth look great and do not need any fillings. The second dentist explained that the dark spots showing up on the pictures are a result of staining. When she scraped each along each tooth, she explained that if there was a cavity, those areas of my teeth would not be hard and strong like they were. I am of course not a dental professional, but the conclusion that I can draw from this is that Dr. Moss saw an opportunity to perform a lot of unnecessary dental work on my teeth, and tried to convince me that he was taking a conservative approach when that was not the reality. The purpose of my review is to give my feedback to Dr. Moss and hopefully help inform prospective patients to make sure they advocate for themselves. I wish I had done all of this before my husband went in for his two fillings. I do want to acknowledge the incredibly helpful front desk staff and the very kind hygienists who were involved in my cleaning. I did not experience any issues with them and felt they were very professional and eager to assist with anything we needed, including helping me walk through some insurance related questions.

I do not like going to the Dentist, but Dr Moss always makes me feel so comfortable and not afraid. Anybody nervous about the Dentist should go see Dr Moss.

The staff is so concerned with your comfort that I feel like I'm at a spa! I had a chip my tooth near the gum. Dr. Moss filled it and no one, including me, can tell the filling isn't my tooth.

Awesome as always. Best dentist ever. Natalia was very thorough, knowledgeable and professional and Betty and the rest of the staff are great as well. The bonus today was Dr Moss' wife Polly....she set me straight on how I should be taking my meds. I took my 3 year old to Dr. Moss for her first appointment. The entire staff was wonderful with her! She had a great experience and is still talking about how much she enjoyed going! So grateful to Dr. Moss and Nancy for making her first dental cleaning a fun and happy experience!
