Hi, my name is Dr. Farooq Ahmad, a California native who grew up in Orange County. After graduating from Tustin High, I attended Cal Poly, SLO and majored in Aeronautical Engineering. My dental education was earned at NYU College of Dentistry and I completed my dental residency at St. Lukes Memorial Hospital in Utica, NY.
I received my MBA from UC Irvine. I am a general dentist who practices orthodontics. My dental office in Vista is limited to Orthodontics, TMJ treatment and dento-facial Orthopedics. I am a member of the California Dental Association, San Diego Dental Association and American Dental Association. After completing my residency, I returned to San Diego and settled in Vista. I opened my first office in Temecula in 1999. After falling in love with the area, our Vista location was opened in 2005 and we have been here ever since.
We love this community and the great relations we have built over the last decade. I am truly blessed to have so many wonderful patients who have trusted us in creating their lasting beautiful smiles. We are always challenging ourselves to learn current techniques in orthodontics and to always improve our patients experience. All of our existing and new patients come to us by referrals. Either from existing patients and families or from other dentists in the surrounding towns.

As a treatment coordinator, my main job is to educate the patient about orthodontics and their options. Ive been in dentistry for 20 years with some back-office experience as well as Assistant office manager experience. I have been an orthodontist assistant for 4 years. I started off as a patient at Brackets Wires and Smiles, later became interested in the orthodontist field, so I went to a program to become a dental assistant. I have been working with Dr. Ahmad for five years. I am currently a full-time student at CAL State San Marcos working on my bachelor's degree for general biological science. I enjoy working with patients and getting to know them and perfect their smile. I love going on hikes and walks on the beach.
