Dr. Efraim Zak attended the New York University College of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He spent additional time and training at NYU to complete his orthodontic residency and become a specialist in orthodontics. He brings with him an extensive background in research, including many awards and publications.
Dr. Zak attends yearly seminars and study groups to keep up onadvanced orthodontic techniques. He has also lectured at dental study clubs on behalf of Align Technology, the producer of Invisalign. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and OKU dental honor fraternity.
Dr. Zak grew up in New York City and now resides in Long Island. He and his wifeSusanhave two amazing children, Justin and Chelsea, who keep themvery busy. When he has the time, Dr. Zak enjoys playing golf, skiing, biking, working out, and going to movies. He is involved with his childrens PTA and supports the Shriners Hospital for Children and research for scleroderma, ALS, multiple sclerosis, cancer, and many others.
I love being an orthodontist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that I've built with my patients and their families are one in a million. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at-home when they come to me for treatment and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.
My education in dentistry and orthodontics has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. I completed my dental education at Tufts School of Dental Medicine and received post-graduate training in orthodontics at New York University School of Dental Medicine.
I constantly take advanced continuing education courses to stay current with all the latest developments in orthodontic research in order to provide my patients with the newest and most advanced applications in orthodontic theory and practice. I am also a member of several professional associations that provide me with opportunities for continuing education.
I am truly blessed to live and work in such a wonderful community. I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families, and it is always such an honor to know that I have made a difference in so many of my patients' lives. I couldn't ask for a better job or for better people sharing their smiles with me. I look forward to working with you.
Dr. Patricia Ortiz is very passionate and dedicated to Orthodontics. She is committed to provide the highest level of care tailored to the needs of each patient. She has great satisfaction helping her patients achieve better oral health and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Ortiz was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She attended University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Cell Biology and graduated Magna Cun Laude. She continued her education at University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus where she graduated at the top of her class, and obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. Dr. Ortiz furthered her education at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York where she completed a General Practice Residency. She then completed her post-doctoral training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Bronx Care Health System.
Dr. Ortiz is current with all of the latest techniques and theories in the practice of orthodontics and strongly believes in attending continuing education courses. She is a Board Certified orthodontist. She is an active member of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Devin Zolnowski was born and raised in New Jersey. He graduated from New York University, where he earned a degree in Economics and was captain of the Mens Varsity Volleyball team. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he graduated in the top ten of his class. Dr. Zolnowski furthered his dental education and completed a one-year general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical center. He then returned to New York once again to complete his specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Maimonides Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Zolnowski enjoys spending time with his wife, playing games, and staying fit. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Northeast Society of Orthodontists.

I love the staff and their professionalism. I always feel comfortable. It's always explained the next process. Bracetown East meadow ROCKS, I am glad I came here, me and my boys have a million dollar smile. OH and the music playlist is fire.

5 out of 5 stars!!! Found you guys because of our insurance, the location is close To home.Today was our daughter's first visit. It was a great first visit... friendly staff the doctor was very friendly with our daughter and recommended she be seen in 6 months for a follow up on possibly starting treatment after her baby teeth were out. Thank you for everything! Found my daughter's Ortho!! see you in 6 months!

I went here desperately to fix my teeth and my upper jaw after i was told by another orthodontist from a different place that i would need jaw surgery and i came here and they gave me hope! they told me i could get a palate expander and that there was a chance of it working and it 100% worked despite my age and my teeth and bite a perfect now!!!! i'm getting my braces off in a month and i haven't even had them on for a year yet, Bracetown Orthodontics gave me a miracle with my teeth that i didn't expect to happen. I suggest anyone to come here and they will serve you right.

Beth a joke wrote a check for $135.00 she cashed it for $635.00 check your statements. Horrible person to be working for the doctor When questioned she stated I don't want to go to jail maybe you should not be in that position.Who makes that statement unless there guilty.

I have had a great experience with Bracetown Orthodontics ,very professional and friendly office from the front desk ,Beth the Orthodontist and assistant.My daughter loves it here.Would highly recommend this practice

The doctor was professional to explain everything. However I consulted the office almost a year ago to do the braces for my 2 children. The rate was very high that would include a pre-separate process that not covered under the insurance. We didn't do it due to the high rate of the extra uncovered process. Almost a year later the office called us to reschedule an appointment so we did and went to the office I asked the person who discussed the payment options if there's a possibility to check with the doctor if we can skip that extra process and just do the braces. We felt the response was not professional and it was not with curtesy. She could have told me that she could check with the doctor and see what the possibilities whether if we can do with it or not. But it was made us felt uncomfortable after asking her that question.
