Dr. Callie Owen Holwegner was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She is truly a hometown girl, attending elementary school, junior high, and high school in Cheyenne before studying at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, followed by her Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and a certificate in Orthodontics, all at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. She is so excited to be back in Cheyenne to share her passion for orthodontics with her patients.
Dr. Holwegner is involved in the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, South East Wyoming Dental Society, and the Wyoming Dental Association. In addition to mastering traditional bracket systems, Dr. Holwegner is able to confidently provide treatment with Invisalign due to her travels to attend courses dedicated specifically to this subject.
Dr. Holwegner met her husband, Mathew, while attending the University of Wyoming and their two sons Elijah and Lucas keep them very busy. In her free time, she enjoys watching and participating in all kinds of sports, especially basketball, golf, and football. Some of her favorite teams include the Wyoming Cowboys, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the Denver Broncos. She also enjoys spending time with her family and West Highland Terrier, Lexi.
Lisa was born and raised in Cheyenne and still calls Cheyenne home. She is currently going to school for dental hygiene. She enjoys drinking caffeine and bowling in her free time. She loves the outdoors and hanging out with her family.
Krista is a Cheyenne native, and attended Central High School. She loves working as an orthodontic assistant. Her favorite thing about working in this field is getting to know the patients, and the technical aspects of their treatment. She enjoys being outside, fishing and spending time with her 2 dogs. Her goal is to further her education in the near future.
Raven is a Cheyenne native as well. She graduated from Central High School. Raven has been part of the Smile Academy team for over a year and is new to Braces Wyoming. She is excited about Orthodontics and eager to be a part of Braces Wyoming! Raven enjoys working out and hanging out with her family! She is currently working to finish her degree in Business & Administration.
Natalie was born and raised in Cheyenne and graduated from East High School. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and doing anything outdoors. She loves to hunt with her husband and loves horses. She also has a Yorkie puppy named Willow.

Absolutely ridiculous I waited 4 months for an appointment only to show up on the day and the receptionist scheduled us incorrectly and we had no appointment. We traveled from out of town and instead of asking the doctor to see us she stone walled me and did nothing to make up for our wasted day of travel and my time off of work. All because the doctor leaves at noon! Nevertheless. Horrible customer service and a waste of time...

I just want to thank you for everything you did for my son. He was always ready to go to his checkups because the staff was so kind to him. We started his process August 21, 2021 and just got his braces off today. Dr Callie explained perfectly what needs to be done to get his two front teeth down.

Just started the process with one of our teenagers and the next one will start soon. Staff explain everything and were very kind. While the prices of braces are ridiculous, Braces Wyoming is less expensive than other locations in town.

I love this doctors office! I used to see another orthodontist in Cheyenne but switched to Dr.Callies office because she is so knowledgeable and friendly. Her staff is also very friendly and always gets back to me within the business day. Highly recommend Dr.Callie to anyone interested in getting braces

My son has been going over a year, staff is wonderful had to go in a couple times sooner than scheduled, and they got us in right away. My child is still in elementary school so its good to know they take good care of him and keep me updated with each visit.

I love Braces Wyoming!!! Everyone is so nice and really cares about making my teeth look better. People there are sweet and have awesome things to say. I have talked to so many people who go to Braces Wyoming and every single person that I have talked to loves it and the people there! It is amazing.
