Every appointment seems like we keep getting explained that their short handed of staff, but keep in mind their quick to cancel or reschedule you if your 5 min late, I am not pleased by their level of professionalism at all i don t recommend them at all for future services.

The wait is ALWAYS long. Doctor is NEVER on time. The last doctor and staff were amazing! I can't wait for my kids braces to be off. Every visit is unnecessarily long!

This place has changed orthodontist over 6 times in the last year. Look at the reviews, they were great until a year ago. They office staff changed, people have no idea what they are doing and they are rude when faced with questions. I work in the healthcare and I am very disappointed in this place. My daughter should get her braces off in the next couple of months or I would switch offices. My younger daughter will be going else where. I would never recommend this place.

Consumer beware! Ever since one of the doctors left July of last year, this office has gone downhill. The people here do not care if they break a bracket or if a wire is digging into your cheek, the answer is always the same: "we will fix it next time", which is usually 6 weeks away. We were told for over a year that they would install a bracket, and it was never done, now we have to wait 6 more months before the braces can come off. It seems to me the TSBDE needs to know of our complaints.

HORRIBLE ALL THE WAY AROUND!! STARTING WITH MEGAN THE OFFICE MANAGER WHO IS RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. USES HER POSITION AS OFFICE MANAGER TO DO AS SHE PLEASES. DR RANDY HAMILTON WHO IS ALSO THE OWNER. I WENT DIRECTLY TO HIM WITH MY ISSUES AND CONCERNS. HE PROMISED THINGS WOULD GET BETTER AND ITS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE. I HAVE 2 KIDS THERE AND EVERY MONTH FAITHFULLY THEY TAKE MY MONEY ARE DOING A HAVE A** JOB. THEY KNOW FOR A FACT ITS A HALF JOB TO KEEP ME QUITE. MY NEXT STEP IS TO CONTACT DENTISTRY BOARD OF COMPLAINTS. PLEASE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AND USE BRACES ON BROAD IN MANSFIELD.

Staff went above and beyond to help my kids today when they by all rights could've said 'sorry, can't help.' Everyone was very sweet, caring, and willing to answer questions. If you need braces, I can't recommend Braces on Broad enough.

Ever since ownership charged it's been a mess. They don't return phone calls, reminders are infrequent, staff is constantly changing, appointments are always running late. I can no longer recommend this office.

When I first started bringing my daughter to this location over a year ago, with Dr.. Machicek whom was there at the time and it was all fine, now they seem to just cancel your appointments and when you call to reschedule they try to give you a month out. This place is going downhill. They don't understand nor respect people's schedules, but they are quick to withdraw the payment each month!!! I should take my daughter elsewhere where they are going to value and respect our time.

Seems when faced with appointments getting dropped off their schedule and now can't get in for a band or wire broken. They schedule 2 weeks out for an emergency repairs. In meantime my child is limited to what he can eat and going through wax to prevent cutting up his mouth due to this. So would not recommend this place. Working on finding somewhere else.

This is an update to a previous review- My son started treatment 2 years ago. Everything was great, loved the Dr, staff was knowledgeable, it was always a happy place to walk into. In the past 6-8 months ownership changed and this place has gone completely downhill. In 5 visits, we have seen 5 different Drs, the front desk has changed several times, and it seems the techs have too. I never recognize any faces when we come in for an appt anymore. On top of this, they seem almost hostile, and I don't get the feeling they have my child's best interest in mind. It feels rushed, they don't inform us of what is going, & when I ask about the treatment plan it's always vague generic answers. I actually don't remember any of them ever introducing themself or letting me know they are the new Dr unless I ask. If it wasn't at the very end of my sons treatment plan, I would have switched to another ortho. That being said, my daughter was suppose to start with them earlier this year & I've instead taken her somewhere else. Oh, and good luck getting them to answer the phone!

Save yourself and do NOT go. Staff is very careless as soon as you enter. They do not respect your appt times. They cancel on you last minute. The entire time about 6 of us were waiting while the nurses were all laughing and hanging out in the front. Next appt they request for us to go in that same day and suddenly say the next morning 10 minutes before appt which I was already there that it was canceled. Extremely unprofessional. Now my son is walking around with only spacers in his teeth and thats it, no braces. Makes me sooo mad. I'm not even sure if I can take my money back at this pt. If you are referred do not go. I will definitely tell my dentist to stop referring there.

I started my treatment almost a year ago with Dr. Machicek. I was so ecstatic to find an orthodontist and staff that were so kind and professional. But after he left, everything went down hill. My last few visits have been so unpleasant. It seemed like every visit I would see a different orthodontist. There were times that I didn't see an orthodontist at all or saw them for less than a minute. The tech that worked on me the last two times has been unprofessional and rude. The first visit I had with her, I had broken a bracket but did not know because the power chain was still holding it in place. Her responses to me for not knowing were extremely rude. The orthodontist I had seen previously stated that during this next visit, they would change the wire to close up the gaps on my top teeth and have me start wearing bands again. This time I had a different orthodontist who I had never seen before. The tech tried to remove my top wire and after several attempts of yanking at the wire, she was unsuccessful. I left this appointment with the same wire on top. No different treatment was done and my teeth didn't shift at all during those weeks in between appointments. I felt like this just prolonged my treatment plan. This second appointment, she volunteered to switch spots to work on me because she said the other tech wouldn't know how to work with what I had. She stated that she could not find the correct tool to remove my wires so decided to use whatever tool she had in the moment. After attempting several times, she had to ask another tech to assist her which I was fine with. When it was time for her to place the new wire, I was jabbed, pinched and poked multiple times and not once did she apologize even when my facial expression was clear that I was in pain. She asked me what color I wanted. I stated that I usually do not get color and her response was "well you HAVE to this time". I replied with "oh, it's the same chain that I had on last time". She then rudely said "No, that was TWO times ago". Her responses to everything I said was very disrespectful and unnecessary. The only good thing out of this last appointment was Dr. Oliver. After my appointment, I hesitated on whether I should say anything at all since Dr. Oliver was so sweet. But I couldn't bear the thought of how my next appointment would be like. My husband is also a patient here. During his second visit, the orthodontist told him that his invisalign treatment was totally unnecessary and that she wouldn't have recommended treatment for a slightly rotated tooth since he previously had invisalign years ago. So what exactly are we paying $$$$ of dollars for? He also had an unpleasant experience with a receptionist booking his appointment. He came in with me during one of my appointments to rebook. We both were in shock with how ill-mannered she was when speaking to my husband. He has felt so upset with his experiences here that he has not returned back in the past 3 months. Overall, Braces on Broad feels like it is more about quantity, not quality. I called into the office yesterday to speak to a manager. We discussed our experiences at the office. I told her I understand with Covid that there would be issues with staffing. I do not mind if the techs are still in training. If that means that I will be jabbed or poked accidentally, then that is fine as long as they are apologetic and show empathy. But there is no excuse for lacking professionalism. I asked to discontinue our treatments so the manager said she needed to review our files and would call me back by the end of the day. At 4:30 PM, I hadn't heard back so I decided to call. No answer even though they don't close till 5:00. I've tried calling several times this morning as well and still no answer.

I started my braces treatment 15 months ago with Dr Machicek and everything was great! Loved his professionalism and his staff was the best! Right after he left his staff did also. I started seeing different faces and different "doctors". 2 appointments ago I was seated and the dental assistant started working on my teeth. She took off my wires and started to put my other ones without even the doctor coming AND without me even going to brush my teeth, I stopped her and told her I was going to go brush. I sat back down and she finished and said to come back in 4 weeks, never once did a doc come see my teeth! Sooo 4 weeks go by and I come in to my appointment again, and AGAIN there was different people at the front desk different dental assistants almost felt as if I was visiting a different orthodontist every time. I get seated and the dental assistant said "I think I'm going to change your wire" and I sat there thinking to myself "think" ummm isn't there a plan in place since day 1?! She looked very puzzled so she does her thing didn't tell me to go brush my teeth she finishes and says the doc will come shortly. After 15 min the "doctor" comes and tells me to smile and he says good and walks off maybe after 8 seconds of standing there. Ummm I'm paying thousands of dollars for this smile for me to rely on dental assistants. At this point I do not want to go back to a place that they're just taking my money!
