After practicing general dentistry, Dr. Mahajan decided Orthodontics was her choice of career. She then continued her education and completed her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Nevada in 2009.
Dr. Mahajan believes in constantly educating and appraising herself on the current procedures and technologies to provide her patients with the best treatment possible. She also is an adjunct faculty member at Indiana Universitys School of Dentistry, where she continues to give back to the dental community.
Dr. Mahajan currently resides in Carmel, Indiana with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as traveling and reading. She believes its her duty to give back to the community by participating in events such as Give Kids a Smile and promoting dental education to school children.

Dr. Mahajan is holds several different memberships, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists and Indiana Association of Orthodontists.
