After practicing general dentistry, Dr. Mahajan decided Orthodontics was her choice of career. She then continued her education and completed her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Nevada in 2009.
Dr. Mahajan believes in constantly educating and appraising herself on the current procedures and technologies to provide her patients with the best treatment possible. She also is an adjunct faculty member at Indiana Universitys School of Dentistry, where she continues to give back to the dental community.
Dr. Mahajan currently resides in Carmel, Indiana with her husband and three children. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as traveling and reading. She believes its her duty to give back to the community by participating in events such as Give Kids a Smile and promoting dental education to school children.
We want to be known as a definition of patient advocacy who emphatically implements a patient-first attitude. We want to ensure every single patient has an exceptional orthodontic experience in every visit and is completely satisfied with the results afterward.

Dr. Mahajan is holds several different memberships, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists and Indiana Association of Orthodontists.

Always so kind and understanding... Making sure my son isn't in pain every second and explains to him what she's doing. The dentist is so sweet and caring as well as her team!! Have been here many times and love them!!! Highly recommend!!!!

We had a great first braces experience at Braces For U. The staff members were very kind and helpful answering all questions. Dr. Mahajan was attentive to all the patients and we never felt rushed or unheard. Looking forward to working with them throughout this process.

Both my kids had braces put on elsewhere. For our third set I am delighted we found Braces for U . They are so attentive and kind and assuring. The office is bright and clean . The office is also intimate and not like my previous experience where the ortho could fit 15 kids at a time and not even remember our name. Also, my child required surgery after his braces and the doctor worked well with his surgeon sharing information quickly and accurately. Greatest experience ever!

When I first visited Braces for U I was hesitant for scheduling an appointment! The whole team made me feel super comfortable. I had low self esteem because of my smile as a kid but Dr Mahajan helped me and now I couldn't be any more excited to show off my smile!

My daughter got a palate expander at the age of 8 at braces for U We could not have had a better experience. They were so sweet and nurturing, answered all my questions, had easy appointments and we were always in and out. She now has a retainer that we maintain with them as her teeth continue to come in. I have been very pleased with the staff and their knowledge. They have also been available to troubleshoot via phone and get us in quickly when we needed to be seen. Would highly recommend!

Love this office... Modern environment and they have a Starbucks inside complementary for all their clients. abigail and the staffs are super helpful in front. If you are relocating or in need of a new orthodontic I highly recommend them.

My son recently got his braces off . Dr Mahajan and her staff are amazing , they made sure he was comfortable (he has extremely high anxiety) i cant thank them enough for their patience and kindness.

Was very excited to find a office to take my daughters Medicaid but during my consult the doctor was very demeaning and unprofessional with her staff. The girls who I interacted with were sweet but don't think I will be back. It is one thing to pull staff a side to speak with them but in front of patients and talk to them as if they are children is not a good look. Seems like doctor is only there for a paycheck and not patients. To see how she treated her team in such good despicable ways I don't understand how she has a staff. My daughter Alanys will go elsewhere... and to prove it must be true her response to it... to blame the staff... how shameful!

The Dr. is amazing, but the staff is rude. My husband had an appointment today. All weekend I received reminders of his appointment.Our drive is about a 45 minute drive. He shows up at the office to find out it's closed because the doctor had an emergency. I understand emergencies happen but a call would have been nice. When I discussed how inconvenient it was for us to drive there and find a sitter for a newborn she stated well it's inconvenient for everyone not just you. come on show some empathy at least.
