Dr. Acosta earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2004. He has been practicing dentistry in Auburndale since then. Prior to attending dental school Dr. Acosta was a dental lab technician for 14 years!

Dr. Acosta has a passion for dentistry that extends outside of the office. He has volunteered his time over the years. Currently he is an active member of the Polk County Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

He, along with his staff, participates in community education programs such as Dental Health Month awareness, and local company and residential health fairs. The office hosts the technology day for Travis Technical College and also assists in the training of their interns. He is a huge advocate for learning and education not just for his staff but also his patients.

My name is Elba, born and raised in Paterson, NJ. I moved to Florida in 2005. I have been in the dental field for six amazing years. The best part of my job is communicating with patients. I love listening to their life stories they so often share with me. Knowing that I make difference in their life makes it all worth it. On my free time I enjoy going to DISNEY, traveling and most of all spending time with family and friends.

My name is Lisa, born in a small town in Alabama and raised in Florida. I have been in the dental field since 2018. As a bi-lingual patient coordinator, I have the honor in assisting the Spanish speaking community. I truely love what I do, working for Dr. Acosta is a pleasure. I am married with two wonderful children, Jaira and Jerry. On my free time I love SHOPPING and spending time with my family.

My name is Sasha, born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. I moved to Florida in 2017 and began my career as an insurance coordinator. The best part of my job is the ability to help and assure the patient that I am here for them. I am passionate about my work. I am married with three beautiful children, Aiden, Brayden, and Briella. On my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and most of all sharing laughter with everyone.

Hi! My name is Yajahira, originally from Brooklyn, New York but now I call Florida my home. I am proud to say I have over 15 years of experience in the dental field. I help patients understand and make them feel comfortable about their treatment plan. I also, go over the cost of treatment, insurance details and payment options. I am passionate about dentistry and love to educate patients about the best options for lifelong wellness. On my downtime, I enjoy spending time in my garden, going to the beach and my newest hobby...fishing! I also share my adventures with my husband of 21 years and two teenage boys.

I was born and raised in Florida where I attended St. Petersburg College with a degree in Dental Hygiene with a certification to administer anesthesia. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband traveling, boating and watching a good Neflex series!

Tess has been in Dentistry for over 21 years. She earned her Associate of Applied Science from Suny University in Orange County, NY, in 2001. She has been working with Dr Acosta since 2005. She joined the team in winter 2020 after returning to Florida from Dallas, GA. Tess uses her education and experience to make each patient who visits our office feel welcome, comfortable, and confident that their oral health is her top priority. She truly cares about her patients and enjoys connecting with them on a personal level as well. She makes it her goal to keep patients coming back to our practice for excellent care with a personal touch.

Hi! I'm Casey, born and raised in Bartow, Florida. I graduated from Travis Technical College in 2016. I completed my internship with Dr. Acosta, fell in love with the atmosphere and 5 years later I am still here. I am happily married with 3 beautiful girls! I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with my loved ones. The best part of my job is seeing the satisfaction on our patient's faces when their treatment is complete. Their smile makes it all worth it!

My name is Britney. I was born and raised in Florida. I have been an assistant a little over two years now. I always wanted to be an assistant since I was a little girl. I love all things outdoors and also showing and raising cattle!
