A lifelong Texan, Dr. Richard D. Hulme was raised in Houston. He left Texas briefly to attend college at Brigham Young University, and then returned to pursue seven years of dental and orthodontic training at the nation's top dental school here in San Antonio.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and was in the first class of orthodontists to be board certified during specialty training. Dr. Hulme enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, Boy Scouts (he is an Eagle Scout), church, musicandsports.

He was among the first class of orthodontists to earn the prestigious board certification by the American Board of Orthodontics during specialty training. Dr. Sandra Nairooz was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt where she received a Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery from Ain Shams University. After moving to the United States in 2011, she attended State University of NY at Buffalo and received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS). She later completed a one-year fellowship in Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Upon completing the program, she started her dental career in San Antonio, where she practiced for over 5 years before completing her Orthodontic Residency program at Jacksonville University.
Dr. Nairooz is passionate about creating the best smile for patients of all ages. She likes staying up to date with the latest advances in orthodontics and creating healthy smiles with an emphasis on airway diagnoses. Her attention to detail, honesty, and desire to educate patients and engage with them on an individual basis all ensure that her patients have an outstanding and enjoyable experience.
During her free time, Dr. Nairooz enjoys traveling with her husband Andrew and her two kids, Luke and Celine. Her husband is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon here in San Antonio and together they are active members of their church and volunteer their time for various charitable community events.
