Mendy Ritchie, DDS Dr. Mendy Ritchie has been practicing orthodontics for the past 18 years. She has advanced training in neuromuscular orthodontics from the prestigious LVI and Facial Beauty Institute, early orthodontics, Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, and more. She enjoys helping patients of all ages to achieve their dream smiles. She studied biology at Texas Tech University and attended the #1 ranked dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She has lived in the hill country for over 20 years and enjoys all that there is to do and the wonderful people she has had the opportunity to meet. On a personal note, she enjoys running (having completed 10 marathons), reading, time on the beach, movies, and hanging with friends and family.
Erika, Orthodontic Assistant Erika has been in the orthodontic field for six years as an orthodontic assistant. She enjoys working at Braced Orthodontics and being able to care for patients while watching not only the transformation in their smiles but also their confidence. She loves spending time with her 3 year old son and dog. She was raised in Lampasas and loves that area. In her spare time, she likes to try out new recipes and desserts in the kitchen or photographing special moments outdoors for friends and families.
Reyna, Treatment Coordinator Reyna feels the Lord guided her to join the loving and caring practice of Braced Orthodontics and enjoys being part of such a special team. She has been in the dental field for over 14 years serving in many capacities such as dental assistant, treatment plan coordinator and financial coordinator. Reyna is married and has 3 children. She likes to cook, travel, shop with her daughter, and spend time with her family. She grew up in El Paso but has been in the hill country since 2001.

Braced took care of our youngest son's teeth from beginning to end and the results are fantastic! Dr. Mendy and her staff are genuinely caring and provide a variety of options along with reasonable scheduling flexibility. I had such a great experience from the moment I entered to the moment I left. The girl at the front (forgot her name, sorry!) made conversation with me about my name and it made me feel more comfortable being there. They all treated me so well and the girl who scanned my teeth (forgot her name too) went very into depth about what she was doing and answered all of my questions regarding me teeth and Invisalign! I definitely recommend them and I'm happy I took my business there!

I came here a little over a month ago and I can't even put into words how incredible this place is. The front room is perfect for kids and for parents to relax and enjoy themselves, and the instruments and technology they use are absolutely incredible. Best thing about this place though is by far the people. They were super kind and helpful, and not pushy in any way. I had a budget in mind and they were super understanding and great at trying to help me any way they could. It's one thing to be around good, hardworking profesionals: but to be around good, hardworking professionals who are so kind, genuine, and devoted to what they do is something else. If you are looking for a place to go for orthopedic care, give this place a try. I promise you won't regret it

Had an issue with a permanent retainer and I am new to the area. Was able to get in quickly and new direction identified and taken. Friendly and caring staff and Dr. Mende is thorough and a great problem solver!

Dr. Mendy and her staff are amazing! They are all so welcoming and professional. I took my 12 year old daughter in for braces this morning. They explained everything to us both and answered any questions we had. Incredible with children! I would recommend to anyone wanting to improve their smile to visit BRACED Orthodontics!

I'm so glad to have found Dr. Ritchie! She has exactly the expertise in TMJ disorders and palate expansion through Facial Beauty Institute that I was looking for, complete with Controlled Arch Braces and AGGA. I travel an hour to see her, and it's worth it! She takes such great care with her patients and is always learning the latest. She's also just a nice person who's great to talk to, and goes above and beyond for her patients. Their office is new and really nice. Definitely recommend seeing her!

In order to get implants I had to fix my bottom teeth. I was told as a senior in high school that braces would not straighten my teeth. That was 50 years ago. So I was skeptical about getting Invisalign braces. I am extremely happy with my new straight teeth. It took a year with no pain and very easy. Dr. Mindy and her staff are very friendly and great to work with. I am terrified of dentists but not when it comes to going to see her. I highly recommend Braced Orthodontics to get a pretty smile. It was well worth the money spent.
