Dr. Igityan is an ABO Board Certified Orthodontist and has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. Dr. Igityan obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Yerevan State Medical University back in 2000. After practicing dentistry for a few years, Dr. Igityan continued with her education and graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2011, in the top 10% of the class (recognized by Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Honor Society, Divisional Excellence Award in Orthodontics, Divisional Excellence Award in Pediatric, and Quintessence Award in Periodontics).
Post graduation from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Igityan completed both the 1-year General Practice Residency Program and the 3-year Orthodontic Residency Program at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Thereafter, Dr. Igityan has been practicing Orthodontics in New York.
