Ive been asked this question more than just about any other and I answer the same way I have for over 20 years. I love art, science and people. I got to combine that with helping to calm people through what might be a stressful situation, so it really fits me.
This is still true, but its just the start. Ive been so blessed by my patients and colleagues over the years that my favorite thing about the choice I made is all the relationships I have with so many people. I have gained far more than I have given.
Dr. Boyd received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Florida in 1994. Her Doctor of Dental Medicine was received from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1998. She has been practicing in her current location since 1999: first as an associate dentist, now as owner. She maintains many professional memberships and takes continuing education courses regularly.

Dr. Tiffany Boyd is the best Cosmetic Surgeon in South Florida. She is so helpful, calm and gives great recommendations. I'm a nervous patient when visiting doctors & dentists, but never experience anxiety when I visit Dr. Boyd.

we have been using this dentist for a few years and have not been unhappy,her hygenist monica is great. BUT we will no longer be going back after seeing at the checkout counter some business cards touting her political/religous beliefs. unprofessional to say the least and made me realize that my views were diametrically opposite.

I and my children have been going to Dr Boyd for many years. I find her to be professional, pain free, her staff is pleasant and competent. I have always have fear of dentists in the past, but not with Dr. Boyd she puts you right at ease. It's easy to communicate with her, she listens! I have recently moved 1 hour away and will travel to see Dr. Boyd for my dental needs. She comes highly recommended and is one of a kind! When you meet her you'll know what I mean.

Scheduled 3 appts and 2 appts have been switched around WITHOUT MY APPROVAL! My 1st appt was for a cleaning, it was rescheduled without my knowledge I received a call 3 days before informing me. When I arrived the cleaning turned into "we will start the cleaning next time we see you we will do cavity fill in first" I repeatedly complained about wanting the cleaning due to that being what my appt was for and due to the fact that I was expecting a cleaning they still did the cavity fill in . 2nd appt was a cleaning Finally. I received a phone for a reminder about an upcoming appt. I called back and my appt was moved ahead of the original appt date again! Without my knowledge. I have attended those appts on the convenience of Braden River Dental. I won't be in town to make this most recent Appt and they can't put me in another spot until March? This place reschedules when they want whenever they want and when I try to reschedule a opening isn't available for 4 months? This is WRONG! Why did they reschedule me 2 times before without my knowledge? Cares for themselves and not the people who makes there business I suppose. Be cautious and be sure to ask if they HAVE THE TIME FOR YOU! They didn't for me! Thanks!

I have avoided going to the dentist for years because of fear. Since moving to Sarasota from Seattle, I had an abscessed tooth and HAD to find a dentist. I saw Dr. Boyd's office/sign driving one day..I called, they got me in that same day, pulled the abscessed tooth and everything else is history! I have been going to Dr. Boyd for 2 years now. She is gentle, patient, kind, and truely cares about her patients..She has sincerely taken away my fear of the dentist. Her staff are all as kind and caring as well...

I have been going to see Dr. Boyd for two years and have been entirely happy with her and her staff. I was referred by a friend that had referred several other friends to Dr. Boyd. This friend is no longer happy with her for her own bad experience and I am no longer happy with her either. This year when I went they would not clean my teeth after they had already taken xrays. Their reason was I needed to have a scaling because of pockets between my gums and teeth and a routine cleaning would only do a partial job. If I had known ahead of time I was not going to get a cleaning I would have went somewhere else. The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard that a dentist will not clean teeth.

I have been seeing Dr. Boyd for about ten years. I have been very happy with Dr. Boyd and her staff, and have recommended her to other people. In response to some of the other comments here, Dr. Boyd has always been professional and personable. Dr. Boyd is very gentle, and I've only once had any pain that lasted for more than a day (it was minor). Her staff is great, though it changes from time to time. As one other reviewer recently commented, I too was told a teeth cleaning wouldn't be done until a "deep scaling" procedure was performed. It was explained that my problems were below the gum-line, and that a routine cleaning would not address the problem. This reasoning made complete sense based upon my recent history. My oral surgeon confirmed her analysis. A cleaning was performed after the "deep scaling" was completed. If Dr. Boyd has ever yelled at a patient, I don't think the problem lies with her. Dr. Boyd has encountered some complications when working on my teeth, but she has always remained professional, calm, and willing to spend the time to do things properly- even if it means working beyond "normal" hours. I've also found her pricing to be very fair. In summary, I highly recommend Dr. Boyd and her staff.
