Dr. David Boyd was born and raised in Caruthersville, Missouri. He attended Murray State University and graduated in the spring of 1986 with a bachelor's degree in agriculture. In 1987, Mr. Boyd went on to Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his dental degree in the spring of 1992. He opened his first successful dental practice later that year in Portageville, Missouri. After 16 years of hard work and dedication, Dr. Boyd and his wife, Julie, were fortunate enough to purchase a second dental practice from retiring dentist, Dr. Clarence Wilson, in Caruthersville, Missouri. In February, 2018 they sold the Caruthersville practice.

Dr. Boyd 's wife, Julie, joined the 'We Care Team' in 2005. She also attended Murray State University and received both a Bachelor 's and a Master 's degree in Elementary Education in 1986. Julie and Dr. Boyd have been married since 1980.

Dr. Boyd and Julie make their home in Portageville, Missouri. They are the proud parents of two loving daughters, Jenna and Amy Boyd. Jenna and her husband, Zach Witbert, make their home in Gilbertsville, Kentucky, where they are raising their children, Evie and Axel. Amy is busy pursuing a degree in nursing.

Dr. Boyd and Julie are two of the founding members of Living Stone Baptist Church in Portageville, Missouri. They are deeply committed to growing and nurturing the congregation and spend a great many hours in support of their mission. Dr. Boyd is an accomplished chef and a member of the kitchen ministry at church. He enjoys preparing and serving breakfast every Sunday to the congregation and guests. Dr. Boyd loves fishing, traveling and spending time at the lake with their family, especially his very special grandchildren, Evie and Axel.

Julie graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Master's degree in Elementary Education. Julie and Dr. Boyd have been married since 1980. She taught kindergarten while he attended dental school. When they moved to Portageville, she stayed home to raise their girls. She joined the practice in 2005, where she serves as the office manager. Julie enjoys working and getting to know patients; their care and comfort is her top priority. She is certified in Basic Life Support.

Julie is a member of Living Stone Baptist Church, where she teaches a Sunday school class for children ages 3-5 and also helps with the youth department. She is a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, an organization that completes various community projects throughout the year. They have been blessed with two daughters, Amy and Jenna, Jennas husband Zach, and two precious grandchildren, Evie and Axel.

Teresa started her dental career as a dental assistant in 1988. In 1994, she attended Southern Illinois University to further her dental career. She graduated in 1997 with an Associate's degree in Applied Science and received her certificate in dental hygiene. She has been with Dr. Boyd since he bought the practice in 1992. Teresa enjoys providing care to her patients.

Lindsay graduated from Missouri Southern State University in 2010 with an Associate's in Applied Science Dental Hygiene degree. She received an Associates degree in General Education from Three Rivers College. Lindsay has worked with Dr. Boyd since August 2013. She holds certifications in CPR, nitrous oxide and general anesthesia.

Lindsay has been married to her husband Derek since August 2010. Derek is employed at Associated Electric Cooperative. The family attends St. Teresas Catholic Church, where Lindsay participates in fundraisers for the churchs school, which her children attend. Lindsay enjoys shopping and traveling in her spare time. She and her husband love to spoil their daughter, Rylee Katherine and son, Cater Miles. As a family they enjoy spending quality time together at the beach and White River.

Ginna has been part of the 'We Care Team' as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant since 2011. During her time here, she has completed the Missouri Dental Basic Skills exam as well as a certification in Restorative Classes I and V, Orthodontics and CPR. She loves her job and patients, and she loves helping them maintain their beautiful smiles.

Codie has been working with Dr. Boyds team since 2013. She attended Arkansas Northeastern College in Burdette, Arkansas, where she earned her certification in dental assisting, CPR life support, and the use of conscious sedation via nitrous oxide. Outside the office, Codie most enjoys spending time with her husband and being a foster mom.

Alexis joined the We Care Team in April 2017. She graduated from Arkansas Northeastern Community College with a technical degree in dental assisting, and also has certifications in CPR and nitrous oxide. Alexis is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association and attends the Caruthersville Church of God. In her spare time, Alexis most enjoys spending time with her family, including her son, Kade.

Diana has been part of Dr. Boyd's dental team since 1993. She has taken great pride in working directly with insurance companies to ensure each patient is getting the most out of their insurance coverage. She enjoys working with the patients making sure that treatment plans are completed. She holds certifications for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

She and her husband, Dale, have been married since 1983 and they have one son, Cory; a daughter, Courtney; and a son-in-law, Devon. In her spare time, she enjoys bike riding, walking, riding golf carts, and spending time with family and friends. She is an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Portageville, where she teaches 1st and 2nd grade Sunday school. She has three grand dogs, Tyson, Ellie and Nash.
