Dr. Jonathan Bowers is originally from Janesville, Wisconsin. He received his BS in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin. After working as a biochemist for a few years, he then attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine for his dental education. There, he met his now wife and partner, Dr. Jennifer Oki. Moving to Albuquerque after a few years in Phoenix, Arizona, they fell in love with the 'Land of Enchantment.' Dr. Bowers enjoys hiking, tennis, and a great meal. Dr. Bowers is a member of the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Jennifer Oki earned her dental degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, she attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa for her undergraduate studies where she earned BA's in both Biology and Psychology.Dr. Oki is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Mexico Dental Association, the Albuquerque District Dental Society and the Spear Study Club. She loves learning about new techniques, materials and treatments in dentistry and attends dental conferences and continuing education courses as often as she can.
Tracee has worked in the dental field in Albuquerque for twenty five years. She completed her dental hygiene training at UNM and grew up south of Albuquerque in the town of Bosque Farms. Tracee and her family currently live in the beautiful East Mountains where they enjoy riding horses, hiking and fishing.
Jessica is a native New Mexican and has lived in Albuquerque most of her life. She started her career in dentistry in 1993 as a dental assistant. In 2001 she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of new Mexico. She is a member of the Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Honor Society. Quality patient care is a priority for her as is developing an authentic patient -provider relationship. Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband Jimy, her sons Colin and Owen, and her dog Champ.
Mary is a New Mexico native originally from Alamogardo. She moved to Albuquerque in 1980 and has enjoyed working with this practice since 1982. She is very involved with her children and grandchildren and spends much of her free time caring for them. Mary says her family is very 'basketball' - they live it and love it.
Deborah is originally from Georgia but has lived in Albuquerque for over 40 years. She has worked in the dental field for over 35 years. Deborah enjoys movies, going on walks with her Miniature Schnauzer Andy, and spending time with her family.

How often do you have two dentists in one family? Bowers and Oki is a dental practice for families, by a family. Their staff is terrific. I particularly like hygienist, Jessica, and front desk ladies Mary and Debra. All set examples of excellence and kindness.

My appointments at Bowers and Oki Dentistry are always an excellent experience. Administrative Professionals, Mary and Debra, keep the front office running smoothly. Jessica and all the hygienists practice dental care focused on the patient, the exam, and infection control. Jessica and Dr Oki team up to perform the final detailed exam. Bowers & Oki dental practice is terrific.

Most of us don't usually like going to the Dentist, but @ Bowers & Oki I always feel they want me to be comfortable, & I am! Deborah & Mary @ the front desk are super friendly & put you @ ease. Everyone I spoke to there was great. The ladies as the front desk were so nice and welcoming. The dental hygienist made me feel really comfortable even though its been almost 10 years since seeing a dentist and did such a great job for the cleaning. When meeting Dr. Oki, she was really friendly, informative and reassuring. So glad to have found this practice!!
