Dr. Jason R. Bourne grew up in Woodinville, Washington and graduated from Woodinville High School. He then began his studies at the University of Washington, receiving a Bachelors degree in Zoology. Dr. Bourne continued his studies at the UW in the School of Dentistry, where he completed his doctoral training, earning his DDS degree. There, he was elected Class President, Student Council President, and received numerous awards and scholarships. Dr. Bournes final training was completed at the orthodontics specialty program at Temple University. There, he earned a Certificate in Orthodontics, and completed his Masters Thesis, earning him an MS degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Bourne is constantly involved with continuing education, attending study clubs, seminars, lectures and conferences to remain on the cutting edge of new advances in research, technology, and techniques. He is also involved in organized dentistry, having served as the head lecturer of the Northwest Chapter of the Seattle Invisalign Study Club, and on the Executive Committee of the Snohomish County Dental Society. Dr. Bourne also frequently lectures to dentists, hygienists and assistants in dental offices around Snohomish County.
Community involvement is a priority for Dr. Bourne. He is a large supporter and donor to area school districts, many local sports teams, and various civic organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs, and the YMCA.
In his free time, Dr. Bourne enjoys staying active by running and participating in multi-sport races, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors by hiking and fishing during the summer months, and snowboarding during the winter. Most of all, Dr. Bourne loves spending time with his family, which includes his wife and three children.
Your initial exam is completely complimentary. We believe in presenting your individualized treatment options in a way that is easy to understand so that you can make an informed decision. We will help you understand the benefits of orthodontics before starting the process, and we will never try to sell you on a treatment that you are not comfortable with. If a patient is not immediately ready for orthodontic treatment, Dr. Bourne will continue to monitor growth and development at no charge - included in this are orthodontic records & periodic x-rays during this observation period. And of course, these patients are eligible to become a part of our Spy Club!

All the staff workers are delightful. And the work he does is nice. But here are a few details about my personal experience: Dr. Bourne, told me at my consult that I was an easy case, would only need them on for 1yr and 1/2 or less. I was sold because of the white braces. THE DAY I get the braces on and I've paid the $5,000, all I heard was "at least 2 years". It was closer to 2.5 yrs before I got them off. I feel this may be in part because they were so busy... my appointments were often spread out further than need be. Also, was NOT informed until I had everything on, you only get to have all white bars for the first few short phases, then it's silver. My teeth look good. But looking back at all the details, struggles, pain, costs, time, I wouldn't have done it again. I'm very sure it's easier for kids.

I can't tell you how pleased l am that I picked Bourne. Everyone there is so amazing and friendly and did such a great job. I was leary of getting braces at my age (60) but they made it such a great experience. Im going to miss them ,the girls are like daughters to me.

Communication is great too! I know what to expect at each appointment & had to call once for help-they got me right in even though they were busy! I wouldn't go anywhere else for our orthodontics!

We were referred for a complimentary consultation and while scheduling one over the phone, the lady found out our son had state insurance and immediately changed her demeanor. She let us know they dont accept state insurance and hung up. I understand you either do or don't work with certain insurances but I shouldn't feel discriminated because of our insurance. Terribly rude.
