Dr. Jason R. Bourne grew up in Woodinville, Washington and graduated from Woodinville High School. He then began his studies at the University of Washington, receiving a Bachelors degree in Zoology. Dr. Bourne continued his studies at the UW in the School of Dentistry, where he completed his doctoral training, earning his DDS degree. There, he was elected Class President, Student Council President, and received numerous awards and scholarships. Dr. Bournes final training was completed at the orthodontics specialty program at Temple University. There, he earned a Certificate in Orthodontics, and completed his Masters Thesis, earning him an MS degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Bourne is constantly involved with continuing education, attending study clubs, seminars, lectures and conferences to remain on the cutting edge of new advances in research, technology, and techniques. He is also involved in organized dentistry, having served as the head lecturer of the Northwest Chapter of the Seattle Invisalign Study Club, and on the Executive Committee of the Snohomish County Dental Society. Dr. Bourne also frequently lectures to dentists, hygienists and assistants in dental offices around Snohomish County.
Community involvement is a priority for Dr. Bourne. He is a large supporter and donor to area school districts, many local sports teams, and various civic organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs, and the YMCA.
In his free time, Dr. Bourne enjoys staying active by running and participating in multi-sport races, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors by hiking and fishing during the summer months, and snowboarding during the winter. Most of all, Dr. Bourne loves spending time with his family, which includes his wife and three children.
Your initial exam is completely complimentary. We believe in presenting your individualized treatment options in a way that is easy to understand so that you can make an informed decision. We will help you understand the benefits of orthodontics before starting the process, and we will never try to sell you on a treatment that you are not comfortable with. If a patient is not immediately ready for orthodontic treatment, Dr. Bourne will continue to monitor growth and development at no charge - included in this are orthodontic records & periodic x-rays during this observation period. And of course, these patients are eligible to become a part of our Spy Club!

Great staff!!! Very personable, kind and understanding. What they did to fix my son's smile was absolutely incredible. (I was sure they would have to pull teeth and they didn't!) My son has Autism, and they helped him to feel comfortable at every visit. He actually looked forward to going to his appointments!! Highly recommend!!

WOW! What an amazing office, after having a not so great experience locally we decided to see Bourne. The front staff was super helpful, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I look forward to having many more visits once my girl is ready for braces! Highly recommend, they also have a second office in Marysville !

They're the best! My daughter was their patient few years ago, and when I saw the results, and had a very good experience with them, we decided to have my son have his braces done here too. Dr. Bourne and his team are awesome! Highly recommended! Hope to see you all soon for my braces

Dr. Bourne and his staff have been amazing throughout our daughters process. We Always feel comfortable from start to finish with each appointment. We love how they really care about their patients and how much Dr. Bourne gives back to the community. The check in is simple, lots to do while you wait (never waited more than 3-5 minutes) to go to the back, speedy follow ups, answers questions throughly, listens to concerns, and checkout is a breeze. If you need a quick fix appointment they have always worked us into their schedule for same day. I think our daughters favorite time to go in for appointments is in the summer for a ice cream bar. Our daughters smile has changed her confidence and has made a ever lasting impression. We couldn't have asked for a better orthodontist.

Dr Bourne and his staff are the friendliest people you will ever meet. They also do a fantastic job on straightening teeth and correcting your bite. I love how my bite is now perfect and my smile looks amazing. They are the best!

Dr. Bourne and his entire staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Immediately when you walk in you feel relaxed, it's not your typical plain walls and complete silence waiting room. My daughter was terrified to go and didn't want to open her mouth. When we left she was a completely different kid ready to come back and get her braces ASAP. Thank you for being so awesome!

Dr. Bourne and his entire staff always greet you like you're their relative! Kind, courteous and so willing to help! My oldest son had the absolute best outcome. We will forever be grateful for the understanding and help provided during those few years. My youngest isn't quite ready and was really nervous for that 1st appt. He left so happy and can't wait to get his treatment started! I encourage anyone to go to Bourne Orthodontics, you will leave knowing that's your place!

Bourne ortho is the greatest! Every visit is warm, welcoming, and fun for my daughter. They are great at understanding our busy schedule and the occasional need to reschedule and have flexible appointment times that work well for us. Dr. Bourne is great about explaining treatment to not only me, but my daughter as well. 5 stars!
