Dr. Downey attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana for his undergraduate degree in Biology. Upon graduation, he attended Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Downey loves dentistry, especially how both creative and critical problem solving are used together to create the best patient outcomes.
Kris is our office manager. She graduated from International Business College in 1992 with a degree in Applied Science Accounting. She has worked in the dental field for 26 years and has loved every minute of it. Kris grew up in Plymouth and has 2 adult children. She enjoys going to the tractor show with Randy her long-time boyfriend and making people smile.

Dr Downey was very considerate of my stress about dental work. He went so far as to call me twice that evening and again the following morning to see how I was doing and give me peace of mind. The work itself was well done. Doctor and staff made my least favorite appointment a more pleasant experience

I had an amazing first visit (I had to change dentists due to insurance) The Dental Asst was extremely kind and caring and listened to my concerns. Definitely recommend!

Great place for dental work. I have been here more than once and am happy with the work. Office staff was friendly. Doctor and assistant were amazing. I felt really comfortable. Will definitely be going back when needed.

As a first time patient, I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly they were able to get me in. The women at the front desk were cordial and helpful. The dental assistant was kind and competent. I was really impressed with the dentist. He gave me my options and then let me decide rather than just pushing the most expensive route. When I returned, much care was taken to make sure I was comfortable and all my questions were answered. He explained everything as he went along, as I was very nervous. All around, a very positive initial experience for me compared to past dental experiences. I only gave four stars because I seldom give the highest rating. Since no one is perfect, there is always room to improve. But I will be returning and scheduling visits for my kids, as well. I would definitely recommend to others.

Dr. Downey and his staff is absolutely amazing! He cares about his patients and takes the time to make sure they are taken care of and happy with the service he provides. He's honest and respectful and will not take advantage of you by any means. I sure am glad I have gone to him for my dental needs and even with my dentures. The denture process does take awhile but Dr. Downey wants everything to be right for both himself and his patients to be happy with all the services he provides. I highly recommend Bourbon Family Dentistry and Dr. Downey!!!!!

Had a good experience at the appointment. Everyone was very nice. Although I did notice that the hygenist that cleaned my teeth did not floss my teeth as usual.

Everyone is so nice here! Dr. Downey was so great and it was the first time I didn't have a total anxiety attack during a dentist appointment in years. If I weren't moving next month I would go here for all my dentist appointments. The only downside was that I had a bit of a wait, but there can be a lot of reasons for that so I won't judge them too much for that.
