Dr. Jesse Friedman has a passion for making beautiful smiles. He is originally from Miami, Florida. He grew up learning how to ski in Colorado and visiting for family vacations and has always wanted to make a life here. He received a B.S. in Biology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA and his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Friedman then moved to Colorado and completed a 1 year hospital-based residency program at Denver Health Medical Center. He has taken 500+ hours of Continuing Education courses in the last 4 years in implant dentistry, surgery, cosmetic dentistry, endodontic therapy, and sedation dentistry.Dr. Friedman enjoys just about everything Colorado has to offer, from fly fishing and biking to skiiing and hiking.
Dr. Jennifer Rubin was born and raised in Forest Hills, New York. She attended Boston University where she majored in Psychology. After college, she continued her studies and received a masters degree in Medical Sciences at Boston University School of Medicine and DMD degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. A passionate oral health advocate, Dr. Rubin was extremely involved in oral health outreach programs while in dental school, including delivering dental care to indigent populations in Guatemala. After graduating from dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center. Her enthusiasm for pediatric dentistry led her to pursue a two-year Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Mount Sinai Hospital.
At Mount Sinai, she gained significant expertise in the dental and oral health treatment of pediatric and special needs patients, including areas of trauma, pediatric medicine, craniofacial anomalies, and treatment under sedation, including general anesthesia, oral sedation, and IV sedation.
Dr. Rubin had dreams of becoming a dentist since she was 10 years old. She has fulfilled that dream and loves being a pediatric dentist. She makes sure every child she treats feels special, comfortable, and confident, while creating a truly fun, welcoming environment.

Appointment started on time, cleaning was well done, gently but thoroughly. Dr. Friedman's assessment was complete. Great office, I've been a patient for eleven years and plan to continue.

My overall experience as a first comer to this dentistry was absolutely fabulous! All of the staff I got to meet were very helpful and kind in helping me get settled in for my appointment, informing me on all the details on my cleaning, and even going further beyond in providing me information for improvements for my dental health!! Can't wait to visit again in six months!

It's unfortunate what has happened with Boulder Smile Design. Dr. Friedman and the hygienists are fine, but their billing office is mismanaged and is asking for money on something done 1-2 years ago. They couldn't explain their records to make sense of the situation.

The staff is very pleasant and no long waiting times in the waiting room, very flexible with scheduling. Dr. Friedman is very personable and explains things well. I had an implant and it was a smooth painless procedure. I was pretty nervous about it and he made sure I understood everything abut the procedure. I had enough anesthetic and he checked up on me the evening after the implant. I highly recommend him for dental implants.

Dr. Friedman and his office staff were extremely kind and helpful to me when I visited their office following an accident I suffered on a visit to Boulder. Dr. Friedman recognized that I needed oral surgeon to repair my injuries and promptly booked me a surgery appointment with a colleague that same morning. Many thanks!

I have finally found the best Dentist in CO! Dr. Friedman was so professional and gentle that I would never go anywhere else. The staff was also super welcoming and helpful at every interaction. Bonus, if you have kids be sure to check out Rock Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Freidman's wife, Dr. Friedman, leads the pediatric end of the business. Those operating rooms are so fun!

To echo a recent review, I have also been part of this practice for over 20 years and in the past would recommend it highly to anyone that asked. Now their lack of basic office management, negative communication style and care of patients has changed and I believe they no longer have good intentions towards the day to day care of their patients. AND don't be misled by their communication, I have left 2 messages for Dr Friedman 1) for my son's dental emergency I heard NOTHING back. I was told by the manager we cannot be sure that this cavity was completed by Dr Friedman.... This is the only practice my son has been part of and he is now 20 years of age. 2) to check in on the experience my family was seeing, again I heard nothing back. I can no longer recommend this practice and urge you to find a more caring and respectful place for your family.

For the first time in 50 years I have finally had a pain free experience at the dentist. If it is possible to actually enjoy a dentist visit, I actually did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and kindness. Through the whole process of getting a crown I was comfortable and never felt like Dr. Friedman was in a rush. I finally don't have a fear of going to the dentist! Thank you Boulder Smile Design!!

I always am happy with my visits to Boulder Smile Design. The scheduling reminders are helpful. The front desk is on it. The hygienists are top notch. The x-ray and digital camera equipment are all high quality. They don't push treatments on me, which I very much appreciate. Thanks for all you do!

I've been going here for years now and the place is awesome! Dr. Friedman is gentle and professional as is the rest of the staff. If you're afraid of dentists (like I was) then this is the place for you, they make you feel comfortable and safe. I highly recommend!
