Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

After replacing my silver fillings with porcelain, I had to come back 4 more times due to the uncomfortability. Thinking I should come back to schedule my routing cleaning, I left multiple messages and sent emails, and no response. After obviously changing over to a new dentist, they never sent over my records that I requested THREE different times. Horrible service and experience!

Made an apt over the phone for a next-day emergency visit. When I showed up the office was closed (11am on a Tuesday). No one answered the phone. Apparently my appointment was made incorrectly for a practice in Mesa, Arizona. Beware of scheduling issues...lol. Also, why weren't they open on a Tuesday? Did this place get closed and I was routed to a phone bank? Such a weird experience. I called and left a voicemail. The office responded by a follow-up comment on this review to call them.

If I could give a negative number of stars I would. Every crown that was performed at boulder modern dentistry has broken off. I had two of the crowns replaced at Boulder Modern Dentistry under their warranty but they just failed again. The tooth is taken all the way down to the gum line and a pin is placed in the remainder of the tooth and the crown on the pin. When the pin breaks there is no tooth left to place a crown on. Therefore, I needed to see an endodontist to extract the tooth, perform a bone graft and place an implant on the two teeth that were more visible. For six months I had missing teeth creating an unsightly gap. This was very embarrassing. The other teeth that had the crowns fail, I just had extracted and left empty. I also had the root canal done at BMD fail and abscess leaving bone loss. An Oral Surgeon cut open my gums, cleaned out the abscess and performed the root canal from the gum area. Also at BMD I was told that I needed $1500 of treatment on my gums which I declined. Now every time I go to my new dentist they tell me I have very healthy gums. I spent over $7000 at Boulder Modern Dentistry and more than $9000 repairing the damage done. After 6 months of back and forth communication trying to get compensation from the local office and Pacific Dental (apparently their parent company) I received no satisfaction. Save yourself the permanent dental damage and the cost associated with repairs and go to a real dentist.

Overall, bad services. I scheduled an appointment (they only had a slot for one month ahead, even if I'm a returning patient). They called me the day before, cancelled my appointment, and gave me another one for yet one more months ahead, and they were barely sorry about it. Two months to get an appointment.... I found that they charged me too much for my treatments, always try to make me pay for the most amount possible, do as much X-ray as possible, and never being clear in advance in how much I will have to pay. They have an annoying online service where you have to confirm appointments before. I had to fill in a lot of information one month before my appointment, and login again two days before the appointment to reconfirm. They don't seem to trust or care for their patients. The previous system sent reminders and that was fine. Their new online system is extremely annoying.

Steer clear. Quote for fillings and night guard are roughly 50% higher than another local dentistry. When asked about the pricing (before I went to the other place and got composite fillings), I was told I had a bad dental insurance plan and there was nothing they could do. After speaking to my insurance provider, I was informed that these services should've been covered. They either don't know how to bill their services or don't understand the insurance plans they cover. Probably both.

I highly recommend dentist Dr. Kumudini Panchal at Boulder Modern Dentistry! She has a kind and caring manner and explains all the procedures very well! Boulder Modern Dentistry has some of the most cutting edge machines with 3D technology that can create crowns on the same day of your visit! Using that technology, I am also especially impressed with Dr. Panchal, because she was able to create crown inlays, instead of regular crowns, thereby preserving more areas of my teeth!! Again, I highly recommend Dr. Panchal and Boulder Modern Dentistry!!!

WARNING!! Do NOT go to Boulder Modern Dentistry. They fabricated my X-ray to have a cavity & I got a 2nd option by my long time dentist back home. He took his own X-rays & saw nothing. It was the same as my X-rays 2 years ago. Boulder Modern Dentistry also precharged me for the filling and I had to ask them to refund me!! My dentist here said people new to locations get scammed often.

If I could give this place a 0, i would. I went here for 4 broken teeth and they only "repaired" 3. I use "repaired" lightly because the 3D printed caps didn't even match the teeth they were made for. I went back because I had a gap between one that was giving me pain and they didn't complete the repair the second time either... I was flossing around Christmas and the floss ripped the gapped piece out like nothing. fast forward two months, and my back molar - which was also "repaired" - came out whilst chewing on a tortilla! I'm sad, in pain, and debt from the lack of care and consideration of Boulder Modern Dentistry. Avoid at all costs. pic of the first broken tooth attached

My appointment was cancelled with just a few hours notice. They were unapologetic and told me it is common for them to cancel appointments. I'll never come here after the way they treated me.

RUN AWAY WHILE YOU CAN. I'm not one to write bad reviews, but this place is a total scam and needs to be avoided. I walked in for a routine cleaning--and like all the previous reviewers before me--was told I had tooth decay and bone loss and I would need expensive and invasive procedures to fix it (possibly even surgery). I have never needed any serious work before. They did not clean my teeth, just polished and flossed but no actual removal of plaque and tartar, and yet still charged me for the visit. Received a 2nd opinion and was told my teeth were fine. Really scary to know I could have had needlessly painful and expensive procedures done just for this place to make a profit. I'll be reporting this place to the CO state dental board.

This dentists office acts very similar to used car dealership. Constantly up selling. I have never needed any serious work before, they tried to change my entire cleaning process. When I declined they would not complete my standard cleaning and still charged me for the visit. Received a 2nd opinion and was told my teeth were fine Everytime you go here people are being told they need extensive "deep cleanings" avoid this profit over patient dentists office

Avoid this place. Agree with prior comments that it is a scam. I also got told that I had horrible gum disease and needed an $800 deep cleaning. When I said that I just wanted a basic cleaning, they refused to do it. I ended up walking out. Also, the Dentist was incredibly pushy, trying to force me into getting procedures done and scheduling them ASAP.

My appointment was at 2PM and I'm still sitting in the room waiting for the doctor . It's now 3:05 and I'm being told to wait another 10 minutes. Oh and that they probably won't be able to do my cleaning today. One of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had.

I was told I needed a large filling, a small filling and a deep cleaning when I came in for a check up ($1500 out of pocket, even with insurance). The dentist refused to even give me the free cleaning that my insurance covered as she said my mouth was so unhealthy. However, I couldn't afford it at the time and instead waited to get a second opinion a few months later. My second dentist said my teeth looked great, didn't need any fillings and that I should in fact stop using mouth wash because my gums looked very healthy. He was shocked that another dentist thought I needed to spend thousands of dollars on my teeth. This appointment had me anxious for months that my teeth were unhealthy and had me saving up to do work that I didn't even need...

Switching to a new dental place. A 30 minute appointment took like an hour plus. The Dr. was no where to be found. Stopped after long wait, to tell me I can go.

I recently had a deep cleaning/scaling appointment and Patience, the dental hygienist was great! She was very gentle and reassuring during the whole process. Everything was explained in a simple and straightforward way and charges were clearly explained before the procedure was performed. I had trepidation about the procedure after a painful past experience at another practice. It was a pleasant surprise to have what I needed done in a comfortable, yet efficient manner. Thank you!

This dentist deserves Zero stars. Prepare to spend at least 90 minutes here for a simple routine clean. Also, be prepared to pay out of pocket and take all recommended procedures. If you don't, they will show you the door without providing a cleaning. The "Dr" here recommended a "deep" clean and filling replacement that comes with an extra cost to my covered routine cleaning. I couldn't afford this and declined the deep clean and filling replacement (as it presented no pain or issues for me). The "dr" then showed me the door WITHOUT providing my covered clean. I spent 48 minutes here to be denied a health service because I couldn't afford to pay more for a deep clean. Worst dental experience ever. Update: I was able to get a second opinion from Alpine Dental Health the next day. No extra cleaning needed, no replacement of filling needed, none of the extra $1000 of dental work necessary. They cleaned my teeth, smiled at me, and said we'll see you in six months. Go there, or any other place.

Terrible experience. I was charged for a consultation that I specifically asked if I would be charged. I was promised that there would be no charge. But they did charge me. Pretty sad. I'm avoiding this group in the future.

Horrible experience. Will scare you with a horrible diagnosis and then upsell you treatment. Will prescribe treatment purposely not covered by insurance. My wife and I came here for our first time after moving to the states. We both have been seeing dentists throughout our lives and generally have a healthy set of teeth. We were both diagnosed with needing a "deep cleaning" not covered by our Cigna insurance, totaling $800 per person. Then, additionally, I needed a root canal treatment, all my wisdom teeth removed, and a filling and crown. They will do everything they can do scare you into a treatment. They also purposely chose a type of filling that was not covered by my insurance. Total treatment cost: $3500 with insurance, $10,000 without insurance. Absolutely insane. They scored my gums health a 6 for several teeth, indicating a "high chance of tooth loss". Also, as I didn't take the recommended treatments right away, I didn't even get a basic cleaning which would be covered by my insurance. Ended up going to Perfect Teeth on Broadway for a second opinion. They diagnosed my gums health no worse than a 4 and mostly 2s and 3s. They gave me a full cleaning, polished my teeth, removed staining, applied fluoride, flossed, and diagnosed two cavities -- all covered by insurance. Recommended treatment cost: $200 with insurance. Also, they were much more personal, friendly and reassuring. Boulder Modern Dentistry feels like a scam, and this place should not even be allowed to operate like this.
