Dr. Huxford loves living in Boulder City. He is currently the only BC resident that owns not one but two local dental practices. As an invested and active member of the community, you may frequently see him in a local parade, serving in the community, and coaching or announcing for one of Boulder City High Schools Eagles teams. He loves to wake board and bike scenic Lake Mead. He also enjoys flying airplanes and riding horses. He and his wife Rachelle raised their five children right here in Boulder City.
Dr. Andrew Huxford grew up in Oregon where he worked on a farm as a kid. He graduated from Southern Utah University and became a High School teacher in Physical Education and Science, ultimately receiving a Masters Degree in Education at UNLV.
After 8 years of teaching, Dr. Huxford decided to make a career change into the field of dentistry, so he returned to school and received the pre-med degree that would qualify him for dental school. He and his wife Rachelle moved to Colorado where they spent the next four years at the University of Colorado. They relocated to Boulder City in 1991.

As someone who works in the dental field- I can be very picky about dental offices, but this place went beyond my expectations ! They got my fiance in very quick with his toothache and took care of him same day The staff is so sweet and kind, the doctor was informative and friendly. I felt very comfortable here I loved everything about this place Highly recommend ! We will be back Thank you!

Had an emergency situation and need quite a bit of dental work. The dentist was very patient and explained all my options to me and answered all my questions. Had to have tooth extracted and felt nothing. However, I think for paying over $500 I should have been fit for a temporary tooth since it was in the front. I had to call and ask about a temporary tooth which would be $350. Also, the staff was wonderful. I just figured if I was going to spend quite a bit of money on my teeth there they should have kept the cost down a bit.

Not only is the staff fantastically amazing, but Dr. Huxford heard One Direction's "Makes You Beautiful" on the radio, and he sang it to me (well...the words he knew and hummed the rest). Made my day. Hilarious and flattering all at the same time. Made the experience so much better. ...I wasn't allowed to sing along.

The assistants at the front had bad attitudes, were unfriendly, did not seem enthused to work there, and had ridiculous communication problems. After scheduling an appointment and receiving text conformation, I was still told that I had come in on the wrong date and time, TWICE. When scheduling wasn't the issue, I was kept waiting in the chair for an unnecessary amount of time. As a dental assistant living in Boulder City, it is completely worth it to drive out into town for some good service.
