At Boulder Dental Center we offer digital x-rays for our patients. With rapidly developing technology, conventional dental x-rays are being overtaken by a revolution in digital x-rays. With digital x-rays, images can be acquired instantaneously in the dental office. This process is faster, safer and produces images that are at or above the resolution of traditional film x-rays. These images can be manipulated, enhanced, stored and exchanged for referral and other purposes making them extremely useful and convenient.
Over 50% of patients fear anesthetic syringes according to a recent national survey. Some patients get more nervous than others at the mere sight of a needle. Discomfort from a dental shot is mostly due to the feeling of pressure created by the flow of dental anesthetic. A computer controlled injection system called The Wand can greatly relieve this discomfort.
THE WAND doesnt look like a traditional syringe so the patients initial apprehension is minimized. During the actual injection, the development of an anesthetic pathway combined with computer controlled constant flow assures that there is minimal awareness that the injection is even being given.
THE WAND represents the first major technological advance in anesthetic delivery since the syringe was first invented nearly one hundred fifty years ago. This computer controlled Novocaine delivery system conquers fear of pain and anxiety. Dr. Abboud gives his patients the highest quality dental care while addressing their concerns about the pain, fear and anxiety associated with standard syringe injections.
THE WAND can be positioned more accurately and has a controlled novocaine flow rate. This provides quicker numbing of the teeth without the usual numbness of the tongue, lips and face. This computer controlled anesthetic delivery system also eliminates that fat face feeling that can last for hours. Dr.Danny Abboud has perfected the art of dental anesthesia and provides pain-free treatment. He offers nitrous oxide for relaxation if patients request it.
Using an intraoral camera at Boulder Dental Center allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained. With the images produced by the intraoral camera, patients can see their teeth and dentists can indicate problems such as broken teeth, decay, gum disease and defective fillings.
Boulder Dental Center is striving to provide state of the art technologies, and noninvasive treatment modalities, thus we are pleased to include the Dental Soft Tissue Laser (Diode Laser) in our Center.

This place hit me with some surprise billing that was extremely unethical and unprofessional, their 'estimate' of out of pocket expenses was off by half a grand, beware of fake reviews they were also bribing people with water piks in exchange for 5 star reviews, so most are fake on here

Skilled dentists and a beautiful office. Front desk staff have made errors with me twice: issues billing out of state insurance, and selecting the wrong tooth when scheduling. They made it right in the end both times, which I appreciate.

The staff at this clinic are completely not conscientious of their patient's time. My aunt had an appointment at 4:00pm. She took work off in order to make this appointment. We came early around 3:35pm in order to check in and with the hopes that we might be able to be seen earlier as we had another meeting to get to after. The front desk staff, a woman with glasses and a bald man, told us that they were running a couple minutes behind as their 3:30pm appointment had not come in yet. When it hit 4:00pm, we asked when my aunt would be taken in, and again they said "another couple minutes". We waited all the way till 4:30pm till we finally had to go. And only when we started rescheduling did the hygienist finally come down to take my aunt in. My aunt had to take off of work and lose out on her income in order to make the appointment, and when we expressed our frustration at the situation, the front desk staff were completely unsympathetic. Terrible customer service.

Provided my insurance information beforehand with approval - arrive for my appointment on time and front desk said my insurance is not approved. I assure them that it is and they then spend 40 minutes discussing with my insurance company on the phone while I wait. Finally they agree that my insurance is fine and they let me go for my cleaning/checkup. The hygienist takes X-rays but forgets to save them (and only does half of them) so once the Doctor comes to examine, she can't pull up my images. Requires the hygienist to take them again, all before my cleaning has even started. At this point I've been here for 90 minutes. The dentist performs half the cleaning, gets halfway through and then walks away to work with another client leaving me to wait. Dentist returns to finish the cleaning and I can finally leave after 3 hours. Never have I had a routine cleaning take that long before. Followed up a few weeks later for a cavity filling (I had no intention of returning after the first service but felt it was easier to just get this filled than try to find another place in the moment). Presented with a payment plan that was incorrect, insurance did not cover the filling. I had to argue further about the bill on the phone with the billing department who seem to know little about insurance and their own billing policies. The cavity filling itself was fine, non-eventful (giving them two stars instead of one), but certainly cannot recommend this place given their billing staff and the first cleaning.

We recently moved our family of four to the Foothills Boulder Dental Center and we couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Smith is fantastic, their front desk is great, and they have any dental services you might need in house. I highly recommend them!

This place is great. The staff as well as the Doctor were super friendly. Paperwork was easy and I was able to get my teeth cleaned in no time. The clinic is located in a very scenic place and has a lot of parking spots (if you are driving). I highly recommend it. I'm planning to come back here multiple times in the near future.

This was the best dentist experience I have had in a long time. I have lots of fillings, crowns and implants and this office was kind and gentle and understanding of my fears. Go see this team. Darron and Dr Kelton were amazing!!

I moved (with my former long-time Dentist's semi-retirement) to this office this summer, after missing regular appointments for over a year and a half, due to CO-VID cautions. These staff members, Dentists, hygienists, and office staff provide excellent care, answering my questions with kindness and patience, they can recommend products and tools, and are very accommodating in scheduling appointments. I was very glad to have the most thorough cleaning I have received in a good number of years, I deeply appreciate the time taken to formulate a plan of treatment and maintenance for my oral health. 5 Stars!

This place has been the best experience I've ever had with a dentist before ... they truly care about the patient. Doctor Cristina smith had to give me a few injections before filling my cavities and she made it as smooth and painless as possible. It brought down my anxiety and made me very relaxed knowing she was taking her time and trying her best to make it comfortable. So grateful for this dentist and for the amazing staff. 5 stars 10/10

I am a very nervous dental patient, but this facility and the employees here made my experience enjoyable, speedy and EASY! For once, I don't dread going to the dentist! From the office staff, to the hygienists - everyone is wonderful and professional! They even accommodate later appointments!! HIGHLY recommend Boulder Dental Center to anybody looking for an amazing dentist!

This office is about 45 minutes from my house, but well worth the drive. Margo Nagel D.D.S is a great dentist! She was able to fix some the work done by last dentist. I highly recommend this office.
