At Boulder Dental Center we offer digital x-rays for our patients. With rapidly developing technology, conventional dental x-rays are being overtaken by a revolution in digital x-rays. With digital x-rays, images can be acquired instantaneously in the dental office. This process is faster, safer and produces images that are at or above the resolution of traditional film x-rays. These images can be manipulated, enhanced, stored and exchanged for referral and other purposes making them extremely useful and convenient.

Over 50% of patients fear anesthetic syringes according to a recent national survey. Some patients get more nervous than others at the mere sight of a needle. Discomfort from a dental shot is mostly due to the feeling of pressure created by the flow of dental anesthetic. A computer controlled injection system called The Wand can greatly relieve this discomfort.

THE WAND doesnt look like a traditional syringe so the patients initial apprehension is minimized. During the actual injection, the development of an anesthetic pathway combined with computer controlled constant flow assures that there is minimal awareness that the injection is even being given.

THE WAND represents the first major technological advance in anesthetic delivery since the syringe was first invented nearly one hundred fifty years ago. This computer controlled Novocaine delivery system conquers fear of pain and anxiety. Dr. Abboud gives his patients the highest quality dental care while addressing their concerns about the pain, fear and anxiety associated with standard syringe injections.

THE WAND can be positioned more accurately and has a controlled novocaine flow rate. This provides quicker numbing of the teeth without the usual numbness of the tongue, lips and face. This computer controlled anesthetic delivery system also eliminates that fat face feeling that can last for hours. Dr.Danny Abboud has perfected the art of dental anesthesia and provides pain-free treatment. He offers nitrous oxide for relaxation if patients request it.

Using an intraoral camera at Boulder Dental Center allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained. With the images produced by the intraoral camera, patients can see their teeth and dentists can indicate problems such as broken teeth, decay, gum disease and defective fillings.

Good dentist. Was very numbed when receiving a filling so it wasn't uncomfortable at all. I also got one wisdom tooth removed (top) and felt no pain at all afterwards and its been a week! (which I know seems hard to believe). However, I was not initially given much info about the procedure (before calling to ask), which would have been helpful. Overall good experience with this dentist. They take my insurances which is nice too.

I've been coming here for a few years now and have since recommended this location to others. The entire staff have treated me well plus the facility is comfortable and clean.

Evey time I have come to Blulder Dental at Arapahoe, the staff has treated me with nothing but kindness and respect. The office is clean, and appointments never take too long. Scheduling is easy enough but can take a few weeks to get in which is standard. My only change would be that I don't have a new dentist every time.

Worst dental experience ever. No accountability. Their office person said she isn't sure if the dentists carry insurance! Stay away. Update: I did reach out to their office manager who said there was nothing they could do, that they don't believe their doctors are INTENTIONALLY causing harm, and that I could come back, for a fee, to have their poor work and permanent scaring on the inside of my cheeks checked out by their doctors. I decided I will stick with dentists who are safe, thanks.I reported to the better business bureau and to the licensing board. Oh and they are padding these reviews by offering a water pic if you leave a good review.

absolutely the worst experience i have ever had with a dentist. i called THREE separate times to get an appointment. the first time i was told i would get a call back because the procedure i need required a specialist. over a week passes and no call. i call to setup another appointment. leave a message. more days pass and still no response. leave another message, then i finally get my appointment. they call the friday before to have me reschedule for the doctors convenience, not mine. annoying, but i do it. the monday before my appointment comes and i have yet to receive a confirmation email about my appointment. i called two times and was put on hold for 10 minutes both times. finally reach someone who gives me my appointment time and hangs up. the appointment comes and i go through the questions on the laminated sheet. the last one is about not eating or drinking before my surgery. not a single person at this office communicated that with me through ANY available means of communication. the only communication i received prior to my appointment was an updated bill. the dentist brings me back and sits me down, asks me questions, and decides that he cannot fully sedate me but i will be "half sedated", which is not what i paid for or what i was scheduled for or what i requested. i tell him unacceptable. no one at the front desk has an explanation, just excuses that do not line up with the the telephone answer system they have in place. the office manager brings me back, tries to tell me what he thinks is and isn't necessary for my procedure and then tries to reschedule me. the only available slots completely destroy both my thanksgiving and christmas plans. then one of the front desk workers has the audacity to interrupt my conversation with the manager and states that she has written a "letter of dismissal" in regards to me for the manager, who i am sitting directly in front of, to review and sign. she states "it's better than calling the cops". do not come to this dentist office. go to comfort dental down the street. do not do any business with these jokes. run far away.

A week ago I had a painful sinus infection that I thought was a tooth issue and went in for an emergency visit. Dr. Huska figured it out, gratefully eliminating a dental cause, and sent me on my healing way. Chaney, Michelle and April are wonderful. Thank you, Boulder Dental Care. ~ happy camper

Dr. Azhar Ahmed is great! He truly listens to all of my concerns and gives advice. I appreciate that he listens to every question from "Am I brushing correctly?" to "Is this whitening product safe to use?" Everyone at Boulder Dental Center is friendly and polite.

Dr A was very nice and knowledgeable! Hygienist was pretty aggressive though, more than I've experienced in the past and not ideal. Convenient location

The dental assistant and hygienist were both very prompt, courteous and professional. They made me feel very comfortable and explained my procedures in detail and why they were necessary. I am very happy that I made the decision to come to Boulder Dental Center!

I went here a few years ago. First they put in a filling then when that hadn't worked I got a root canal then that wasn't done right so when I went to another dentist they said I need the root canal redone, or just have the tooth pulled, neither of which is covered by my insurance. Better luck to you! :)

I have been very impressed with the detail and attention of the office staff to both scheduling of appointments and costs of related procedures. Had an excellent consultation with Dr. Dale, the Periodontist here. He went into extensive detail about dental options for me to consider in regards to a more in depth dental procedure. I would highly recommend this dental practice I have gone to for about 4 years now.

The feeling of having clean teeth is an all time favorite of mine, strangely. I'm really not the best at taking care of my teeth so I always look forward to teeth cleanings! Dr. Dietiker was super kind as well as everyone else in the office. It took a while to get in, but one of the gals came out to apologize, which I don't feel like normally happens! Overall, it was a really great experience! My friend recommended me this dentist and I will do the same!!! My teeth feel so fresh and so clean

My husband has been in excruciating pain with gum and teeth issues. Recently he met with Dr Azhar Ahmed and was treated. Dr Ahmed was very professional and kind. He gained Ed's trust immediately with his caring affect. I highly recommend the Boulder Dental Center for not only excellent service but also for their care of patients.
