Joe has been an integral part of our office since 2003. A naturally compassionate personality, Joe enjoys treating patients in a gentle and caring environment. Joe has a strong periodontal background and is very knowledgeable, educating patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy smile. Joe attended Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester where he earned his degree in dental hygiene. He is certified in radiology and administering anesthesia and has over 10 years of clinical experience, beginning with his time as a dental assistant before earning his hygiene certification. Joe continually advances his dental experience and knowledge through various continuing education courses.
Mona became a part of our team in 2012. She graduated from Middlesex Community College with an Associate in Science in dental hygiene in 2011. Upon graduating, she was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, a national honor society. She is also certified in administering local anesthesia. Prior to working as a dental hygienist, she had three years of dental assisting experience. Her sweet and warm smile will always comfort you during your dental visit while her highly effective treatment and exceptional care will help you to maintain your healthy smile.
In her spare time, Mona enjoys traveling, exercising, collecting stuff from Hello Kitty, exploring restaurants in her neighborhood, and spending time with her family and friends. She is actively engaged in church activities, such as volunteering as a Sunday school teacher.
We are lucky to have Sabrina, who brings over seven years of clinical experience to our practice. She is qualified to administer GLO in-office bleaching, speaks Portuguese, and is a Brookline local. She earned her dental assistant certificate from Boston Career Institute and has excellent patient care and chair-side assistance. Sabrina has a high standard of excellence for patient care and will make you feel comfortable, welcome, and at home.
Carol brings over ten years of experience to her role as our front office manager. She helps us by overseeing the daily operation of our office while making sure we provide the highest level of customer service. Feel free to call her with any questions about your dental treatment, insurance benefits, or co-pays. She is here for you. Originally from Indiana, she has lived in six states. Her warm and welcoming smile along with her Southern gracious manner will always make you feel comfortable and welcome!
Gaby has over 10 years experience in the marketing field, and over seven years experience as a Dental Office Manager. She provides support to the practice administration, designs and implements our marketing and advertising, and trains other staff with specific strategies to improve our administrative systems and provide better service to our family of patients. In her free time, she spends time with her two daughters and husband. She loves music and salsa dancing.

When people think of braces, they most often think of traditional orthodontics with metal brackets and wires. However, Invisalign is another alternative that can address the same orthodontic concerns, but without the obvious mouthful of metal. Therefore, Invisalign appeals to many people, but they still have questions. Here, Dr. Sasson answers some frequently asked questions about Invisalign.
During your Invisalign treatment, you will wear a sequential series of aligners. Each aligner will slightly adjust the position of your teeth, a process that is planned by Dr. Sasson and the Invisalign lab at the start of treatment.
Invisalign aligners move teeth through the targeted placement of controlled force. But not only is the force controlled, it is also timed. In other words, only certain teeth move during each stage of treatment.
The obvious advantage of Invisalign is that the aligners are not obviousin fact, they are hardly noticeable in normal social and professional circumstances. In addition, Invisalign aligners are removable so you can take them whenever you want to eat and drink or when its time to brush and floss your teeth.

Had a great Invisalign experience with Dr.Sasson and Amanda. Seamless, easy, and fast. Invisalign aligners were very easy to use on a daily basis, and just take them out whenever I'd be in a meeting at work. Highly recommend!

I went through Boston Smile Center for my Invisalign journey. I had my initial consultation with Dr. Sasson in October 2021 and felt very confident with going forward. He took the time to answer all of my questions, look at and assess my teeth, and did not rush our consult whatsoever. The Invisalign process took me about 9 months total. At the start, it seemed daunting to remember to always wear my aligners and adjust to the slight discomfort of a new aligner, but these feelings quickly dissipated. Wearing the aligners everyday quickly became a normal part of my lifestyle. I actually feel weird when they are not on! I highly recommend BSC for your Invisalign experience!

Speaking as a long time patient of Dr. Sasson's, I can enthusiastically report that the dental care that he provides is consistently superb. He is extremely skilled and experienced, he is very considerate of the comfort and the preferences of the patient and the outcomes resulting from his dental care are outstanding. He is reassuring, informative and honest. He is the best. Additionally, the other professionals he has working with him are absolutely wonderful. Joe is the very finest dental hygienist I have ever encountered. He is thorough, knowledgable, very personable, and professional: a pleasure to see during every visit. This is the practice to come to for knowledgeable, ethical and well experienced professionals.Nancy ,at the front desk ,sets a calming tone from the moment you enter the office. Excellent communication is her forte. Joe, the hygienist performs routine cleanings thoroughly and with the utmost care. Cleary, he is passionate about what he does. Dr Sasson will assess and explain in detail his approach to what work needs to be done. I originally came to him after experiencing terrible consequences from a former dentist. He calmly laid out a plan for corrective restoration work. This included an accurate timeline which proved to be exactly as described. He discussed costs and welcomed questions. The results were excellent. And this was achieved throughout the height of the pandemic! This is the place to go to for all your dental needs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sasson's for 21 years. Dr. Sasson, Joe (hygienist) and Sabrina (dental assistant) have taken great care of my teeth. The front desk staff has always been cheerful and helpful. A week ago, I had a gum graft by Dr. Shainhouse at Dr. Sasson's office. I had no pain during the procedure or after. Dr. Shainhouse is a very skilled periodontist. Dr. Sasson has done 2 caps on my teeth over the years. The care and precision he has exhibited in his work is quite amazing. If you are looking for excellent, painless dental work with a great staff, this is the place for you.

Dr. Sasson is incredibly talented. I visited 5 different orthodontic practices before deciding on the Boston Smile Center for my adult braces. Some doctors wanted to pull 4 of my teeth without even looking at my x-rays. Some appeared to not want to take my case because it was complicated, and one wanted to break and reset my jaw first. When I first met with Dr. Sasson he had a plan that involved saving as many of my adult teeth as possible. He put a lot of thought and expertise into my treatment. We even tried a few methods like Propel to try and get my stubborn teeth to move faster in an effort to make the treatment time shorter. For about 2 years I was an almost weekly visitor here. I always felt well taken care of by the staff and like my needs were met each time. They are truly interested in your comfort and the health of your teeth. After my braces came off, I needed to get two dental implants to replace areas that never grew adult teeth (all carefully planned for during my orthodontic journey.) I have since relocated from Boston and unfortunately had to find new dental care. Every dentist who has seen my dental implants has marveled at how well they are placed. I had a panorama x-ray taken recently and the bone looks extremely healthy over 5 years later. If you are on the fence about making an appointment to speak with Dr. Sasson, don't be. I would highly recommend him and his practice to anyone.

I arrived a couple of minutes late, due to traffic. I was seen in a few minutes. Joe's examination was thorough, as usual, and cleaning was completed in the time allotted. I'm due back in four months. We made a follow-up appointment at the end of the appointment.

I recently finished Invisalign treatment with Dr. Sasson and his team, and it was a pleasant and convenient experience from start to finish. I did not know much about the treatment prior to becoming a patient at Boston Smile Center, and it sounded like a daunting 8 months. Nancy was very helpful in coordinating with my insurance company and explaining the payment process. I was always able to get an appointment at a convenient time, and I was made to feel very comfortable at every check-up. Dr. Sasson and his team were genuinely excited for me upon seeing the excellent final results of the treatment. I enthusiastically recommend Boston Smile Center for Invisalign and any routine dental treatments that you need!

My name is Wendy and I cannot sign the praises of this office more. I would recommend the 100x over. K came here to get my teeth straightened using invisiligners and Dr. SASSON WAS AMAZING!! He was patient with me throughout my refining stage and respected my decision enough to give me time to time things over when I needed to. The facility is clean, the staff at the front desk especially Nancy, is friendly and caring, and my cleanings are always on point. This place got me the smile I've always wanted and the doctors are kind, patient, and always understanding. All of the people here were so nice and patient with me! I was very nervous as I haven't been to the dentist in a few years. Joe the hygienist was great and answered all of my questions. I also loved Nancy and Dr. Sasson; both were so nice and made me feel comfortable. I used to hate going to the dentist, but everyone at Boston Smile Center was so kind and made it a positive experience.
