Dr. Kim is an associate professor in the Department of Prosthodontics and associate director of the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM). He has been a faculty member since 1997 and served as assistant professor in the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics and the Advanced Education in Esthetic Dentistry Program from 2000 to 2007. Dr. Kim holds his D.D.S. degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea and his D.M.D. degree from TUSDM. He also earned both degree of Master of Science in Dental Science and Advanced Education certificate in Prosthodontics from TUSDM.
Dr. Kim received the Faculty of the Year Award presented by the Class of 2000 and received Certificate of Appreciation for Valued Participation in the Educational program by Dean at TUSDM. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a fellow of American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. Kim has published numerous articles and given many presentations at national and international meetings. He has lectured many times both nationally and internationally in Prosthodontics, Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Kim's research interest is in dental Implants, especially in the Biomechanics and CAD/CAM field.
Dr. Ekaterini Antonellou is the Director of the Implant Dentistry Program and an Associate Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry and Director of Clinical and Preclinical Fixed Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she has been serving as a faculty member for the past eighteen years.
She graduated from Athens University School of Dentistry and received her Prosthodontics certificate and Master of Science from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She specializes in Esthetic, Reconstuctive and Impalnt Dentistry.
Dr. Antonellou has been a course director for different courses in Prosthodontics in TUSDM and has served in multiple committees in the school. She has been an advisor to Master students and lectures to both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. She has presented both nationally and internationally and is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Academy of Osseointegration and the International College of Prosthodontics and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Although she loves being at Tufts University, she decided that it was time to open a practice of her own! Thats why she opened Antonellou Dentistry. Overall, Dr. Antonellou is a caring and devoted dentist according to her patients. She tries her best everyday and she always makes sure that every one working with her is on task to provide the remarkable results for her patients.
I have been Dr. Kim's patient since High School; now, my Mother, Father, sister, and Husband see him as well. He teaches at Tufts and is an American board certified prosthodontist. My husband had implants with Dr.Kim and he is very happy with the result. Throughout the years, Dr. Kim has demonstrated not only high prowess in his profession, but also genuine care for me.
