Dr. Jessica Liu is the orthodontic specialist at Boston Embrace Orthodontics and has been in the orthodontic field for more than a decade. She has created countless beautiful smiles for many happy patients and strives to provide the highest quality of care and personalized treatment.
Dr. Liu attended Boston Universitys Goldman Dental School to obtain her Doctorate of Medicine in dentistry and received her certificate in orthodontics from The Ohio State University after three years of rigorous clinical training. In addition to these clinical experiences, Dr. Liu has extensive research training in biomaterials in dentistry and a PhD in oral biology from Ohio State.
Staying current on state-of-the-art treatment methods is incredibly important to Dr. Liu so she can provide her patients with the best care. She attends continuing education courses and events throughout the year so she is up to date on the latest techniques.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. She has been in orthodontic field for more than ten years, and has been working in the Greater Boston area as an orthodontist since 2015. With my first time having braces, I'm so glad that I chose Dr. Liu as my orthodontist. She's so knowledgeable and nice! She's exceeded all of my expectations! I was very nervous about not only the process itself but also how I could cover costs. Dr. Liu is a great orthodontist. She has always been very keen on guiding me through my invisalign journey. I like to know what to expect before taking any actions. This is one of the main reasons why I appreciate Dr. Liu. Every action she takes is purposeful and she always consults me first before doing anything mid-journey. I seldom write any reviews, However Dr. Jessica is warm and kind, as well as an expert in her field. My daughter has become her patient for Orthodontics for one year and a half, Doctor Jessica has helped her greatly with a difficult teeth condition.I can see the improvements month by month. When I was looking for an orthodontist for my daughter, I wanted not only a professional and experienced one but also insurance covered and near my house. Dr. Liu meets all my expectations! Very clean office conveniently located in Newton Centre. Dr. Liu is very professional and experienced. From the initial consultation to designing the aligners, she always explains to me every step she takes. She also takes extra steps to minimize discomfort for me. Within only a few months, I can see my teeth improving obviously and i can't wait for the final result. I highly recommend anyone interested in Invisalign to consult with Dr. Liu.

It's a really good place to get braces. My orthodontist Dr.Liu really nice and professional. This is also a really convenient place to get braces. I recommended two other people in my family to come here and do their braces and they are really happy with it.
