Boston Dental - General dentist in Boston, MA

Boston Dental continually invests in the most advanced technology and aesthetic techniques in dentistry to provide, gentle, family-oriented care to our patients. Our expert team of dentists in Boston emphasizes comprehensive quality care and preventive dentistry.

Like old-fashioned dental X-rays, digital dental X-rays are used by your dentist to take images of your mouth, including tooth structure and your jaw bones, by placing a small, carefully positioned sensor in your mouth that is connected to a computer. The dentist will reposition the sensor and take additional digital X-rays until all of your teeth have been X-rayed, providing your dentist with the ability to view color contrast in HD and check for bone density, among other benefits.

Laser dentistry is one of the least invasive tools your dentist can use to provide quality dental care. Boston Dental is proud to offer laser dentistry, using cutting-edge technology to provide more comfortable, precise, and efficient dental care.

Laser dentistry has become the ideal choice for patients with 97% of people who have had Waterlase treatment recommending it to their friends and family. Some of its benefits include overall patient comfort, zero anesthesia needed (no shots or numb lips), minimal damage to surrounding tissue, less bleeding and post-operative swelling, reduction in overall healing time and need for pain medication, reduction in periodontal pockets without the use of stitches or sutures and it can be used in multiple soft tissue procedures including fillings, sterilization and gum sculpting.

The detection of cavities is paramount to maintaining clean and healthy teeth. To eliminate the discomfort associated with this process, Boston Dental is pleased to offer the DIAGNOdent Laser by KaVo, the latest technology in cavity detection.

The DIAGNOdent Laser is an advanced technology that provides many benefits to the patient inclyding cavity identification on the fissure lines or occlusal surfaces of teeth and other areas of decay, full scanning of teeth to identify healthy and unhealthy enamel using laser and fluorescent light technology, and identification of trouble areas of teeth with precision that surpasses that of X-rays.

Boston Dental uses dental Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) to generate 3D images of our patients dental structures, soft tissue, nerve paths and bone all in a single scan. The CBCT moves a cone-shaped X-ray beam around the patient to produce hundreds of high-quality images. These images enable our dentists to execute more precise treatment planning than a traditional X-ray machine.

The CBCT makes the X-ray process easy for our patients. People simply sit down in an exam chair and remain still for 10 30 seconds, depending upon how much of the mouth and dental structures are imaged. In a single rotation, the detector can generate anywhere between 150 to 200 high resolution two-dimensional (2-D) images, which are then digitally combined to form a 3-D image that provides our dentists with valuable information about patients oral and craniofacial health.

Boston Dental uses modern, highly accurate digital impression technology a welcomed departure from the traditional dental practice of forcing patients to use uncomfortable trays full of impression materials that taste bad.

As part of the Boston Dental luxury experience, our dentists use an intraoral dental scanner to digitally capture every nook and cranny of our patients teeth to ensure accurate impressions and make creating high-quality restorations much quicker.

I started to have very bad pain in my mouth and swelling to the point chewing or brushing my teeth in the area would hurt - Boston Dental at government center was able to get me an appointment within a DAY. The process was smooth and transparent and there is also a questionnaire sent to fill out so they can know more about your dental health. The dentist was very gentle and informative the entire time while I was cringing from the pain in my mouth. The swelling had even gone down by the end of the treatment. She made sure I felt comfortable and addressed my immediate concerns and followed up on any others I had. The space is clean and they even have Netflix set up for you to watch while you get your treatment which was helpful because just sitting there staring at the ceiling is so awkward highly recommend this place!!

I've struggled to find a good dentist in Boston until Boston dental. They did a crown for me after I had received a poorly done bonding, and it fits perfectly with the rest of my smile. Highly recommend them!

Sandra is my hygienist since my first visit. Everything with her is perfect; she takes her time to do the best job. She explains you absolutely everything about your teeth and shows you that she cares about you. First time with my new dentist was great, she was really clear and knowledgeable while talking to me about some procedures. The location is incredibly clean every time I go there. They always have water for you and treat you since you come in with all the respect that you deserve.

From the courtesy bottled beverages in the reception area to the cutting-edge technology, every visit at Boston Dental has been a positive experience! I am a visual person, so the capability to view my teeth live on camera, while the team make recommendations for future care I find very helpful. Being able to watch a Netflix film while having cavities filled is another added bonus! Office is very swanky, positive vibes.

I have been a patient at Boston Dental (government center) for 2+ years and very happy with my dental care here. The location is near and clean, staff are thorough and knowledgeable, and I felt safe keeping up with my dental care here even through the pandemic. The staff also are conscientious about insurance coverage and make sure to communicate with me what is covered/what isn't, and exactly what I'm paying for if I pay out of pocket. Overall an excellent location to be a dental patient - I don't think I could ask for a better place!

I was a new patient. My experience was horrifying. Their office is a complete fraud. From misleading advertising to unsafe equipment and treatments. This business is run as a money-making machine to open new offices by cutting corners every step of the way and jeopardizing patients' safety. Their equipment is not properly disinfected, they handle and prepare new patient stations without using any gloves, they don't use proper tools to perform a safe dental treatment. They only have one available dental camera in the whole office which can't be properly cleaned between patients. They mislead you to signing into unauthorized treatments and without your consent, they rush and perform into the treatment. Laura C. Simons was my dentist. She used anesthetic that was unsafe to me because it cost less money to them. She intentionally cut into my gumlines causing permanent damage. Laura without my consent did deep drilling into my tooth causing infection.Everything was perform to intentionally harm you. X-rays were taken by Magen El-Malecki which led to gum line damage. Magen couldn't take one proper x-ray instead she took 5 x-rays of the same tooth while not using camera properly and exposing my half face to the radiation 5 times. Both individuals Laura C. Simons and Magen El-Malecki are very careless about patient concerns or safety. To alert others I left a more detailed note on the BBB website. There is another patient note on BBB.
